Mike Stack came out very quickly to help me with a leak I had noticed in my family room ceiling. After looking at the shower upstairs, he determined that the floor drain was leaking. He cut open the drywall in the ceiling and quickly removed and replaced the old floor drain with a new one. The process was smooth as could be. He then recommended an outstanding contractor to me, Wayne Gran with Elite Enterprises, who came out and repaired the hole in my ceiling. The shower works great and you can even tell there was a problem there now. Outstanding work and I highly recommend this company.

They came out the first time for the refrigerator. It turned out excellent. They came when they said they would. The guy was knowledgeable. They did such a good job that I used them for my sink. It turned out beautiful. They also installed a garbage disposal. I haven't had any problems. Everything went great.

I needed a wax toilet ring replaced in the master bathroom toilet. I had been stood up by another plumbing service so I went to Angie's list and contacted Stack Plumbing. I had emailed and called for an appointment. I did get a call back right away. He was professional, and prompt, (was in the neighborhood and had had a cancellation). In my email, I did inquire about the pricing, but the email was never answered. I was so surprised at the promptness that they could come and solve my problem that I forgot to ask about price. I must admit, that I was shocked at the price. My fault for not confirming on the phone first, though. He was here for no more than 30 minutes. I did get my 5% discount for being a first time customer calling from Angie's list. I am rethinking that I want my grandchildren to be doctors or lawyers...

Arrived on time as scheduled and fixed the problem is less time than it would have taken me to go to/from the hardware store, much less fix the problem.

Described above. Prompt email reply, prompt service, and everything is back to normal and in better shape!

We couldn't be happier with Stack! We have used them before and knew that they are a little pricey but that it is worth it for the quality work that they do. As always, they were prompt, professional and everything was done well. We were also given estimates for future plumbing work around the house. We know that we will be using them again.

We were losing about 6 gallons an hour. He came out and had all the parts and repaired it within a half an hour. I am very satisfied !

It went well, however, I ended up paying $200 labor for about 1 hour of work which seems higher than average.

They did a great job. They came out; it was during a snow storm. My husband was considering fixing a faucet in the back, but then it stopped leaking. We will use them again; we are very happy with them. One of turner knobs to turn off the water underneath the sink in my bathroom was completely rusted out and corroded. We were afraid to even touch it, so we didn’t use the sink for a week because we were in the middle of a snow storm. Then he did come out and fixed everything. With regard to price, it was a pretty reasonable rate. Plumbing is not cheap, but it wasn’t exorbitant or anything. He didn’t beat around the bush. He told us what the deal was. He was able to fix it right away. He was very friendly. The responsiveness was the only one little problem, but it was the snow. He was busy helping people who had broken pipes. That's why he couldn’t come right away.

My husband tried to fix the leak in the tub - but unfortunately, made it worse. What was a 2.5 gallon leak in a day turned out to be a 15 gallon leak. Yikes! The plumber I used before couldn't come by and never called me back. I had used Stack Plumbing before in my old house and was very happy with them, so I called again, happy to see them on Angie's List. They were able to service me the day I called and within several hours. Kevin was professional, punctual and helpful.

They are located in an area where I live. It’s a very small company so they are very responsive to you. The owner was out there working on my property along with his worker. Although the problem was difficult to diagnose, they got it fixed.

They arrived promptly and were very thorough and complete in their work. They specifically helped me to troubleshoot my kitchen sink area where there is a lot of congestion and I had been having an intermittent leak under the sink. He was able to quickly determine the cause of the issue, and recommend several different options as to how to proceed to fix the issue. They checked all of the plumbing fixtures as well as the water pressure and hot water tank, and even fixed another leak I had under a bathroom sink that was just starting to cause issues there! They checked all of the toilets for leaky valves. Their professional and caring attitude was greatly appreciated and I am going to have them come back and get the items done as they fit into my limited budget. It was a real pleasure to have them in my house and I trust them to complete the future projects.

