Brennan Heating & Air Conditioning

I had called out Brennan Heating to inspect and service my furnace. They were extremely prompt on getting out to service the furnace, but they found that the furnace actually needed to be replaced. They were great in that they didn't charge to come out fo the cleaning, and I purchased the big deal with them which was to replace the current furnace with a new 80% lenox furnace. They came out the next day and installed the new furnace. they did a great job getting the new furnace (which was much smaller) to fit the old mechanicals and did great getting the old furnace out and clean. I would absolutely use them again.

They were very good. They came by to service the old water heater and he said that it's pretty close to the end of its life. We are not in our house a lot and he said that we could probably get another year out of it, but he recommended that for $300 we can get a new water heater and it will be more efficient. The guy came on time and he showed up when he was supposed to. He was really professional, courteous and knowledgeable and really nice. He even had information on new systems as well to look at. He scheduled the appointment to accommodate me and when the installation guys came, they were superb. They were polite, clean and just great guys. Actually we ended up using Brennan Heating through Costco when we needed a new furnace last week. So I knew these guys know what they are doing. They are just professional. I felt comfortable having them in my home.

It went smoothly. I think they did what they were suppose to do but I thought the flushing out would be with some kind of pump or something but instead they used a hose. He said they didn't need to drain out all of it because the water would show sediments if there were any but there weren't so he refilled it. I wanted my water heater to be checked on before winter.

The gentleman who came here to replace our leaking hot water heater was prompt, professional and found a pipe that was almost rusted through that we did not know about. He removed and replaced this. We are glad to have called Brennan.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. I used it shortly after I purchased it, they came in fact the same day. They were extremely good.

It went very well. I bought a deal here to have my furnace checked. I had forgotten and call 1 day before the expiration date for service provided to set up the appointment and they honored the coupon. They showed up on time and did a very good job. My furnace is running a lot better that it was before. I would have really like if they also offered cleaning up the ducts too instead of having to call somebody else. But the job they performed was really good

Everything went fine. They were prompt and put the furnace in.

The tech found cracks in the 12 yr old heat exchanger and ordered and replaced.

I had another inspector friend come through my house and I asked him his opinion. He said the guy left the filter dirty... did not clean it and was trying to up sale me which was not necessary... and that there are less expensive options:( Disappointing. The service guy himself, was very nice!

Fabulous. Todd from Brennan has been out three times to give us estimates on different heating solutions. What a wonderful man and the company is great too. We found these folks at a Kiosk at Costco in Smokey Point. The man at the Kiosk was also a great help and very informative. I can not say enough nice things about everyone we have dealt with at Brennan. Wonderful people and top quality products.

The service was pretty routine and it worked fine. I have no complaints and no particular big deal. They found the equipment to be in working order and satisfactory for at least a year. They're reliable and it's actually kind of surprised that they would come this far out, were 16 miles from Seattle. As much as they did what they're supposed to do in a reasonable time and at the amount we agreed to, I would say he did a great job. They came a week after we made the appointment is pretty darn good.

They went out there and gave me an estimate and then they told me that if I really wanted them to do the work, they suggested that I go to Costco because they have their display there. If I went through them with Costco, then I get the points on my card for the rebate and I get a discount. It saved me quite a bit of money. I was very happy with them. They replaced it with the top-of-the-line for energy efficiency. It save me money out of heating bills so I was happy about that. They put in a new thermostat that's tied directly to the heater so if anything goes wrong with the heater or anything like that, it pops as an email to me and email to them and a notice on the air conditioner on my computer telling me what the problem is and they come out and take care of it. It's all been under warranty work so it's been great.

Adam was very professional, friendly and seemed to really enjoy his job. He was very efficient and thorough in his inspection, cleaning and in his explanations to me afterwards. I would definitely use them again and would feel very confident in their care.

They installed our air conditioner, furnace, and hot water heater. They are very thorough. Great people to work with. I would use them again in the future.

The Furnace started acting up on Sunday and I could smell a burning smell so I shut the system off and Called Brennan for an appointment. As we are leaving on a tour in 5 days and can't leave the dogs and dog sitter in the house without AC, Brennan arrange for a service tech to come out on Tuesday. Kevin diagnosed the problem as a failing fan motor. As this Furnace is a 2001 Payne I was worried the part would not be available. Kevin was able to find a replacement fan motor and repaired the furnace in a very professional manner. We are extremely grateful to Kevin and Brennan Heating & AC for coming to the rescue on such short notice.

Everything went well. The gentleman did good work and provided helpful advice on how to keep the system running properly as well as other heating and cooling issues.

Great. On time and quick. They even re-routed the exhaust - that hadn't been set up correctly (someone else's work) so we would be safe.

We purchased a big deal from them and we had a problem but putting in a new furnace would not fix it. They were very honest and helpful. They spent some time searching how to correct the problem.

install was all done in one day. Crew had a couple experienced people and a couple very young and inexperienced workers. The install did not go badly, the duct work they did was adequate, but did not have a smooth or professional finish to it, they left this to the youngest, least experienced person and he had to have assistance to rework after he had "finished" due to the ducting not fitting within the space parameters. The stack of equipment was not sealed properly and had an entire seam between the furnace and filter that had 1/4" gap. This caused garage air to be sucked directly into the unit without going through the filter. We called and they sent a crew out to seal this gap with silicone a couple of days later. My biggest complaint is that the unit they sold us does not fit our needs. We were led to believe by the sales rep that this new unit would be much quieter than the old furnace, when in reality it is three times as loud. The unit sounds like a jet engine when it starts up and is very loud when running. It seems like they sold us an oversize or overpowered unit for our needs. When I called to inquire about the noise and also the unbalanced cooling effect (upstairs hot, while downstairs is a freezer) the sales rep explained first that that was just the nature of a two story house, he has the same problem at his house he said. I mentioned to him that it would have been helpful to hear that before he sold us a $12,000 dollar system that does not meet our needs, he began to backtrack, saying the system was great and our ducting was the issue. Ducting crew came out and suggested making "permanent" my temporary blocking of some downstairs vents by putting a brick in the ducting below the registers, that was about it for their "consultation". In further conversation with the sales rep he mentioned that in all his 25 years in the business he had never seen a house experience an unbalanced cooling effect like ours, I reminded him that he had 15 minutes earlier mentioned that he had the same problem in his own house and I did not appreciate him trying to shift the blame to me for his less than informative sales visit. In the end we are trying to fine tune the system, installing some bricks in the ducting, will be calling Brennan service again to see if they can turn down the fan on the unit, and will be calling another ducting company to see about moving one of the air return vents to the upstairs hallway. Not overly happy, but our error for believing the sales reps pitch rather than getting more professional advise and a building more background knowledge on the system before purchasing.

It was fine. There were no additional charges. They did a good job. Their pricing was good.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was just fine. I originally got my furnaces from them 14 years ago. They said that everything looks good. Everything has been operating just great. They were in and the price was what it was. They called back to follow up after the process.

This was an Angie's List deal. The service was well priced and the technician very professional. The technician was right on time .for the appointment, notifying me of the approximate time of arrival. I would definitely use this service again.

We had purchased a big deal for the service, and it was okay. Nothing stood out about the service and I didn't have any problems.
