Did a good job, took a bit longer than expected, probably because they did a duct cleaning at the same time.

We had several bids, Brennan was not the lowest but very competitive when combined with the Costco deal. Everything was very professional but friendly. The install crew was on time, finished in one day, cleaned up and took the old furnace and hot water tank away,showed us how to program the new thermostat and run the new system. We have had no issues with the new items.

Our heater broke in January. They were able to fit us in very quickly because we had already gotten a quote recently with them. It was an emergency, but they didn’t charge the extra fee for emergency response.

A team of three men arrived when scheduled and removed the old and installed the new. The work men wer very professional and wasted no time. Some sheet metal needed to be cut to fit the new furnace. This was done quickly and well. The lead worker gave me instruction on how to operate the new thermostat. All tlhe work was done with in one day.

It went well, they were professional, the install is clean and they picked up after themselves. We discussed increasing the size of the hot water tank from the original 40 to a 50 gallon and Brennan talked us out of it. I wish we had gone with the 50 G.

They came within a couple days to perform the install and were very professional and fast. There was an unknown issue with the thermostat which led the heat pump to run continuously on emergency heat for a week or so, which led to an extremely inflated utility bill. Initially contacted the Brennan office regarding the issue and was told that they would not refund the utility charges. Contacted our Brennan sales rep directly about the issue; he sent someone to fix the thermostat and immediately issued a check for the excess utility charges, no questions asked. Extremely pleased with his professionalism and that of everyone who came to the house to install and/or service the system. System now works great - is very quiet and efficient, as promised. Would definitely use them again.

There was uncertainty whether the space available for desired size - Brennan sent two tanks, desired size and one smaller in event first choice did not fit. | |Lead installer, Von, arrived 30 minutes early and determined that a rack of modular shelves had to be removed to permit installation. He offered to remove them but special tools were required. He gave me his cell # and said he would go to next appointment but invited me to call once shelves removed. With great luck, a contractor working in condo next door was able to remove the shelves, Von was reached and returned withing the hour, and the installation was completed. | |The work was faultless, the cleanup total including removal of old tank, and Von and his assistant could not have been more effective, friendly or professional. A+

They are very dependable. The guys were in and did their work quickly. They cleaned up their mess and took all the garbage with them. They perform very consistently and are easy to work with. They sent 2 people out to install the new furnace.

Brennan Heating & Air Conditioning came out on time and were knowledgeable and didn't take long. They were fast.

Everything went well. Had good communication with the service providers. The tech who had my account was Junior, he was very helpful and explained everything to me well. I was always able to get a hold of him to get my questions answered.

Brennan identified that the ignitor needed to be replaced upon inspection of the air gap. Getting it done preemptively probably saved us an emergency call this winter.

They did a fine job. That gave me an estimate for additional work, but I went with another company that my home warranty company recommended.

My wife and I attended the home show with the intent of having air conditioning installed in our home. We talked to a rep. and he said he would send a tech. to give us an estimate. A couple of days Brennan called and asked when we would like someone to come to our house and give us an estimate, I told him that I had already scheduled my furnace for an inspection and that person probably could give me an estimate . This would save them some money not having to send 2 tech's. I stated previously the tech. inspected the furnace ( 10 minutes ) and informed me that I would need a new furnace or he could replace the cracked heat exchanger . It just so happened they had a special on new furnaces and I would really benefit by having him install it. The technician was extremely hard to understand , my wife and I had a difficult time knowing exactly what he was saying...his English was not good at all. He seemed insulted when I told him I only wanted to repair the furnace and not replace it. He wanted $100.00 for the visit and I asked him if I could just include that amount when he returned to repair the heat exchanger, he wasn't sure he wanted to do that but I said it made sense to only write one check when he returned. He returned 5 days later and repaired the heat exchanger . I had to go out to his van to have him show me the cracks in the heat exchanger . I'm really surprised that he did not think it was important to show me the damaged heat exchanger. I paid him $1200.00 which included the money for the previous visit. About a week later I got another bill in the mail from Brennan saying that I owed $100.00 for the first call . I called their office and explained the situation and the woman apologized. Over the years I have paid Brennan thousands of dollars for a lot of work they did but they will not receive any more of my business. I read another review for them on Angie's list and it sounds just like mine.

Great. Technician went through all the check and because it was relatively a new furnace so it was quick and efficient.

