Brennan Heating & Air Conditioning

The provider was very prompt, clear with the details of the estimate and the pros/cons of each choice we were making (A/C is a very expensive investment), clearly explained the downsides of one of the problems (we have separate heating units for upstairs / downstairs, and weren't able to install the A/C in the upstairs portion). Brennan installed the A/C unit extremely fast, without additional problems, ensured all permits were squared away. Everything has been running smoothly thus far and we are definitely going to use them in the future.

Brennan Heating & Air Conditioning was As all around. For responsiveness, they didn't respond to the big deal so I need to get a hold of you guys to push them along a little bit. I think maybe they got overwhelmed or something, I don't know. It was fine. It was great; perfect. They were courteous, professional and everything was good. I would use them again.

All went well - showed up when they said they would, work was completed in a timely manner.

I was not impressed with the man who came out. He did an inspection and cleaning of the furnace. I didn't think it was done as well as it could have been. He quoted a part that needed to be replaced. I told him to replace it, which he did. I was not pleased and would not use them again.

Prompt. Clean Install in one day..

Brennan mechanic came out to diagnose furnace problem. To fix the problem (inducer motor) would have cost approximately $400, so did not proceed with having them do the repair. Did research and found that entire inducer motor plus assembly does cost $300, however to change just the motor itself would only cost $100. Hence bought motor only and fixed myself...

The service was great. I did not pay anything additional. I would highly recommend them, and they were prompt in making the appointments, we didn't have to wait weeks for them to come out. They came out in a day or two.

There was one issue (point of unclarity), but it was subsequently resolved by the Service Manager.

It was clear from the start that the furnace was well over the age at which it should have been replaced and the conversation moved to what options were available. He then contacted the representative who called me and came to the house that afternoon and we worked out a plan for replacement which will take place early next week. Both men really knew their stuff and were very personable, helping me keep the stress level to a minimum. I will add my experience of the installation when it is completed!

They were very professional and helpful. They showed up on time and courteous. We had to call them for help later in the month because the furnace turned off by itself and we didn't know how to turn it back on. They showed up in no time to get the furnace working immediately.

I wasn't really impressed with them. The quality of the filters that they put in was really terrible. So when I change the filters because I do that twice a year; that's when I noticed that. I didn't looked what was in there before; it was not anywhere compared to the quality of the filters I normally use. The price is quite special so it's quite reasonable. He was very professional the only complain I had been the quality of the filter.

That was an interesting one. We were very unhappy, we had some issues with the tech when we were trying to use our Big deal, so it ended up being a time consuming process, but ultimately the company called and apologized for the trouble. There was some drama during the day that wouldn't probably make my husband to do a Big deal again through them. But the owner of the company did kind of correct the error and apologized for it. They were on time.

The coupon was for only one unit, either furnace or heat pump. We had them service our heat pump. No problems just general maintenance.

They responded promptly to my call and came out to the house. Even tho they understood that I was on a "fact finding" mission the sales rep took his time to answer all of my questions. He examined the existing furnace and made recommendations on what to buy when I decided it was time to replace it. Very professional, friendly and easy to work with. I will call them when the time comes!

It was fine. They extended the life of the water tank. We were thinking of replacing it before they came. They gave us useful information. They did what they said they would do. They were professional.

They arrived on time with the materials and equipment needed to do the job. The city inspector gave it a passing grade on his first visit and we informed Brennan that it had been inspected, passed and thanked them for the good job.

Technician arrived on time, identified himself and noted that his service was a promotion through Angie's List. He quickly went to work, checking the thermostat, the heat pump, then the outside unit for condition.

The service was complete. The technician was on time, knowledgeable, efficient and professional. He provided a detailed assessment of the various areas that my 22 year old furnace was failing. After providing the overview of the costs and strengths of the various Lennox alternatives. I asked for time to assess the alternatives with my wife, reduce the number of alternatives and then request a formal proposal. (Which has occurred)

Frankly, there are other reviews from Angie's List so, that's what made me call and then the honor roll. Their biggest pro probably is their reputation.

When I first wrote my review in 2014 for this company I had not discovered the major accounting error they caused when they failed to apply my payment (made to Angie's List) to my account. Initially, every person I had contact with either in person or on the phone was professional. All of the technicians were professional and punctual. My issue started when I was handed the bill when the crew was leaving. It was a Friday night and I noticed a balance due so I asked the technician and he referred me to billing department. That night, I felt a voicemail message with an explanation of the issue and my contact number. Thursday of the following week, when I realized I had not heard back I contacted the office. I explained the issue.....I had paid Angie's List for their service so I expected any invoice to show zero not a balance. When the billing office attempted to refund my credit card for the second payment they in fact ran the card again. Overall, they ran my credit card 3 times for this furnace a total of $6000.00.

They completed the work in about an hour and they didn't have to run back for anything. They came with a fully stocked truck. They provided us with a lower bid for the job than one other company. Our first involvement with Brennan was in 2013.

They had to order the mortar so it took quite a while because it was an older furnace. They were efficient, they were quick, they arrived on time. They told me abot the mortar but they told me i didn't need to replace it immediately unti about a year, so i had to order it to make sure that it would die in the mean time. The price was reasonable.

They did what the coupon said. They convinced me to replace the igniter but I don't think I needed it. I felt I was taken advantage of. Overall it was a good job. They were on time. There were no problems I didn't check the price for the extra charges.

The units are running great. The technician was very knowledgeable and was able to explain the service and gave instruction on use.
