Carlisle classic homes finished our 2nd story addition is Seattle earlier this year. Our house is an old craftsman with some interesting details and we wanted to persevere what we could. We are so pleased with the outstanding quality of the work. Before construction our project manager Kevin was great at explaining the ever changing cost of materials and lead times during covid.. He was always prompt at responding to our questions and recalculating estimates as we narrowed down the plans. During construction we had weekly meetings with Kevin and our superintendent, Jake. Both Jake and Kevin keep us informed and responded promptly to any questions. It was such a pleasure to work with them and a relief to know our house was in good hands: Our project was completed within the estimated length of construction with no major delays. We are now back in our house and it is perfect I highly recommend Carlisle classic homes for your construction needs.

Got jobs done quickly and efficiently. Any issues/questions were addressed and resolved. We have had several projects and have confidence that workmanship is of high quality. All workers were friendly and competent. Thanks to Kevin for supervising everything and keeping us informed. Not bargain-basement pricing, but definitely worth paying to get excellent, relatively hassle-free work.

Amazingly well. This was the second time for me with Carlisle Classic Homes. They were willing to take on my second home in a year with no wait. They finished within budget (a little less, including my one change) and in a timely manner considering the supply chain challenges. I'd hire them again with no qualms (but I never want to do this again!)

We used Carlisle Home to build our dream home in Leavenworth, WA. This is a completely custom home designed by Syndicate Smith that incorporated a number of unique elements that had to be painstakingly constructed by top tier skilled men and women. We couldn't be happier with the house and the attention to detail and responsiveness off Carlisle. We would love to build another home with them in the future.

We engaged Carlisle for an extensive whole home remodel in Edmonds and couldn't have been more pleased with the entire process and of course the outcome. All of their team was professional, organized, and all work they did was incredibly high quality. Perhaps as importantly all of these great qualities extended to the trades that Carlisle hired as well. Anytime we ran into unexpected issues (as is common in remodels), I found that I could count on Carlisle's team to be one step ahead in identifying mitigations or in some cases already working on fixes. I would not hesitate working with Carlisle again.

Working with Carlisle Classic Homes was a very good thing ! I spent 2 years researching builders and would work with them all over again. Working with our Project Superintendent Andy Horst was very positive in every way , he was a joy to be around ! We miss him already ! Alex Adolfi , our Project Manager was also very easy to work with. They both showed us respect , transparency , and listened to us every step of the way. They were honest and showed us their integrity. What at first seemed like an overwhelming project , turned into our home coming out and finishing just as we wanted. There were many conversations where we felt listened to as we continued to design and make our house just the way we wanted it. All the subs and workers who came on the job site were also respectful and kind . The Carlisle employees are all such nice people we enjoyed the process very much . If anything needed attention, they were quick to remedy any outstanding issues, and we feel like we are in good hands should anything arise . They take excellent care of their clients , and are very responsive . The work done on our home is first class and no corners were ever cut . Now we have new friends and we are very proud of our new home . Thanks Carlisle Classic Homes !

The kitchen remodel was done with quality and attention to detail, the program management made it easy and seamless for me. There were some unexpected challenges with this remodel unrelated to Carlisle Classic Homes where they went above and beyond to help resolve in a timely and super helpful manner.

They were very professional from the project manager, site superintendent to every sub hired. I highly recommend!

It went very well. Brian with Carlisle was punctual when he came out to measure for the windows, and punctual when he returned to install them. I went with the Indow Window brand, and am very happy with the results. Brian cleaned up after the installation, and showed me how to maintain and clean the storms. It was a challenging window shape, but they fit perfectly. The storm windows were also designed to minimize noise from the adjacent freeway, and the house is so much quieter now.

