Brennan Heating & Air Conditioning

We thought we would replace our furnace before last winter so we had 2 companies give us bids. Brennan was super to deal with from start to finish. Ryan came out to show us the models, ratings and prices of furnaces, and he told us what needed to be done depending upon which furnace we chose. We opted for the high-end model (96% efficiency). We mentioned that we are members of Costco, and since Brennan is associated with them as a vendor we got a rebate from Costco. The crew showed up right on time, took out the old furnace and began to work on installing the new one. The lead guy was very nice and knew exactly what he was doing. Because of the model we chose, a vent pipe was installed from the furnace to the outside of the house. The lead man went outside with us to discuss where the pipes would be and if that was agreeable with us. The crew cleaned up thoroughly, and the job was done in about 3-4 hours. We were told exactly how to operate the furnace, and any questions we had were knowledgeably answered. We would definitely deal with Brennan in the future and have no hesitation in recommending them.

They did not put a new filter in it. It is like we paid him money to come quote us on a new furnace. He was a pleasant guy and very nice. It was too high of a price. It took him a long time, it took him 5 weeks to get out here.

Installed a Lennox ductless mini-split system, MS7- air conditioner/heat pump. The salesman at Costco was knowledgable and set up an appointment with Brennan. The salesman that came out answered our all our questions about how this system would operate. The team that came out to install the outdoor unit and indoor unit, were knowledgeable and a great team. I just wish they had spent a little more time on the remote control, the manual was a little confusing. Our son explained the difference between auto and manual control and why we wanted to use manual in our region. The heating portion is working great. Need to wait for our hot summer days to see how the A/C performs. Rebate from PUD will help lower the overall cost.

It had been several years since we had any maintenance work done on our furnace or air conditioner. In the past, we used another company (the same company that installed our furnace & A/C 15 years ago). The last time they did service, they used what I felt were scare tactics to get us to buy an entire new furnace. While we had purchased it from them, they would not provide any discounts on equipment or service because the company was now under new ownership. I felt they were being less than honest and as a result, I searched Angie's List for another furnace company. I found Brennan Heating and Air Conditioning on Angie's List. While I was amazed, and a little sceptical, at the number of positive reviews they had, I decided to have them work on our furnace. John Bonk was the service technician. He was on time, he knew what he was doing, and he kept me informed as he did his maintenance. He recommended an igniter flame sensor, which we had him do. He also said we needed a heat exchanger and blower motor. The heat exchanger was showing signs of cracking, and the blower motor was making noise on startup. John said it wasn't an immediate issue, but we probably want to get it fixed before the next heating season comes in the fall. I felt John was honest, that he did the general maintenance we asked for, and he wasn't out for a commission on problems he could come up with. I will use Brennan Heating again.

Angie's List recommendation and we purchased an Angie's List deal for cleaning. The employee for Brennan heating was professional, on time and called to let us know they were on their way. Highly recommend them for servicing your hvac equipment.

Sever person showed up on time and completed the job as expected, He took the time to show how to properly clean the filter.

Our existing furnace gave up the ghost in the middle of a cold snap. We called Brennan based on the Angie's List reviews, and they came out the following morning. The technician didn't take long to diagnose the problem, and based on the age of the furnace and the seriousness of the issue, it turned out to be a much wiser and more cost-effective choice to replace it than to attempt the repair. The install team came out and installed the new furnace within a day or two, and even ironed out a couple of apparently pre-existing issues with the venting that they discovered along the way. The new furnace is terrific -- a vast improvement over what we had both in terms of performance and energy efficiency. We couldn't be happier with it. I'd also note that the professionalism of the Brennan technicians was above and beyond -- they were incredibly helpful and conscientious, and went the extra mile to work around our schedules. We absolutely would use them again.

We used them through a big deal on Angie's List. We needed it badly because we had an electrical storm that fried our old one. They were right up front with everything. They didn’t leave anything out or do any add-ons, which we really appreciated. They did their best to get us discounts and to make sure that we would have tax deduction, because it was a large purchase. They did everything they could to see if we were eligible for it. It turned out that we weren’t, but we really appreciated their effort. They did a really quick job of installing. They were great. They were right on time. We would absolutely use them again in the future.

He diagnosed the problem quickly and had it fixed in less than 30 minutes.

Steve arrived on time, was very professional and listened closely to our request. He emailed the estimate within a couple of days after his visit. The job entails running new duct work, new gas line, electrical, etc. about 20 feet to a different part of the house. Steve explained a couple of things that are quite relevant to the overall job that others did not, which we certainly appreciated. The price is fair and in line with others, but his professionalism and the delivery of the estimate will win our business. We're not quite ready for it, but will definitely call them when we are.

A purchase of the "big deal" furnace cleaning, led to a quick phone call/appointment. The service provider was 15 minutes early, knowledgable in his field, and professional.

