The technician (Andrew) inspected and cleaned our chimney. He answered my many questions about the process with patience, and gave me much useful information on chimney care and maintenance. He did a very clean job.

Smoothly. I receive an email confirming the requested time. The installer shows up promptly and perform the work. It was completed in 15-20 min. Well done.

the first appt they were late, called saying they would be delayed then called and cancelled. the second appt they never showed up and rescheduled weeks later I tried contacting them by email requesting my money back and no response

They were on time, communicated clearly the work that needed to be done and completed the work in an hour. They vacuumed out the stove after brushing down the soot from the chimney. They took pictures of our chimney topper and provided a bid for a proper cap. We will go with their bid if it's lower than 2 others we plan to get. We paid for the service with an Angie's List Deal.

The serviceman was prompt, courteous, and thorough. He did his inspection and them sent an estimate of repairs we had discussed within 2 days.

It went well. The work was done in the time estimated, and the workers were very good about updating us on their progress daily.

I checked the reviews on Angie's list and chose Chimcare to give me an estimate. I spoke on the to Harold who was a nice enough guy with the exception he kept calling me" Sweetie, My love and thanks beautiful" all nice but even my husband does not go that overboard on a short phone call, and I have never met or see Harold....but nice he imagines I am beautiful and sweet... This morning Ryan the "chimney technician" arrived on time for the appointment and estimate. I showed him the damaged bricks on my chimney and he noticed the only access to the side of the impacted chimney was accessible by my outdoor deck which is actually the roof to my garage. He immediately announced they would not be able to do the work since they have a policy of not putting their ladders on decks (!!!???) . A couple of qualifying questions in my first phone call with Harold would have saved us both a lot of time and I could actually be working with a company that could do the work. I have no idea if they do good work or not- but I am incredibly disappointed that I stayed home from work for an appointment that did not result in any estimate for repair- I would have called Harold and expressed my frustration but I wasn't in the mood for any more terms of endearment...

Excellent, I will continue to use them exclusively from here on in.

We originally expected to get two chimneys cleaned and inspected, but the technician, Andrew, determined that one of the chimneys did not require cleaning. Andrew cleaned the other chimney (amazing result, as seen in before and after pictures he took), and even re-laid the logs we had in the fireplace before the cleaning! After inspecting both chimneys, he explained what additional work is needed, and why, and was patient in responding to our many questions. Overall, Andrew was very diligent and thorough, and respectful of our home, leaving no mess behind.

The work was very thorough and professional. We also got some good recomendations for additional chimney repairs that are needed.

Complete scam. He told us that our chimney looked great but that our fireplace could use some caulking. He asked my wife if he would like her to do it 'really quickly' with no mention of a charge. After 10 minutes of work, he proceeded to tell her that it was $100. Buyer beware.

It was perfect, it was just the $99 big deal price. I would absolutely use them again.

He explained everything to me and was very honest. Since they didn't do anything, he said there would be no charge since he was in the area already.

Tech tech called and said he was going to be late. He was 5 minutes late. I was pleased with the communication. The work was finished with little impact on the household.

It went pretty bad, your website and web form did not define what areas would or would not be serviced, and contacting you about a refund is pretty hard. I have had a lot of vendors supply me with service who are out of Seattle, but these guys obviously don't. If I haven't received a full refund by Monday, April 17th, I will challenge the payment with my credit card company. Also, I want my credit card info, removed from your site.

Ryan from Chimcare Seattle came out to our home on Queen Anne and did a chimney sweep, an inspection of the chimney both inside and out/top an bottom, and cleaned out the dryer vent. He did a great job and we were very pleased with all aspects of the transaction. This was the second time we've used Chimcare and we will continue using them each season.

The work went well and everyone I worked with was great until it came to pay the bill. Seems that the back office didn't understand how apply the AL deal credit and despite talking through it with them at the beginning, they proceeded to overcharge the credit card. Fortunately it didn't create an over charge issue for the card and we ended up paying what was agreed; however, the person in the back office I dealt with blamed another employee "that no longer worked there," which I thought was unprofessional. I also never received the inspection report I was promised despite asking for it several times. I suspect the back office employee learned my phone number so when I called to request the inspection report the call went directly to email and the calls were never returned. For those reasons I can't recommend this business.

Very well. I appreciated his honesty. He said that one fireplace chimney did not need any work, but the other one did.

Ryan was the professional who served my chimney. He was on time and ready to go. He showed up with all the necessary equipment and went to work. When we was done, he went over everything he saw, pointed out potential issue and offered pointers for better maintenance and improved usage. Ryan was outgoing and very professional. The whole service took about 45 minutes. What an awesome experience! Will definitely use again!

Not only did he give it a thorough cleaning, he carefully inspected the chimney outside and in, gave recommendations for things that should be addressed. Highly recommended. Prompt, courteous, bought a deal and saved money.

I purchased a deal on Angie's List to have my chimney inspected and swept. Ryan Schwake came and did a thorough job. The inspection identified some problems, and an estimate given without using "hard sale" techniques. He went the extra mile and glued the gasket down on a place it had lifted up.

It went well, however, as other reviews had mentioned, the first thing I was told was that my cap needed to be cleaned or replaced but they couldn't do it without scaffolding. I was then asked if I still wanted a cleaning. This is interesting considering a year before I had another company come out who got up on the room with ladders and cleaned everything without a problem. Also, if I paid for a service why would I not want the cleaning even if the cap needed work?

Extremely well! Ryan showed up right on time, explained what he was going to do and then did exactly what he said he would. He also recommended some minor firebox repair which I authorized him to do.

Great - office staff was super friendly and helpful. Andrew, who came out to do the work, was on time, very knowledgable and thorough, and took the time to talk explain everything and answer my questions. Would definitely recommend and use again.
