Our Seattle movers offer complete moving services that range from packing up the utensils in your kitchen to moving your grand piano down four flights of stairs. We have all the required tools for your move such as dollies, furniture pads and straps. When we quote a price, the price is for all services included in your move and we never come up with extra charges you did not know about at the end. We think being upfront and honest is the only way to do business and maintain success on a long-term basis.
We are convinced, a major contributor to our success is making sure we stay hands on and involved with everything that happens. In fact, if you call one of our locations or stop by one of our offices, the chances are very good you will be dealing with one of the owners of Can’t Stop Moving.

I actually hired these guys for two different moves. I had everything packed myself, so they just needed to load up their trucks. They had two trucks and 4 guys. They did a great job in taking care of all the stuff and wrapping up some of the bigger fragile stuff in blankets and was able to load up the trucks and get them unloaded in an acceptable amount of time. On the 2nd move that I had these guys come and do was on a 90+ day and all I can say is we were happy we weren't doing all the heavy lifting and moving. They did just as great a job on the 2nd move I used them for and the heat did slow them down a little after awhile, but they still did a great job and put things were we needed them to go. (it helped we had the boxes labeled too). I hope I never have to move again, but if I do, I would definitely use these guys again.

They were responsive via email. They came out and examined our condo and provided an estimate. Scheduling our move with them was easy. On the day of the move, they called to let me know they'd be half an hour late. They were courteous and packed everything efficiently. When they realized they were falling behind schedule (we had a _lot_ of stuff) they sent out an extra guy and additional boxes. All but our refrigerator fit on the truck, and the movers went back for it. Everything took a little bit longer than the estimate, but still came in at about what the estimate was costed. Overall we were very happy with our move.

The movers were not just prompt, they were early. They were very flexible about the fact that I changed my mind about what I wanted to move on the spot. They were very fast and very efficient. They really don't stop moving. They asked me questions and didn't make any assumptions, which I really appreciated. Overall it was a very good experience.

For years on end I've used friends to haul all my stuff whenever I moved, but decided to finally pony up for a moving service. After reading reviews on these guys from different sites, decided to go with them. Their estimate was within my budget, and also at the end of the day, pretty dead-on in terms of their time estimate in getting work done. The movers arrived and after a brief 2 minute rundown of what was needed, proceeded to go to work, and did not stop for a second after they started. Hard working crew, communicated well with each other as well as with me and my fiance, and got the job done without incident! Even helped us re-arrange some furniture after the move! They were great to work with, and very friendly. I appreciated all their hard work, friendly attitude, and all their professionalism! If I decide to move again (which is hopefully NOWHERE CLOSE to soon), I will definitely call these guys up again!

They sent a 3 man crew with a 20' rental truck (enterprise). The wife and baby were out of the house for the move and the pets were secured in their own space. After a quick walk through of the space they got to work. They were always working at a constant quick efficient pace. That said, they were friendly and chatty but again, not at the expense of getting the work done. When there was a question, they asked; they didn't assume. On the unloading end they had more questions to make sure things got where we wanted them to go. The one thing that didn't happen was any sort of set up. That is, while they shrink wrapped the empty dressers for the move they didn't unwrap them. I'm sure they would have if asked. Similarly, they didn't re-seat the glass for my computer desk which they had removed to keep safe. Again, I'm sure they would have if I had asked but I was watching the clock. I had several valuables to move including a 3' x 3' expensive painting. All I had to do was show them the pieces I was concerned about and they took extra care to safeguard them for the trip. Nothing broken, nothing lost, nothing damaged.
Description of Work: We moved from a single story house to a 3 story town home. We did all the boxing so all they had to contend with was the furniture. I borrowed their tools to break down the baby's crib while they started on the boxes but that was the only item that required being taken apart.

My initial communication with CSM was pleasant and professional. Alex responded to my request for information quickly and we scheduled a time for him to come view my home to provide an estimate. The home visit was fast but thorough and I felt comfortable with Alex in my home. He provided me a verbal estimate which was followed by a written estimate by email. Alex explained that because CSM charges by the hour, the final price would vary based on any unforeseen obstacles (such as traffic). However we agreed on a maximum price of $2000. In the weeks before the move I had a few questions which I emailed Alex about and he always responded promptly. On the day of the move. the moving team called ahead to let me know they would be a few minutes late. And they arrived within the revised time-frame. We had some stuff that was staying at the condo because we are renting it out. The movers listened carefully to my instructions and followed them perfectly as they dove into loading the truck. Alex showed up a little while later to help. The three of them where amazing as they carried 5 boxes at a time up the stairs! They were friendly and joking with each other and with me, but that did not slow them down one bit. They loaded the whole condo and the storage room in three hours. In Spokane, they had arranged for two helpers to assist with the unload. With their help the unload was completed in about an hour. The Spokane helpers were not as careful with our things as the movers from CSM and a few of our items were scuffed against walls and the banister. These were minor, this is why I gave a B (good) rating for quality, though I'd rather rate them A-. When it came time to pay the cost came in under Alex's estimate of $1600. We received a 10% discount for having found CSM on Angie's List. CSM charges a 5% fee for credit card transactions. They were able to process our card by calling back to their office. Overall we were very happy with CSM. We will be recommending them to our friend who will be renting our condo from us for her upcoming in-town move.

