Monty communicated with the door company to make sure the the correct doors get ordered. He picked up and delivered the doors to my home, and together with his nephew installed the doors in half a day. The two left the site with all debris cleaned up and the doors in working condition. The job did not come cheap, though. $1,300 for half a days wok for two seems steep.

Monty recently installed several exterior doors for us. He was a bit hard to get in touch with because he is so busy, but he does great work. We will definitely seek his help with other projects in the future.

I was recommended to Monte Burnham (Burhman Builders, Lake Forest Park, WA) from Frank's Lumber, The Door Store in Shoreline, WA. From my first contact by phone to Monte to the finishing touches on our doors, the job went very well for me. Monte gave me an estimate soon after looking at my house. He kept with his estimate even though it turned out, my closet doors took much longer to install because my home was a Grecean built home and nothing was (or is) plumed. (We are the only owners of our 30 year old home.) All our interior doors were replaced, including the fire door to the garage, which was increased in size (so moving furniture into the house is much easier). I was the and quot;quality control inspectorand quot; and every little thing I had a question on, Monte looked at and fixed immediately. He was delightful to have working in our home. When he completed this project (which took an unexpected entire extra day), my garage floor never looked so clean. He vacumed everywhere he worked and hauled away all the construction debris. Added Note: Less than a year later I have tried to contact this service provider and have had one phone conversation about something that needs to be corrected from the work they did and since that time he will not return any of my phone calls.

We discovered Monty (a.k.a. Burnham Builders) on "The Door Store" list of door installers. He was responsive from the start. Came out, gave an estimate, and helped us coordinate having the door stained and painted. During the install, there was a problem with how he installed the screen door, but the true test of a contractor is how they handle a situation when there is a problem, and in this regard, Monty was outstanding. He quickly admitted his error, took responsibility for getting us a new screen door, had it painted, and installed the replacement as fast as possible. We were so impressed that a year later we hired him to replace an interior window. He did a great job with that project, too. We also recommended him to a friend who used Monty to install his new doors. He was also pleased with Monty's work. Overall, I would highly recommend him.

Excellent. In fact, I chose a door and changed my mind on it and went back to the door store to select the one I finally decided on. When Monty picked up the door and brought it to my house to install, it wasn't the correct door. The door store made an error and did not have the correct door waiting. Monty not only did a superb job of installing the door in a timely fashion, cleaned up the mess etc., but he also personally handled the problem with the door store for me, by traveling back to the store and pointing out the error for me, so that I didn't have to return to the store myself, and I just thought that was wonderful. He saved me so much time and anxiety.
