Description of Work: No rating on quality and punctuality yet - service to be carried out in early fall. Have dealt with Brennan before (they installed our current heating system) and fully expect the same kind of excellent service we've had in the past.

Description of Work: Brennan Heating replaced my heat pump/air handler and hot water heater. They installed a Lennox heat pump/air handler and a Bradford White hot water heater. The price above does not include the rebates I should be receiving from PSE ($1100) and Costco so the net price should be $12,167 for both after rebates which is comparable or a bit higher to the other bids I received but for this don't go with the cheapest unless you have done your research on them and the product. The salesman and I had some communication lags but otherwise I have no complaints. The company took out the proper permits, the crew was here and ready to go, worked as a team and stayed here until the work got done which was late into the evening. Explained what I needed to do with the inspections step by step and how to use the new computerized thermostat as mine was a BASIC one compared to this one (I am still learning). Since it was going to be such a high price purchase and hopefully a lasting one, I did a lot of online research on the products ratings and reviews (HVAC blogs, Consumer Reports)and the company (BBB, Angie's List) and I highly recommend you do the same as there are a lot of HVAC companies that don't even bother with inspections (and if it is installed incorrectly could cause you some major headaches and money). Also make sure the warranty information, model numbers, etc. (write down everything that was agreed to be done or included in the price) and make sure it is ON the proposal before signing. So I'm a happy camper and that's hard to get out of me!

Description of Work: job went really well-- fast and clean-- my only concern was they left the |old power "mast" thru the roof right next to the new "mast" --I would have |assumed and preferred they remove the old mast.

Description of Work: I was told it would take a maximum of 2 hours to install my new furnace. I planned the date of the installation and took off time from work assuming the 2 hour estimate would be relatively accurate. 6 hours later the furnace installation was not complete. A couple hours after they said the installation was complete, puddles of water were forming in the utility room, including on the electric panel that turns the furnace on and off. Thus, I had to take more time off of work the next day so they could fix the faulty installation. Never received any apologies or compensation for my lost time and the extra time I had to take off from work.

Description of Work: I bought a Big Deal for an annual furnace maintenance exam.I got the time & date I wanted & was pleased to hear up front they would be collecting sales tax.Last time it came as a surprise.Shawn arrived in the middle of the 3 hour window.He did a thorough exam & was friendly & professional.I have an old electronic air cleaner & when he checked it for cleaning he was the first person to tell me it wasn't working.I'm pretty sure it quit awhile ago but no one bothered to let me know.