Responding pretty quick. Was on time for appointment but price is more than what I expected. I thought $1899 for including labor but permit and other fee is involved about $2800. Still furnace is working ok. I used them before, good reputation. Maybe next time. Thanks.

They were fast and efficient and didn't try to overcharge us on anything.

Chose them using their big deal. They were prompt and friendly. They completed the necessary work as promised on schedule.

I purchased a coupon for these services through Angie's list. Pro's: punctual, completed work in a timely fashion Con's: perfunctory demeanor of service professional, did not replace filter I appreciated the opportunity to try Brennan through this coupon, and while I wouldn't say it was a bad experience, nor would I say it was a good one. I expected that replacement of the filter was a part of this service, but the technician did not have any filters of the correct size for my furnace. The only offer he then made was to install it if I went out and bought one, but he departed while I was still trying to track one down. Admittedly, I cannot remember if I ever confirmed with Brennan that filter replacement was a guaranteed part of this coupon - but even if it was not, this isn't the kind of in-person customer service that leaves me keen to contract them again.

It took them a week to contact me. When I talked to them I told the receptionists that my venting needs to be replaced also. They said they would call between 1-4, he didn't call till 5 and didn't show up till after 5. When I showed him the vents he said he didn't know anything about the vents and he couldn't do them right now. The receptionists had left the company. I showed him the duct tape that I had put on my vents for a temporary fix (recommended by Lowes). He told me it was flammable and unsafe. He told me that I would have to make another appointment to get everything done. I did and he came out a week later. He then replaced the vents and looked at the furnace and said that I had a crack in my motor and it needed to be replaced or the whole furnace replaced. I wanted to think about what I wanted to do. This was on Thursday and I realized my furnace wasn't working and it was getting colder. I turned the breaker on and the blower started but the air was still cold. Monday I called them and asked why, they said to turn the breaker on and I told them I already did that. The guy then said I didn't have heat because I refused to buy the motor. I told him I didn't refuse, I just wanted to think about it. I contacted another company who came out and told me that my furnace had been completely turned off and that there was no crack in my motor. They cleaned it and it has been working fine.

Brennan Heating did a great and prompt job switching my house from Oil to Natural Gas, including removing the old nasty oil furnace, installing a new high efficiency gas furnace, cleaning the ducts, installing some new ducts, and installing a new water heater. Given that the old furnace was broken I had no heat, and they took that into account and quickly got the job done. A special shout out to the estimator Todd, who called my home warranty insurance provider a number of times to provide information to help me get a claim on the failure of my old oil furnace. Thanks Todd!

Not much cooperation on location of furnace, they had to come back for repairs multiple times. They just didn't seem to care.

The technician was punctual and did the work fast. He was explaining some potential issues with my furnace, changed the filters, cleaned some dust that escaped, and then left.

Brennan is a superior service provider. We have used them in the past to clean and upkeep our furnace. They have never tried to up-sell or push product we did not need. Will definitely use Brennan again.

I emailed them the same day and set up the consultation for the following week. I upgraded the electrical filter and had them clean out my vents in addition to the installation. The service was perfect. They were very informative and answered all my questions. They showed me how to use and clean the filters. I dealt with five technicians and they were all very professional. I have already recommended them to coworkers.

On February 8th, I purchased a Deal for $99 gas furnace service which included a filter and installed carbon monoxide tester. I called within a few days of purchase to set up an appointment. No one could come out until February 24th. I was to be the first appointment - and was told the arrival would be 8 AM. At 8:15 I called to see if someone was coming or if I had the wrong date. I was told that the technician was on his way but stuck in traffic. At 9:10 when the technician still hadn't arrived, I called the company back and was told the technician had never intended to be to my place at 8 AM. I guess the first person I spoke with used "stuck in traffic" as an often used excuse rather than the truth. I would think that most folks who knew they were the first appointment and appointments begin at 8 - would assume the worker would arrive at 8. Maybe the technician could have made a call and given me an ETA. I cancelled my appointment and refused to reschedule because of Brennan's appointment scheduling practices, lack of communication with me, and their treatment of customers - as if I'm doing them a service by using their company. Very poor customer relations on the part of Brennan's telephone and scheduling staff. As I was cancelling the deal with Angie's list at 9:15 AM, the Brennan truck drove past my house. I have a 2 person office that is supposed to open at 8AM in the morning. My office manager was ill today. So because of this lack of communication, on Brennan's part, my office didn't open until 10 AM - 2 hours late and my furnace wasn't serviced. I got the shaft rather than a deal on this transaction.