Brennan Heating A/C installed the heat pump I purchased from Costco. I was in a bind because my old heat heat pump died on me and I got a quote from the people who put that in and it was a little high, we we went to Costco and they lined me up with Brennan and they gave me a better estimate. It was like a week later that they came in and replaced it in one day. Pretty good. We had a last minute shuffle because of the permit but that wasn't their fault. It's sort of their fault, the guy came to inspect it from them, they said I didn't need the permit and then they ended with they do need the permit so we had to get the permit.

The installers were actually early, which was great for me and they were very quick & efficient. No issues at all. When they completed the installation they explained all that they had done, how to & how often to change the filter, and how to use the thermostat. They left all of the manuals and information with me, made sure I had no further questions, cleaned up & went on their way. The furnace has been working beautifully for over a week now and I have been able to use the thermostat control panel to schedule wake, leave, home & sleep times for various days throughout the week. I love it and am very happy with the process. I have been told that I paid more than I would have if I'd used a smaller company, which is probably true. However with the time crunch I was in & for such an important purchase I am ok with that, knowing that it was done right and I can always go back to them if I need anything.

The installation of the Gas Water heater was great from start to finish. They installed a New Water Heater with a new stand, expansion tank and earthquake straps. The entire process took approx. 1 1/2 hours.

Adam came out. He seems very knowledgeable and professional. He told us we had a 30-40 yr old gas furnace, basic but seemed to be working OK. Recommended new filters, which I purchased and replaced. He didn't try to sell us any other service. Overall a quick and pleasant service call

The purchase and installation went well. We exchanged several e-mails to get everything clear with respect to the proposal, but there was never any disagreement on what was included. Just some of the details were not spelled out correctly in the Proposal, which I had to catch. In my rating, I dinged the quality down just a bit. The new furnace, not top of the line, is a bit noisy at certain times and we can hear it through the wall of the garage. Minor nuisance. Overall, the removal and installation of the new furnace was a postive experience and I would certainily recommend Brennan Heating and Air Conditioning and especially taking advantage of Angie's list specials. I felt I got a good value with the product, service and installation..

When faced with needing to replace our current heating system (gas stove) we took the opportunity to consult some experts about other heating solutions for our home that would be better than the funky setup we've been living with. Had two Heating/AC assessments and bids, one of which was Brennan. Brennan's excellent reviews on Angies List were the reason we called them in the first place. From the beginning, when we met with Paul from Brennan sales, we had a good feeling about the company, from Paul's friendliness, practical advice, and the inclusive and well priced bid that beat the other proposal we had received. It made a difference for us, too, that Brennan has electricians on staff who are part of the installation team; the other bid used an outside electrical contractor. Also Brennan's Angies List discount was a nice bonus. I also appreciated that Paul took the time to examine other possibilities, other than the heat pump, for our situation -- we talked about a traditional ducted furnace system, but all of us could see that was the less practical approach and the heat pump would be a good choice -- not only would we finally get heat both upstairs and downstairs, but it will double as an air conditioner in the summer! The best part of our experience with Brennan was the work done by the two-person installation team -- Jason, the head installer, and Tyler, the staff electrician. What great guys! Friendly, knowledgeable and really hard working, as well as a good team -- it was great to watch them work together. They put in almost a 12 hour day to get it all done and were just as friendly and helpful at the end of their long day of work, as they were when they arrived that morning. They cleaned everything up so well that we could hardly tell they had been there, except for our new heating system which we are enjoying immensely so far. We're very pleased with this experience and will definitely be working with Brennan again for our future maintenance and other needs. Great job Brennan team!

I tried to contact them over the past few months and kept having to reschedule. I ended up having another company come and replace my water heater. The woman I spoke with was very professional and informed me to contact Angie's List for a refund.

the young man, Cary, who did the work was an absolute delight. He was prompt, polite, professional and patient with all my questions. i could not be more pleased with how i was treated, and the work that was done. i am now enjoying the warmth and full function of my furnace, thanks to this young man's diligence, integrity and knowledge. I would highly recomend him and the company he works for, Brennan's, with complete confidence and trust.

As expected. Told us we would probably need to replace furnace in the future but for now, working fine

We selected Brennan primarily because of the excellent work performed on another property.The sales rep provided sufficient information for us to make a furnace selection without attempting to upsell us into more than was needed. The installation crew was on time and cleaned up after the work. One of the two men was an apprentice so the job took a little longer. They tested the units and walked us through operation details. A city inspection is required to verify the quality of the installation; the inspector commented on the consistent quality of the workmanship by Brennan. Needless to say, the work passed inspection. The appliances are functioning well, the furnace is much quieter than our old unit.

John arrived within the appointment time scheduled. He cleaned and did maintenance for us the last couple of years. It's nice to see a familiar face and remembers the clients. He was thorough and did a good job
