Description of Work: The serviceman did everything BUT flush the hot water heater as expected. His "flush" was to drain the hot water tank once...I am led to believe that a true flush involves more than just emptying the hot water tank, because this does not flush out any sediment that may have accumulated in the bottom of the tank. The sediment left in the tank cuts down the efficiency of the hot water heater requiring the temperature setting to be set at a higher level to get hot water.Please refer to the procedure described in Google...

Description of Work: We had our tankless hot water heater and gas furnace maintenance checks. The only add on cost was a replacement of a very dirty furnace filter. The service person gave us some good information about how to protect manufacturer's warranties.

Description of Work: Replace an old furnace to a variable speed one. It is a Costco purchase, but Brennan installing the furnace. Got a phone call confirming the appointment the day before, and technicians was here on time as promised. Techs were polite and know what they are doing. The furnace is working great, noise level reduce by 100%.

Description of Work: I called Brennan to give us an estimate on running a gas line to a new fireplace. I had them do gas piping in a previous home that we owned many years ago. They said that they sell fireplaces as well and I should take a look. I did, and nothing was appropriate for our home. The gentleman became rude when I said that the fireplaces would not work for us. He wanted to run the piping on the outside of the house in a very exposed area of the home and when I suggested running it between the studs, he couldn't be bothered with that. He told us at the time of the bid that we would receive a bid in the next two days. Two days passed, no bid. After a week and a half I left a message on his machine to follow up. He left a message back saying that if we weren't going to buy a fireplace from him he didn't want our business. I wish they had been honest upfront. I wouldn't have wasted my time. In my opinion, you shouldn't either.

Description of Work: We called Brennan to do a routine furnace inspection and maintenance. They inspected the furnace and found that a part needed to be replaced. The technician said that we could probably make it a bit longer with the old part, but that when it failed our heater would no longer work until it was replaced. Since it was right at the beginning of the winter season, we decided to just go ahead and replace it. I appreciated the technician's honesty in telling me that we could wait to replace it if we were willing to gamble being without heat or hot water for a day or two. He also cleaned our air filters and was very nice about showing me how I could do it myself. Overall very professional but I gave a B for punctuality because he was about a half an hour late. Our appointment was at the very end of the day which might have had to do with it, but he did not call to let us know he was running late, which would have been appreciated.

Description of Work: I used an Angie's List Coupon for the First Time. This was a deal to have our HVAC units inspected at a discount. Brennan was able to schedule to service two days after I booked it. The Technician, Mike, showed up in the 2 hour window. Very nice and professional. Mike performed the services as promised quickly and efficiently. He pointed out that one of our motors was "whining", which was a sign that it could go at any time. There was ZERO pressure to sell this, it was just information that he was providing. I told him to have the office give me a quote on replacement. These services were pre-paid with the Angies List Coupon, and there was no upsell on anything. Would definiltey use these guys again and in fact they'll be back to replace the Motor. I would also use the Coupon offer with another Vendor is it made sense.

Description of Work: They gave me a quote. They seemed professional in their estimate, but I ended up using someone due to price reasoning. They were positive interactions.

Description of Work: There was a cleaning of the HVAC furnace and a new filter was installed. The problem was when the gentleman inserted a 40 x 24 inch filter in the furnace where there was only a space for 20 x 14 area. THen proceeded to tell me for only $1900 I could get the ducts cleaned and sealed.

The only thing was he said our motor was going and our furnace is only 4 years old. I've had furnaces last for 20 years, maybe the high efficiency models don't last long. Anyway, I hope I don't have to call them to replace my motor anytime soon!