Went from working with the worst plumber to Allred's who are the best service company i have dealt with to date. Had some old toilets to replace before the inlaws arrived. I called Allred's and dealt with the owner who recommend Toto toilets as one of the best to use so went with that. When the service tech arrived he was friendly and went over the work to do. He then laid out protective coverings in the house! And went to work without any problems. When he was done the first one we heard a shop vac start. We were so surprised as other companies never cleaned up after themselves! He finished the 2nd toilet in the same manner. He prepared our bill and went over everything and it matched the estimate exactly. What a great experience and the owner called me later to make sure we were happy. And we were Toto's are an excellent toilet and were tested by our in-laws :) Again for fast, professional and accurate service I would recommend Allred's

We were referred to this company by our neighbor who had recently had some work done. I'm glad we called. The gentleman that came out was beyond professional. I had purchased a vanity only to discover that the back did not line up with where the plumbing exited the wall. I was about two inches off. I do a lot of home repairs, but this one was beyond my scope. I did not know how to adjust pipes that were already in my walls, he was kind enough to allow me to watch as he went about moving the required plumbing. It turns out the fix was much simpler than I had anticipated. He had it completely fixed within 45 minutes! No where even close to the two hours minimum I was paying for and had fully expected the fix to take. But wait... Instead of rushing out the door since he had accomplished what he was called out to do, he didn't. He reminded me that I had paid for a two hour minimum and I still had him for another hour. He then proceeded to inspect our other plumbing fixtures for any issues. He discovered a couple hose bibs that were leaking due to winter freezes and me forgetting to cover them properly. He promptly repaired those as well to fulfill the two hour minimum. How often do you have a contractor that's willing to fix more than what's on their work order? How often do you discover someone that tries to make his customer's experience worth every penny? Talk about a class act. This outfit definitely fits the definition. I would without a doubt hire this company again. I have referred them to friends and family time and again. Each time with a positive result.

Todd arrived with his team when scheduled (unfortunately for them, it was very early because of my schedule). They had coverings installed on the floors and carpets while they were working, and they cleaned up afterwards every day. As I said, Todd was the only one who would talk about the other plumbing issues up front and give me a bid on those items also. All the things done were to bring the house up to code. I plan to sell in a short while, and I likely would have needed to have them fixed before a sale would go though on the house. I now have good water pressure, the water goes down the drains as it should, my plumbing is not leaking into the basement, and each sink has its own drain in the bathroom.

The plumber came prepared with the parts, took out and discarded the old, broken pump and installed a new one. He applied an enzyme and cleaner to help with cleanup of the mess that the pump failure caused. He'd arrived on time, took care of the problem and minimized the hassle for me. There's not much more I could ask for. I've used them before and will use them again in the future.

Saw water dripping near our hot water recirc pump. Called up these guys. Super-fast response (came out same day or next day - I forget). Guy identified issue quickly. Hole was near pump - and he would have to take pipe out of pump. Recommended that I replace the pump - since in order to replace pipe he would have to take pipe out of pump - and was concerned that pump might leak in future if he reinserted/sweated fixed pipe. (also mentioned current pump was installed incorrectly) Went ahead and told him to replace pump - I have/had no idea - since he seemed to suggest that I might have problems in future - I don't know any better. Estimate was somewhere around $600 before job was started - final bill was $805. Left two notes with my wife - one that I probably needed some other part (check valve) unrelated to leak and another that customer (i.e. me) was supposed to reinsulate the pipes that he tore off the insulation from and fixed. I followed up in email on the two items above - still unclear whether I need check valve - the insulation was due to him using the last of it on the job before. Guy over email was helpful about the check-valve issue - but still not sure whether I need it. My pipe no longer leaks - and I'm hoping that the insulation wasn't necessary - because it's unlikely that I'm going to do this myself.

So, it was raining in our basement playroom. We looked up, there was a big waterstain and a drip where there had never been one before and we had house guests coming in 5 days from Canada. I gave Stack a call as I had seen their trucks around our neighborhood and gave them the story. They were out the next morning. The fella that came out started his day early just to squeeze us in. He cut a hole in the ceiling, traced the leak up to a bad faucet in our upstairs bathroom. Popped out the faucet... or control... can't remember which, and had the replacement parts in his truck. Fixed the problem and was about his merry way in an hour. Quick Efficient Effective I couldn't ask for anything more. We left the hole for 4 days so it could dry then I zipped up some drywall. Our house guests were none the wiser. We will be contacting them to turn our one sink bathroom into a dual sink bathroom for our girls. I will update the review when that happens.

