Brennan Heating & Air Conditioning

I made an appointment on the phone after signing up for their Angies List special. I waited nearly the full window for them to arrive and then called to find out if they were running late. Turns out they did not have me on the books at all. That was a time waster. But I rescheduled and for the next appointment they arrived on time. Everything went pretty well after that. He told me he did not have the correct size filter with him, so he used a different one. I was surprised that it was an issue. I think they should carry all of the sizes, or at least call to ask the size before coming out, so they could be prepared. He inspected the furnace. We had not been having any issues but it is 12 years old so we wanted to check it before the next winter. He vacuumed the furnace and answered some questions I had about a hole in the floor behind the furnace and about the CO detector. He was finished in about 30 minutes and the price was what I expected.

The technician Adam showed up timely and was very professional and friendly. He performed the work on my furnace and encouraged me to ask questions along the way. Upon discovering some problems with my furnace (cracks forming in heat exchanger and oil leaking from the blower motor), he encouraged me to inspect the problems myself, I appreciated him doing this. Adam gave me a price quote for repairs and also gave me details on full replacements, did not try to hard sell me on the spot, and gave me his number for any additional questions. After Adam had left, I performed another visual inspection and noticed some paper debris had lodged into one of the burner flutes. That seemed odd to me, and I reached out to Brennan via Angie's list and a service manager contacted me within the hour and we were able to discuss how the cleaning may have moved the debris around causing it to be sucked in. I wanted to bring my discovery to their attention so they know to look out for things like this in the future for other customers. The service manager thanked me for reaching out and also stated I could contact him for any additional questions. From my experience Brennan Heating & Air is a well run company. All of my inquiries were answered in a timely manner and the employees were professional and courteous to me. Thank you for doing a great job.

I ended up buying a new hot water heater.

I was disappointed because he was constantly trying to upsell.

The service went okay. The technician cleaned soot out of the burners of the furnace. He did a nice job and told me exactly what he did. In the future, I will not hire a company who has a young son working for them. I had no issues with scheduling and they showed up to the appointment on time.

I bought furnace from Brennan 7 years ago they installed it. A few weeks after installation there was a leak and they came out and put goopy sealer on area of leak. 7 years later house inspector identified leak in same place and I had to fix before house sale closed. They came out, did annual maintenance I requested and said a new part was needed to fix leak, existing part didn't fit correctly. I paid in advance for the fix to get the part ordered. I complained to the service manager that wrong part was installed when I bought furnace. He said part was correct but just needed a new one.??? (that doesn't fit either?) Service Manager said he would refund $80 for the extra service call needed to install the part. Meanwhile house closed and I could not schedule a service time after the house sold. So to date they haven't installed the part nor credited me with the $80 service fee. Would not use again

Scheduled a routine furnace inspection they offered as a deal. Technician arrived on time and began inspecting the furnace only to come and tell us that our furnace wasn't working. It had worked with no issues for the entire year so we were definitely surprised. He said he couldn't finish the inspection since it wouldn't fire up and that we were looking at $400-500 to get it running again. This is after he charged us an additional $100 diagnostic fee. He left without leaving any paperwork or receipt explaining why it wouldn't run and told us he would call back with an estimate in the evening. We've yet to hear back and mysteriously I woke up in the middle of the night to an extremely warm house. He had turned the thermostat way up and never readjusted before he left. I paid $160 for nothing.

he was polite and well mannered and liked my dogs. actually he let me use him for one of my pups, so the pup could get used to people.... very knowledgeable about my air conditioner make and model and was very thorough. he was pleasant and i liked him very much. no doubt i would use brennan again.

Imran was very knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. He took time to explain to me what was going on with my furnace and all of the other connecting systems. The only issue was the timing--I was told that the appointment would be between 1-4pm, and so I was just waiting for 4 hrs. It would have been nice to have a heads up as to a more definite timeframe of when someone would arrive.

Technitian arrived on time, cleaned out the scale, replaced the sacrificial rods (which were in awful shape), and warned about the water heater age. Since we had just purchased this home, we wanted to make sure the water heater wasn't about to give out imminently.

If you want to be hounded by a sales associate non-stop, these are your guys. The sales associate did a very long inspection (probably a half hour), sat down and went over a very lengthy explanation as to all the problems that he saw. He mentioned: -A need to go to gas -A need to have an electrician come out and review our panel because it was over packed -That AC would likely not be ideal because we only have one reuptake vent His explanation made it seem like there would be a ton of issues and we were super hesitant to use them because that generally indicates hidden costs at time of service. We opted for a company that was over $1k cheaper (even with this Brennan's Angie's List discount), saw no issues in the installation, and turned out to have no problems whatsoever with our AC system. We also received a phone call from the sales men about every other day, so unless you give them a hard "no," expect to be hounded for your money.

They were courteous, they performed outstanding service, they were here on time, and they performed their work in an outstanding manor.

They were very professional and completed the work to our satisfaction.

It went very well. My wife said they were perfect, gave my system a clean bill of health. This is the second time I used this company and will continue to do so as they behave professionally, they don't try to create problems to sell other services. Don't waste your time with others, use this company.

Professional. On time. Inspected and gave information about our tankless water heater, etc.

The company was quick to respond and the service technician was punctual. There was a little miscommunication about the service ordered through Angie's List and what was on his paperwork to do, but it was resolved with a phone call and all was good.

Technician performed work very thoroughly, cleanind and checking every component of the furnace.

I have been using the company for about 9 years. We have a strange heating system so we have one of their guys come out regularly to check the boiler. As long as we get Paul, everything goes smoothly. He always can fix our issues and scheduling is pretty easy, especially on week days.

I was happy with how everything went.

The service went well. They installed an electric water heater. The technicians showed up on time, were polite and did a nice job. Scheduling was fairly easy.

It went well. Just one worker came out. It took them about fifteen minutes to complete the work. They're run of the mill. They didn't do anything better or worse than anyone else who could of came out. I have no complaints. They arrived on time time, did their job, and left.

They seem very knowledgeable.

The worker arrived right in time, was friendly and performed the work without any problems.

We have set up an appointment with them for the service, and they have been responsive so far.