I re-sceduled the move date 3 times as my closing date was continually in flux. Eric and Alex responded promptly and rescheduled with no hassles. They arrived on time and worked well together, respectful of the historic buildings we were moving out of and into. I was pleased with Can't Stop Moving's perfromance at every level, however the 4-6 hour estimate failed to account for the additional time it took to share the building elevator, and to walk items a distance to load in the alley. The guys worked hard the whole time but 4-6 hours quickly became 9-10 hours to complete, It would have helped to meet the time estimate if we had included a fourth mover. I highly recommend a frank discussion of the time it might take to get in an out of apartment complexes in advance of your move-- particularly if the mover will need to park in an alley and carry items to and from elevator (sometimes at both the pickup and drop off locations). That said, I would use these guys again anytime! Very professional.

Overall it went well. The team showed up on time; early in fact, and got right to work. They were friendly and helpful as we were still closing boxes as they arrived. They assisted in taking apart the beds and other necessary furniture in order to fit out the door. They also assisted in the final bit of packing although we had about 90% or so all done when they showed. The boxes disappeared like magic they were so fast. We had slightly more stuff than their truck could hold so they had to make two trips. This wasn't a big deal since we were only going about a mile and a half or so across town. When the first load arrived at the new place, I showed them around so it was understood where everything went. Each box had a bold, store bought label on it saying which room it went for simplicity; no label meant garage. I also escorted each piece of furniture inside and had them place it where we wanted it. This was great. However, even with our simple labeling system, we discovered later that all the boxes didn't make it to the designated locations. This was a bit frustrating for us when it came time to unpack in the following days. A treasure hunt ensued for some misplaced boxes later. This is where I think speed of work may have been at the expense of quality of work and following directions. A small issue all things considered but still important once it came time to unpack. Happily nothing was broken except the door hinge on our printer. The printer still works but the door won't stay in the up position without coming off completely. We accept some of the blame for that one too since the printer was not in a box and it was loaded "naked". Not a huge deal here either since it still functions; just another little thing. The worst part though with the move was toward the end when one of the movers cut himself on a wall mirror while unloading it from the truck. It wasn't mounted so it had sharp corners on it. It was a bad cut and needed stitches. I felt bad for the guy but he said it wasn't painful. However, he could not move anything else the rest of the day. My wife patched him up pretty good; enough to carry him until he got to the emergency room for stitches. After that the other movers really kicked it into high gear so they could finish and take the guy to the emergency room. Due to that they weren't able to stay and reassemble the furniture that was taken apart. The owner of the company agreed to return the next day to assemble and place the furniture. He helped me set up all our office furniture in the places my wife designated. I was thankful since it would have been hard to do myself. That was a nice touch to make sure the job didn't go unfinished. We understood the circumstances and were okay with it. Accidents do happen. I still tend to think that maybe they were working a bit too fast. Maybe if they slowed the pace just a little, the mover wouldn't have been cut, the printer door wouldn't have broke, and the boxes would have been placed where they were supposed to as labeled. I realize this is a by the hour job and they are trying to be sensitive to that for the customer and not run up the bill. This is appreciated. However a balance has to be maintained between efficiency and quality. I for one do not mind paying a little bit more if the job is done perfectly. In the end the job was done and we were satisfied. We gave them a nice gratuity on top of their fee for their business.

Excellent move. On time, well done, and these guys were willing to move the furniture a couple of times till we had it in the "right room". They managed some gnarly back stairs and getting large pieces down a narrow stairway to the finished basement with no dings.
Description of Work: Can't Stop Moving is awesome. These guys have moved us several times from two apartments, now finally long distance from Oregon to Seattle to our new home. The are careful, professional, courteous, and haven't ever mishandled anything. I got a response to my on-line form submission right away: my stuff would take about 2 hours to move, which is their minimum. I had a couple of other questions to revise my initial estimate. CSM was always quick and friendly to reply. I boxed up everything I could on CSM's recommendation: anything they have to box up keeps the clock running longer. On my moving day, a balmy Saturday, I got a call from CSM that they were running early so they ended up at my apartment about 30 minutes _before_ their initial start time. They worked quickly to move my boxes and furniture into the truck, then met me at my new place and worked with me to move everything into place. They were professional and efficient the whole time and they finished right on time. CSM bills a travel charge of half the time taken to drive to and from Bellevue, but the cash discount they offered cancelled that out. Overall I am very happy with the service I got from CSM. I've been unpacking my stuff and it's in great shape. I would definitely recommend them for anyone who can do the packing and boxing ahead of time.