My husband and I just completed a phased 2 year complete remodel of our 1935 Tudor home in the Magnolia neighborhood of Seattle with the assistance of Carlisle Classic homes. Phase I finished last December 2018 and was a complete studs out renovation of the first and second floors; including a full kitchen remodel, two fully renovated bathrooms, rebuilding the stairs to current code, and the addition of a new dormer to add square footage and head height to the second floor. Phase II was completed in October of this year and was fully finishing out the basement; including a new bathroom and laundry room, converting one space into a legal bedroom, and waterproofing and plumbing improvements. When we started the process I was specifically looking for a firm that would respect the historic nature and details of the property while simultaneously being able to bring it into the 21st century. After interviewing several companies, we settled on Carlisle. I was impressed with their book of work on Houzz as well as their approach to the process. They also had a good book of referral partners and through their recommendations I also found an architect and a designer to work with on our project. It was a collaborative process from the beginning with Peter our Project Manager and John our Site Supervisor. Being an older home there were some definite quirks to overcome and some challenges with the permitting process, they rose to the task and solved problems as they came up. I wanted to preserve my existing original stained glass windows, but somehow make them more energy efficient. Peter found a great solution with new window units using the original stained glass as decorative ‘art glass’ on the interior. They were also receptive to the changes we made during the process to keep more of the historic charm intact; which is what drew us to the home in the first place. More than anything I was impressed with the fact that they treated the home as if it was their own and their attention to smallest details…it’s hard to tell what the original woodwork is and what is the new recreated to match the old. The whole process was well managed with weekly meetings and the utilization of the online tool BuilderTrend; I never felt in the dark or left out in any stage of the remodel.

The Carlisle crew was great to work with - from the project manager to each team that came in. They were friendly, showed up on time, kept things as clean as possible and - most importantly - did really great work. This is our first remodel using a contractor - many people have nightmare stories to tell after a project like ours, but we only have praise for CCH - they were great to work with from start to finish.

We used Carlisle Classic Homes to install Indow sound proof windows, not once, but 3 times! The windows made a huge difference in our house (as we live right by the freeway) and we couldn't by any happier. The overall process from Brian was very professional and the installation went very smoothly and timely. Our family definitely recommends Carlisle Homes for anyone looking for their services!

We interviewed 5 top-ranked general contractors for the complete gut/remodel of our condo. Peter Butler, a project manager with Carlisle Classic Homes, was the last person we met with, and we immediately knew we wanted to work with Carlisle. Peter was a great listener regarding our ideas, but he also was straightforward about the challenges of working in a condo building and how we could best manage our budget. He was gracious and honest, and we trusted him implicitly. After signing Carlisle, we went through a long design phase as we determined how to work around some of the issues with the building, and Peter guided us through this process patiently and ably. Once we began construction, Eric Davis was our site superintendent and was the penultimate professional. He was flexible and kind, had a keen attention to detail, put care into all the details that create a beautiful home, and ensured subcontractors were doing the same. He also worked well within the very strict construction rules outlined by our homeowner’s association. Beyond their beautiful craftsmanship, Carlisle was very responsive and kept all their commitments. We had weekly meetings to review progress, and they would make adjustments to the plans along the way when necessary. They were also very organized---they utilized a website where our plans, finishing specs, in-progress photos, schedules, communications and in-progress actuals against our budget were housed. We always had a clear overview and record of the project. The Carlisle team is very special. We were thrilled when our home was complete, but we were also sad to say goodbye to wonderful people who helped us create it.

We have experience in building or remodeling a total of 10 times. Because of our past building experience (as owners, not builders) we tend to be the picky, hovering types with lots of questions & suggestions. Additionally we lived on site in a tiny area during 80% of the work. This was the most complicated & expensive project per square foot and yet one of the smoothest. One of the remarkable things about CCH is how good their employees are -- both at their craft and in dealing with the client. Rob, the principal, was involved with initial discussion / negotiations, but once the nails started to fly, he turned it all over to his capable staff. Offsite supervisor and onsite crew were consistent, considerate, capable, approachable, reachable... They took everything we threw their way seriously - and with a sense of humor when appropriate - and never missed a beat! Pretty much the same for most of their subs as well. A total of 8 months was needed to complete the project. They started on schedule and finished a mere 1 week behind schedule despite a few unforeseen things. That too is remarkable considering this was done during the summer of 2017 when contractors were deluged with work. It has been a 11 months since completion and the only call back we have needed was for some paint touch up and skylight leak, all which was covered under warranty. CCH was not the least expensive, but we feel like we got our money's worth. Thanks Rob & crew for a great job!