It went very good, they were very professional, reasonably priced, they recommended to us other things that may need to be done..very nice.

The plumber was able to sort out the problem, pull a pump from the truck and replace it within just a few hours. He spread an enzyme to kill any bacteria in the crawl space. I was really impressed with his efficient work.

Work was quick and appears to be well done. A rep from the company called me within a few hours of my message post to them on Angie's List. Plumber had to cut out a 3-4' section and band it with the original pipe at the two ends. Didn't leave any mess behind. I only have a few minor issues with the whole process: 1) there was no mention of a $15 visit fee when I spoke to the plumber on the phone. That's a significant percentage of the bill. 2) the cost of the three or more parts used in the repair were not itemized on the bill; only the total cost of parts were listed and it looked like a very convenient number and seemed a little high to me. 3) the plumber who showed up was supposed to call me when he was on his way so I could leave work in time to meet him. Instead, he was a couple hours early and never called and my teenage son had to let him in the house. Repairs were well underway before I could even talk to the plumber, though he did have my son call me to ask if it was ok to cut into my drywall. The price was well within the quoted range, so the first two points were not that bothersome. The third issue made me uncomfortable, which is why I dinged both professionalism and punctuality. Overall A because the issues were not enough to drop to a B and the end result seems excellent.

The initial visit was to clear the slow drain. The plumber arrived on time. The return visit was scheduled for 4th of July but there was no extra charge since the plumber was choosing to work on the holiday. Very clean and professional while working.

The work done by Allreds went exceptionally well. They were at my home on 6/25, 7/1. 7/8 and 7/16. We bought a house in foreclosure and, not to our surprise, it needed quite a bit of plumbing work done. Todd Allred reviewed the inspection report so we knew right away that we would have to replace the 75gallon, 30 year old, water tank. Todd reviewed with me the options I had, the benefits and drawbacks of each option and the pricing. The first things Todd and Josh worked on was the water heater. After that to be honest its kind of a blur (foreclosure). They replaced piping so the sinks worked, hooked up the dishwasher, checked the lines for the refrigerator, changed out the garbage disposal, connected the instahot, replaced 3 toilets and the corresponding faucets, connected a hose bib that had no water supply, changed out the drain of the shower that overflowed on the 3rd floor down to the 2nd (nice). It was filled with some type of white cement type stuff but looks clean now. They also hooked up the washer and dryer that the movers put in backwards. The best part - other than the fact that my plumbing is now perfect - was that both Todd and Josh were dependable, honest, professional, neat and easy to work with. They addressed any problems that came up quickly and efficiently. They worked alongside the electrician, landscaper, and general contractor without any problems. I would highly recommend Allred's Mechanical Solutions for any plumbing project. I have used 2 different plumbers in the past and Allred's outperformed them in every way.

We called Stack because of their rating on Angie's List. Our kitchen faucet was leaking and then became very hard to move. We were not sure if we needed repair or replacement. They were nice enough to suggest the old faucet had seen better days, and helped us in choices for our new faucet, even when they did not know if we would hire them. When we found the faucet; we made arrangements for its installation. They returned our calls the same day. We have 22 year old pluming which involved some plastic pipes. The plumber adjusted the installation to accommodate our setup, and then helped with the outside faucet. As the plumber was packing up, we tried out the new faucet, only to have the whole hose assembly fly off in pieces. We ran out and got the plumber. He looked at the problem and suggested we call the vendor. He stayed right there with us so he could explain what had happened. Apparently, this is a "first" for this brand of faucet. He then supplied a cap for the hose so it would not go back down the faucet until we could get a new sprayer. He also demonstrated how to install the new part. Our vendor was very cooperative, and we appreciated the extra time and trouble the plumber went to to help us solve the problem. It turned out to be an assembly problem with the manufacturer of the faucet. Their recommendations and service were top notch.

We had an appointment scheduled for June 7th at 8am. Todd showed up exactly at 8. He inspected all systems, toilets, sinks, connections, showers, and water heater. I really wasn't thrilled at what he found however was very thankful for his detailed explanations and his confidence that all the problems were fixable. Todd then took the time to research the best options based on our families needs and budget and presented a detailed list of options for us. He will be performing all required work at that end of the month after closing. Keep posted........to be continued.