Can't say enough good comments about them. They answered email and questions quickly during booking. The three guys helped us move were polite, professional, efficient and upbeat, which help ease a lot of moving related stress. There might be other moving company with $10 or so lower hourly rate, but their efficiency will beat any other companies on the total value.
Description of Work: Moved from a 2 bedrooms appartement in Bothell to Seattle. We have about 30 boxes plus furniture and even need to move a couch from balcony with rope. All these only took 3 hours to complete (including driving to the new place). They do charge a bit extra for hoisting the couch ($75) but the charge is very reasonable considering they have to lower the couch thru a 3rd floor balcony. The total charge came to $410 after discount and we gave them $60 tip. Their service exceeded my expectation and I would recommend them to anyone I know.

These guys were amazing! They're friendly, professional and, man do they work hard! They obviously know what they're doing -- they were fast, efficient and the coordination amongst the 3 of them was fantastic. And soooo careful! They did not nick or scratch a single wall (in either house) or item in the entire move. They made moving day completely stress free. We were so impressed we tipped them 20% and bought pizza for lucnh. Highly recommend!

Eric from Can't Stop Moving was 1 of only 2 who actually came out to visually assess the contents of the house before giving an estimate. Surprisingly, Eric's estimate was $1000 lower than the other company who came in person (but similar to others who gave estimates over the phone/online). I liked Eric when I met him and appreciated the fact that they had 100% positive reviews so I went with them. So glad I did!

I first contacted them through email and they were very responsive, within 24 hours for each email. The estimate was thorough and included all charges and incidentals that could occur. They arrived within fifteen minutes of scheduled appointment, were very professional and nice, and handled all of our stuff with care. They actually did the entire move in an hour less than the estimated four hours, so I paid less than expected. These guys were great and I would definitely use them again and have already recommended them to a friend.

They are fast! GREAT group of guys, Ryan, Jesse and Eric. If I had one complaint it would be that they ruined a couple of original boxes that I had kept so that the items could be repacked into those, but overall I would use them again! In fact, I have told two people at work about them already. They are patient, efficent and don't waste your time. Unlike other moving companies where they don't care that you are paying them by the hour. They get it done! No mess no fuss!
Description of Work: Eric first came out to do an estimate and it was a pretty fast estimate, but he said it would be 7 hours total for full packing and delivery. Now mind you I had requested him to pack and load my apartment, stop at my office to load items, deliver them to my new destination, then put some things in storage. He showed up with two other guys on move day and they immediately got to worked. Of course, I wasn't as prepared as I should have been and they didn't even blink. They were right on schedule didn't mess around and even after the last destination at the last minute we asked them to do one more close by and that was to deliver some things that weren't going to fit in the house to donate. They said they would!

Eric came out to give me a bid in person. He was very professional. He said he would email me his estimate and he didn't, so slight downgrade on responsiveness. He told me one truck and 3 movers would be enough, yet they did have to make a 2nd trip back to the house before going to the storage unit, but it wasn't a big deal since all 3 locations were very close. The movers, Dwight, Drew, and Jesse were awesome - very courteous, professional, efficient, and careful. Nice, upbeat, pleasant guys to be around. It was actually a fun day believe it or not, since moving can be mega stressful. I would totally recommend this company to anyone and we plan on using them again in the near future since we've moved to a temporary rental while we continue to search for a home to buy. Ryan, Dwight, and James were the best movers I've ever had. I don't say this lightly; I've had seven big moves to date and hope this is the last one until I retire. All three guys were mature, professional, polite - and extremely careful with the furniture (I have lots of older wood pieces). They had to navigate a difficult staircase to move two beds and other furniture. They didn't damage the furniture or the walls through all of this. I used my Angie's List discount so the cost was reasonable - and I tipped them well because of this and because they exceeded my expectations in terms of their skills and professionalism.

Great experience. They ran a little late but called to let us know. The packing and moving went without a glitch, they were courteous and patient especially when packing the garage, which was a big headache, and when we changed our mind about where we wanted things in the new house. Nothing was damaged. The evaluation visit was also a plus, because we got a team of 4 people who finished the work in a decent amount of time. (Other companies did the eval over the phone and would have sent 2 people...). And with the Angie's list and cash discounts (20% total), it was a very good deal.
