That went well. It was excellent. A single repairman came out. The work was good but price was high. Customer service was great. The repairman was kind and treated me well.

They were just fine. I have no complaints about them. They were professional, polite, and worked quickly. The furnace has been working just fine since then.

We had a small leak coming from the venting that leads from the furnace to the roof. I called Brennan because they were the ones who installed our new furnace. Kyle came out and found the problem...our old B-vent on the roof had rusted out and rain water was leaking into our garage. We decided to have shakes replaced on our roof first and treatment done before replacing the B-vent, just in case there was an issue with the shakes as well. After the roof was done, I called to schedule Brennan for the B-vent repair and for a furnace servicing which was $95. Kyle came out and efficiently replaced the B-vent and made sure everything was sealed up properly. (Note: It has rained, snowed, and hailed since the repair and no leaks...yippee!) We were very happy with the service, except we think we probably could have had another company do it at a lower price (I should have checked around).

All the bids I got were roughly the same. The reason I used Brennan was that they were one of 2 that actually did a heat inventory to size the furnace and Brennan had consistently good reviews on this list. In addition, Ryan had an eye for customizing the installation; he proposed moving the thermostat (though that didn't turn out to be possible with our strangely studded walls) and installing a vent on the furnace so that we could have some heat in the basement when needed. I first got his bid in November and called him several times for questions and a bid on a different furnace. When I finally decided in April to use Brennan, he volunteered to come out again to go over the final plan. The installers were prompt and cleaned up well, except for some plaster dust in the room with the thermostat and muddy prints in the front entry.

I had an abatement company come out and remove the material, and Brennan came back about with the same serviceman and they wanted to charged $2700 more for the same work. I asked them to leave. I would not recommend them to anybody.

He fixed it and did a good job. They are excellent.

The sales rep was very nice and took the time to explain all the options to me. The work crew arrived on time and finished within a day. They left a clean work site and did a good job with the new duct work and venting. For whatever reason the duct cleaning company that Brennan had scheduled to come out never showed up, and I had to follow up with Brennan a week later to get the service done.

Annual maintenance check and service was scheduled and tech was on time. I found Jason to be very efficient, knowledgeable and personable. He checked and serviced our ancient electric furnace and didn't leave a mess. He also found the source and fixed a whine in a furnace the likes of 35 years +, demonstrating his knowledge and ability to repair old furnaces. He knew what he was doing and didn't waste company time or my money resolving the problem with the furnace.

The "tech" arrived without any tools, not even a flashlight. I showed him the problem area in the venting and he said he needed a "special tool" and went back out to his truck. After several minutes, I went out to find him in his truck talking on his cell phone. He came back in and told me that it was a chimney issue, not a furnace problem and even if it was a furnace problem, he couldn't fix it that day (which is not what I was told on the phone when I originally called). The guy never once looked at my furnace. He presented the bill for the service visit and left. I called another company. Their tech showed up with a full tool kit. He took the vent tube off, cleaned it out and serviced the furnace. Same day as his diagnostic visit. And it appears to have resolved my furnace problem.

Robbie did a fine job and educated us on how to keep the air filters clean.

Rich from Brennans Heating and Air arrived within the alloted time frame and quickly went to work cleaning my furnace. He was courteous and professional and worked quickly. Brennan's was able to schedule me a week out from my call, even in December. My furnace is in good operating condition, so much else to report other than I will use Brennan's services in the future.

Couldn't have gone better. The installers were fast and professional.

We had Brennan install a new furnace system and a new hot water heater for our home two years ago. They gave us a good price and did an excellent job. Our water heater stopped working and because it is still under warranty we called Brennan to come and fix it. They charge $85.00 to come and just look at the issue and $165.00 an hour to fix the problem. The part was free because it was under warranty but they charged us $48.50 to pick up the part. This simple service call cost us $329.50. When I called for service I was never told that after I paid $85 to have it looked at that I would need to pay $165 an hour to have it repaired. They have you under a barrel because once you pay the $85 you don't feel like you can call someone else because you are already out the service call. I feel it is deceptive and wrong. When my husband confronted them they said it was industry standard. My question is: Just because it's an industry standard does that make it ethical?

Called and set up an appointment to have our furnace cleaned and inspected. Aaron showed up on time and went right to work. He completed the job quickly and gave us a detailed report of our furnace and what to watch for. Cleaned up and was off to his next job. Aaron was personable and did a great job.

What was best about this service was they arrived the morning that I called. I had called another company about the HEATER not working, but they could not make an appointment until after the weekend (possibly 5 days without heat).

The salesman was easy to talk to, easy to work with. He bid it first almost a year ago, came back and was willing to hold to that bid, plus informed me of new energy rebates available. The crew was on time, clean-and-neat, got hate job done and explained the thermostat settings (I hate those electronic things) and promised that if we had any problems, to call the office and they'd talk us through the settings again. I got 4 bids, this was most affordable and had best rating here on Angie's List besides. For a top-of-the-line Lennox 95% efficiency furnace for a 3,000 sq foot furnace.

Good experience... Todd (who did the estimate/proposal) was helpful and responsive. We had 3 estimates total. Brennan was tied with another company, but we referred to other Angie's List reports to make our decision. The day of the installation & cleaning, they showed up on time (except the duct cleaners were a little late), cleaned up after and were easy to deal with.

They were somewhat professional with their work. They were very responsive and neat with their work and they cleaned up well. They were helpful with explaining everything I needed to know about the system to me. They also came out the very next day to do the install which was great.

Larry arrived on time and was quite professional. He warned me that since the machine was so old and the manufacturer no longer in business, the next time the furnace broke down, I would have to buy a new one because spare parts were no longer available. Unfortunately, today (October 5, 2007), after using the heater only a few days following the check-up, the starter did break down and now we'll have to buy a new furnace.

Great. He arrived on time, did the job, cleaned up and left. He gave us a little tutorial on how to keep our furnace running smoothly. We were pleased with the service.

After completing the evaluation of the needs of my home, the estimator gave me a low ball price. The estimator was more of a demanding type stating what I needed rather than asking for my input. I knew the necessary items I needed but he still attempted to up sale certain products. The product line offered was not the best rated in Consumer Reports. Therefore, I opted not to choose their services. I feel this huge company attempts to under run the smaller companies by offering a low estimate. I opted not to choose them based on price and their overall approach.

Rodney showed up on time and gave a fair estimate. On the installation day, the team showed up on time, provided a demonstration when finished, and completed the work about three hours ahead of schedule.

They were responsive, prompt, professional, and quick. They were a little pricey but they did honor the Angie's List discount.

Steve, the person providing the estimate was very thorough and clearly communicated my needs. He was competent as he had been selling, servicing and installing units for 15 years. I felt very confident in his abilities and plan. The way the ductwork was installed in the garage was not the most eye pleasing. However, it worked perfectly and proved to be more beneficial. I was quite satisfied with the overall project.

Joel, Jason and Mike arrived about 8:30 AM. Removed old furnace and installed new furance within 3 hours. They cleaned up and were gone by 11:30 AM. Todd, the sales rep, gave me the estimate only two business days ago (he wrote up the estimate on a Thursday and the install was on a Monday). I was amazed that it could be done so soon. My other two estimates that were prior to Todd's said due to the calendar (mid September) they were looking at scheduling the install at least two weeks out. This did not work with my schedule at all, so when Todd said it could happen quickly and under what the other two estimates, we sealed the deal right there and then. The install happened less than one hour ago. The system was tested and worked perfectly. I also had a new thermostat installed. Joel showed me how to program my heating schedule via the touch screen. He also showed me how the earthquake valve works and how to reset the valve. Good work.
