Brennan Heating & Air Conditioning

Person told us all sorts of things needed to be done and replaced. Checked this out with my provider of 20 years and it certainly was not true. We are seniors and don't need these kinds of alarms.

It was fine. My air conditioning has stopped working and we din't know why, so we have them come out and checked it out.

They came out about a week after I purchased that. They charged me $80 for the igniter. They were pretty quick. I would use them again.

Provider arrived 10 minutes before the scheduled appointment time, which was great. Very cordial and polite, neatly dressed, responsive to questions and requests. Left the area he worked in spotless. Was finished with job promptly.

The furnace guy came and cleaned my furnace.

we didn't want his service.He came and said to do both the inside nd the outside element would cost twice as much.On the phone they said that the heat pump part of my furnace was included...When he got here and I found that out I told him go home

I bought two Big Deals, one for the furnace and one for the A/C. Brennan arrived on early in the scheduled window of time. They called prior to arriving. They did the work quickly and efficiently and did not charge anything extra. I'll use Brennan again for all my HVAC needs.

They were informative and really checked out the system and said it is working fine and showed me how to filter works and it was kind of a quick call. I found out what I needed and they checked what I wanted them to check and it was great. I would use them again in the future.

Well. Service man was professional, courteous and informative. Only two small downsides: They were about an hour later, outside of the stated window of time they would be there. Ahead of time I wasn't aware that this was mostly for gas water heater maintenance. Not much to be done on an electric water heater outside or checking the heating elements and making recommendation on when to replace. Not a big deal though.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. They just did a straightforward service check.

As soon as I bought the Big Deal they contacted me pretty quickly. I was able to schedule an appointment within a week. They showed up on time and did the work very quickly. They installed a new thermostat and took the time to explain how to use it. When they completed the project they gave me a quick run down of what was done and everything looked ok on the outside. However, I looked inside after they left and they did a very poor job. 1. They left sharp edges where they cut the duct work which I filed down. 2. They just jammed the filter in the duct and it was folded over so it would probably only filter 60% of the opening. I built and installed my own filter holder and bought different size filters to fix this problem. 3. They didn't seal the duct work adequately so more air would be pulled in from the downstream side of the filter. I also fixed this myself. 4. They also left the internal duct lining that was cut siting in the duct and left some bits of sheet metal which I also had to clean up myself.

Everything went well with the service.

The Brennan technicians and office staff were very professional and helpful. They provided 6 months 0% financing, discounted the cost by the amount of my previous service charge in May, and gave a $300 Angie's List discount. It was an easy an pleasant experience.

They were very professional and did a great job. I will use them again.

They talked us into getting an allergy free system, but I don't feel that it works because my allergies are still the same.

Quote and install both went great, everyone was on-time and it works well. Price was very reasonable and people were very nice.

All was performed as expected. He drained the water from the water heater and showed me the rust and dirt that was coming out into the bathtub. He also did some other tests and replaced the intake filter. I asked a number of questions and he answered my questions thoroughly and in a way that made sense to me. He said I need a new water heater, explained the reasons, and gave me a written quote for a replacement ($1,100). I'm going to think about when to get that done, and will do more research to decide if I want to use Brennan for that job.

The guy came early, which was very good. He did the job very fast and was very professional. He told me some things that should be fixed down the line. I would recommend him again.

Excellent, spent lots of time. We had just had wood floors installed and the filters and furnace were dirty.

Arrived on time, completed job but did not set temperature back to original (minor issue). Good job efficiently done.

They were great. Came out and did exactly what we needed done. They also noticed something about how the installation of the system (done two years prior by a different company) had been done incorrectly. They pointed it out to us, it made a ton of sense, and we had them fix it. The cost was totally reasonable. All in all we were impressed and thankful.

Brennan Heating & Air Conditioning quote was about $4300. Recently on the Angie's List website, they advertised this deal that if they would put an eighty type furnace rating to install and take out. Then, I didn't want that one but that was the eye opener to get me to take a look at what they were going to offer. What they did was when they got here, I told them that they realized that that $1800 was a steal but I thought that the furnace was kind of outdated. We can push up to the next level. The next type of furnace that I want was what they were advertising. I believe it was the same, exact furnace that I got from another company. They tried to up-sell me. I told them during the process that the estimate was way out of my price range. We go from $1800 to $4300, that's a big jump as far as I'm concerned. I said "Can we find something like the middle ground here where you have another furnace?" and they said "Nope, that's basically it." I said "We're done." There was nothing else to talk about. He was very pushy about the ratings that he got. I did not like it. He tried to intimidate me. I didn't feel good about the experience. There is no way I would use them again in the future.

Although everything is working great, the installers were not very careful and the finished product, although not in the open, looks less than professional.

The tech was on time and worked quickly and diligently. This was the second time I used Brennan - first was to inspect the furnace. The same tech did both jobs, and I appreciated his familiarity with my appliances. My only advice is to have your techs wear shoe covers when entering the house.

The repairman discovered a part which had worn out and successfuly replaced the part. He was professional and courtious as he accomplished the task. I was very favorably impressed with this service.
