He was terrific. Neat, tidy, A’s on everything, timely. Gave me an estimate. Actually, he came back a second time because he sold me a reasonably priced hood for my chimney and he was great. I would use him again in a heartbeat. I thought they were totally reasonable on price. I thought they were great. I would definitely use them again. Terrific, absolutely wonderful also. I didn’t have to pay anymore except for the chimney cap. I want to say the cap was like $60 or $50, very reasonable. In my old house I had gotten an estimate for it and it was a lot more expensive. One person came to complete the service. It took maybe 2-3 hours to complete the service. Very nice, neat and clean, quiet, made sure to discuss everything with me, just a really nice human being. Very professional, very professional. They left the area absolutely spotless. They clean the chimney. The chimney is in my living room. They didn’t break anything. They moved everything gently. They swept everything out. They cleaned the window. He told me how to keep the window clean and then he recommended putting the hood. There was something he saw on my chimney and I think he thought it would be good to put that collar on which seemed like a good idea. Great, handed me the card, showed me everything.

The price was not expected at all but they did well. Nothing to compare it to but I was very impressed with the first guy that come out. professional and got the job done faster than an estimated.

I purchased an Angie's List Deal which included the first fireplace, I paid extra for the 2nd. They responded promptly and were easy to arrange a day/time. The technician came promptly and was very professional. I have to reduce the service to a "B" because after he set up at the fireplace and went on the roof, he realized that the tool he needed had recently broken and he was not able to do the job. We rescheduled, he came promptly and completed the job in a professional manner.

The tech's name was Andrew, he was very knowledgeable and very professional. He explained everything he did and took pictures that he sent to us via email. We were very pleased with it. The cap looks very good! I would recommend them and I would use them again in the future

Estimate received, guy went on roof while I was home without even knocking. He was very high on pot and dropped things fumbled around and made many mistakes on estimates. Bragged on how he scored getting this job with company. Several calls to office they never responded or called back as asked on voicemail. Due to poor customer service and negligence causing risk being intoxicated on roof I could not trust to go further. Highest quote I got also. More but I'm sure it would not be approved for posting.

Went ok, however, the young man who did the cleaning did not seal off the fireplace opening before going on the roof to begin cleaning so soot began to pour out of the fireplace. Fortunately I was there and rushed out to tell him to stop before it got too bad. He was very apologetic and offered for the company to pay for cleaning services. I did not feel that was necessary, but I did have to do a bit of clean-up myself. Always be on hand and make sure your fireplace opening is tightly sealed off.

The work was excellent. The gentleman was on time and kept everything clean. He recommended a new part for our fireplace which was cracked. I received an estimate shortly after his visit. We also discussed placing a fan at the top of our chimney to get it to draft. It is expensive, but something I was very interested in. I have not heard back from them on that. I emailed them and still no response.

I had to call for the quote and was told the dimension number were lost. He offered to come back and remeasure. I never heard from them again

Chimcare determined that there was no flashing in the original chimney job between the roofing and the chimney. Chimcare recommended tearing the chimney down to the roofline to install flashing, as attempting to slide flashing under the existing roofing would likely damage it. This would have significantly increased our cost. Chimcare did not offer to coordinate with a roofing company and essentially left us a take it or leave it tear down offer. We pursued a roofing company ourselves, had the roofing around the chimney removed, flashing installed, and new roofing applied. Then much later Chimcare came back and completed the job. The final result was good on the masonry job, but the task of getting a new metal cap was left for us to do as well. Total job start to finish took 4 months.

We used an Angie's List coupon offer for chimney inspection and cleaning from Chimcare. They scheduled our service immediately, and the technician, Andrew W., was fantastic: extremely knowledgeable and willing to answer questions. He was on time, friendly, thorough, and totally professional. He did a great job, and we'll definitely be calling Chimcare for any other service we need on our fireplace and chimney.

Ryan VH came to our house on time and was ready to go. He was friendly and professional, and told me it would only take about an hour to complete the entire job. We don't wear shoes in our house and Ryan was happy to accommodate and take off his shoes while he worked on our chimney. He worked efficiently while the rest of my family was running around the house getting ready for school. About 45 minutes later he was done cleaning from the inside and finished inspecting the chimney from the roof. He also offered to patch a hole on the chimney from the outside where a woodpecker created a hole. I didn't take him up on this as I have other work to do there later, but I was very appreciative of the offer. All in all excellent!

Job was done on time and without any extra charges.

The actual inspection and cleaning was done well. But this happen on the third appointment. They missed one appointment with no explaination given and rescheduled to their convenience and before that they sent a scedule to wrong email and came for work without ever getting a confirmation from me for that appointment. And left a card at the door, again no indication that someone had actually visted for appointment. I thought it was a soliciting brochure.