My idea of a great company is one that provides excellent service, on time, within budget ---working in partnership with the customer at all times. Carlisle is just this type of company.... high standards, great communication, doing it right and making it right, standing behind their work, and developing a partnership and relationship that stands the test of time. We genuinely like the folks who work at Carlisle, respect the culture of the company (great community citizenship), admire their professionalism, and actually enjoy having them around despite the disruption of any home project. Sixteen month project that transformed the original 1950's house into our dream home situated on a beautiful piece of Lake Washington waterfront. Project included permits, design (H2D Architecture + Design), engineering, ground stabilization, whole house renovation (Carlisle Classic Homes) and landscaping. Excellent vision - design - build collaboration throughout the process. Carlisle Classic Homes met our expectations for quality, responsiveness, communication, safety, and knowledge. Carlisle selected sub-contractors were equally professional and responsive to our needs during the build process. Carlisle stands behind their work and provides timely response to issues or concerns during the build process and after occupancy. We would hire Carlisle Classic Homes again.

On time, on budget, high quality work and great guys to work with. Not cheap but we got what we paid for and are 100% happy.

This was an amazing experience from the beginning to the end. Brian came out to the house, assessed our needs, discussed production options and arranged a time to install our Indows which worked with our schedule. We live in Capitol Hill in Seattle and were looking for a product which would deliver both energy efficiency and substantially dampen traffic and airplane noise. This is a great solution which looks great and won't break the bank. However, the best part was the service which came with it. Brian and his team installed our Indows to our specifications, even customizing our existing blinds to make the fit even better. The best part of the process was how concerned Brian and his team were. If you're looking for a cost effective energy efficiency or noise solution (or both), I would not hesitate to reach out to Carlisle and Brain!

Given the scope of project, we feared getting overwhelmed by all the details, but from our first planning meetings with Carlisle, through the entire project, the process went very smoothly! Carlisle staff we worked with (Project managers Kevin Krumdiack & Alex Adolfi, Site superintendent Mark Clark) were incredibly patient, professional and experienced in guiding us through the entire project. They were always attentive to our questions, concerns and suggestions, which made the entire effort very collaborative. Communications were always timely and informative. They offered a lot of advice and suggestions on the details we had not considered that improved the finished product beyond what we could have imagined. Everyone who worked on the project were friendly, professional, and incredibly talented craftsmen. Their online web portal to manage project, payments, communications, change orders etc. was very useful through entire 9 month project. The work Carlisle and their talented subcontractors performed exceeded our expectations. Highest recommendation!

Worked with Brian from start to finish for this project. He was easy to work with and knowledgeable. The Indow product works as advertised, but do your homework first, as there are many other ways air/noise can get in from the outside than via windows.

It went very well. Brian came to our house and measured the existing windows. He described the various window options available and pick up / delivery options. I chose to pick up the window inserts once they were ready. Brian gave me a clear demo of how best to install the Indows along with tips and tricks to getting the best fit. It was very helpful and made the whole process good.

This was by far the best experience we have ever had with a general contractor. We were out of the country during the entire construction process. We just turned the house over to Carlisle and they took care of everything! The project was completed on time and significantly under budget. Perhaps most importantly, we were extremely impressed with the professionalism and sensitivity of those from Carlisle with whom we worked. They listened carefully to our initial thoughts regarding the scope of work, and they provided constructive suggestions which reduced our final costs and enhance the quality and attractiveness of the outcome. Every aspect of this project was completed to our total satisfaction.

Our home is a lodge-style home in a wooded area of Woodinville and Rob/Alex and their team built our home to perfection. CCH is extremely detail orientated and took no short cuts on anything. When questions arose, they were very responsive and detail-orientated in explaining the process, potential options, and what they recommended as the best plan. Every person that walked on our job site (including the CCH Superintendent, CCH employees, and subs) was professional and demonstrated a high level of expertise leading to an amazing finished product.
