CARPET PRO INSTALLATIONS

Description of Work: I used Carpet Pros because they were Home Depot's installer. Part of the problem with the whole installation was Home Depot and their myriad of ridiculous hoops you have to jump through to get something installed. (Sufficed to say, I won't be using them again, either.) We called Home Depot for installation of carpet. That frustration isn't really related to Carpet Pros, but they didn't make things any easier. We were told by Home Depot before we purchased their services that our carpet installation would take 2 weeks, including measure and order time. We scheduled moves around their estimates so that the room in which we were installing carpet would be empty. After Home Depot's measuring company came on the 13th of September (another fiasco) we called Home Depot and somehow managed to order the carpet (without ever seeing the measure by the company since they never sent it). Then when we tried to schedule with Carpet Pros we were told they wouldn't schedule an installation until all the product came into the warehouse. That took another week (at least). When I finally called them to schedule the installation, after the measure, after the carpet order...they told me it would be another 2 weeks before they could schedule the installation. They finally installed the carpet on the 7th of October...a month after we initially scheduled the measure. The installation was done professionally, although the team of two arrived late for our appointment. Then we had an issue with the way the room was installed that we didn't notice until after they left. I called Carpet Pros and got the "I'll need to talk to my manager and see what we can do and I'll call you back." I never heard from them again, and in order to save my sanity...we decided to live with the carpet as is. No, I wouldn't use them again.

Description of Work: Carpet Pros (Hired through Home Depot) installed about 1,1000 SF of carpet in my house and carpeted about 12 stairs.

Description of Work: They installed carpet all over our 1,000 square foot home, putting back the furniture when they were done, after 9-10 hours of work.
