Description of Work: Annual furnace inspection. They lost my appointment the first day and so didn't show but arrived within their promised rescheduled window the next day. Small job, no other problems or concerns.

Description of Work: Replaced existing furnace with new Lennox ML-180 with added filter drawer. Installation went well. My only gripe was the installers would have rerouted the gas pipe about 12 inches away from the furnace causing it to become a clear obstruction and a hazard. I told them it was totally unacceptable so they fixed it pretty quickly and easily but they should have known better.

Description of Work: Installed central heating, including ductwork, replacing two outdated wall heaters. Worked well with us in deciding on ceiling vent locations. Very basic unit is quieter than expected.

Description of Work: Replaced 20 year old furnace and thermostat. Excellent service and workmanship. Men arrived on time, worked diligently, removed old furnace and debris and completed the job in 4 hours. We were very impressed and pleased and would recommend them to family and friends.

Description of Work: We have used Brennen twice in the past year. Once for a furnace replacement. Completed promptly on schedule and at quoted cost. Excellent experience. We also had them replace the water heater at our new house (shortly after we moved in). Again, no surprises, great people, fair cost as quoted. This is our go to plumbing and heating vendor.

Description of Work: Brennan is a better company to work with, low-pressure people doing their jobs well, not over-priced, and getting to their job in a timely manner. I wouldn't call anyone else first, and here's why: | |My water heater had started leaking from the top. I briefly considered fixing it myself (I tend to be a home repair n***) but decided I had too much to do for the time. I called the number from the heater itself and spoke to the company that claimed I still might have a warranty on the thing. After some confusion, they told me that they had to reboot the system and would call me back. | |By the next morning, I decided I wasn't going to hear back from them, so finally called several possibilities on the Angie's List page that I researched. The first couldn't see me for three days (a national company). The second I left a message with (small local company). The third (Brennan) responded and was able to send someone out within several hours. | |A rep came out within the time period, reviewed the situation, respected my decision to not replace the tank (it was 10 yrs old, but we're replacing the furnace this year), and discovered that I needed to replace the expansion tank as well. The total cost was below the estimate from the first company I called who claimed a warranty (and didn't know about the expansion tank).

Description of Work: Problem with me not knowing the filter size. In talking with the dispatcher, they could pick one up at Gensco just a few minutes away. Service guy said he would not do this but would ship me a filter which I would not be able to install since the furnace is in the attic. Also told I needed two coupons because it was an A/C and furnace combined. Told service guy to forget it. Didn't want someone with a bad attitude working on my furnace.

Description of Work: They replaced our old heat pump with a more efficient model and replaced our old oil furnace with an electric unit matched to the heat pump. The install went very smoothly and their people were great to deal with.

Description of Work: The first service tech that came out, had a heavy accent and I couldn't understand him and what the issues were with our air conditioner. Brennan was very prompt to send somebody else out and resolve the issues. Felt like it was a waste of my time and their company time for something that could of been taken care in one visit.
