Description of Work: Had a Lennox gas furnace installed. Only problem with service was that they did not turn the pilot light back on the hot water heater so fortunately I had a neighbor who is in commercial heating and cooling who came over and fixed it!

Description of Work: Replaced an undercounted light fixture, corrected an incorrectly installed switch and replaced 3 pendants over the kitchen bar. Joe was the electrician and he insists on doing everything right (much to my delight). I'd call him again in a heartbeat.

Description of Work: The electrician came to diagnose a problem with a sub-panel. The diagnosis was that the solution required replacing the main 200 amp panel. I accepted their analysis and scheduled a main panel replacement. Upon further thought I checked the breaker for the sub-panel and discovered that it was toast on one side. I replaced the breaker (60 amp, 210 volt) and that appears to have solved the problem. Needless to say I canceled the main panel replacement. On the first or 2nd visit they did replace a smoke detector and there was no problem with that work.

Mr. [Member Name Removed], We at Brennan Electric are truly sorry you were dissatisfied with our service to you. We really feel that we tried to accommodate your needs. You purchased a $99.00 for 2 hours of work and we were out three different times to fulfill the time allotment of two hours. We also upgraded a bad smoke detector with a new 10-year lithium detector at no charge (119.00 value in itself). The electrician also replaced a 3-way switch at your home which he did not charge for as well. As for the Electrical panel, that was a free estimate which we stand by completely. Your electrical panel is outdated and had compromised bussing behind the breaker where the breaker attaches to the bussing itself. Our standard as recommended by the manufacturers is to not add or alter a electrical panel that has been compromised. It is a safety precaution that we are not willing to waver on. We gave you a free estimate that we believe was accurate and correct given your circumstances. Please feel free to call and discuss further if necessary.
