Brennan Heating & Air Conditioning

This was my second (First was around 2002 in a differnet home) gas furnace/A/C job with them and they have only gotten better. The quality of their workmanship is impressive. Punctual and responsive. I am sure I could find less expensive work but this is something that you do infrequently and it must be done right.

They came and looked at our system and there wasn?t much to do though. They checked it over which we wanted them to do. Overall it went very well. I thought that they were a little pricey for what they did, but they didn't know that. They charge a rate to service the furnace and that was what they did.

The quote was in the ballpark, it just happened to be another company was coming up with more of what we were looking for. I thought they did a good job and I was pleased with the quote, they were our second choice.

Excellent. From start to finish - clear communication, excellent service, competent and fast installation. No problems whatsoever. Would heartily recommend.

Kevin spent over an hour evaluating our home and explaining the options, none of them very good. He wasn't trying to sell us on something with shortfalls, but tried very hard to come up with a reasonable solution. Unfortunately, there wasn't one. We were impressed, though, and will use them in the future.

He said he would email the quote in a couple of days. Never received it and never got a call back.

Arrived on time. Clean and tidy work. Gave good report back.

They did a really good job. They were very conscientious and courteous. They did a really good job keeping the mess to a minimum and cleaned up after themselves. They worked quickly to get the job done. I have no complaints. Their price was comparable to the others we received.

It went very well indeed. There were problems as the job progressed but I can honestly say I have never worked more responsive or fairer people. The new system seems to be working very well.

I contacted Brennan for a quote on a heat pump system. Steve Vick from Brennan responded, visited my home and provided me with a very competitive quote. He answered all my questions promptly, always within 24 hours and was extremely professional. I ended up going with a different company due to preference for their product line but Steve continued to give me important tips on how to get the PSE rebates even though he would not get the sale. Steve is truly a great guy!

No significant problems or complaints, but nothing special either. Did what they said they would, and work was reasonably good.

It did not go smooth. They were on time and did a good job of cleaning up. My issues were with what I was told about the permitting process. The person I spoke to said that they would set up the inspection for me. I ended up having to call and set it up and was given a window of time per the inspector's office. I had to take off work for the electrical inspection and Brennan did not pass the first one. I then had to take off additional work time for them to get it right. They were not inexpensive but I wanted to Lennox brand.

They were prompt, the price was reasonable and provided advice for the future with tax credits with a new furnace.

Well. It was a while ago and I don't have all the details. They arrived within a couple of hours when they said they would, diagnosed it and put in a new thermostat.

After the initial visit we didn't hear anything further from Brennan - not even a phone call or the bid details.

Excellent workmanship. Had their own electricians to do wiring, unlike some other companies I consulted. I think they are a very reliable company.

I would use their services in the future too.

Their estimate was a very close choice between the other companies. Their presentation and information was good. Their price was fine, but we decided to use another company.

It was pretty expensive but they ended up giving me a rebate. The owner was very nice. Finally it was a good experience.

They did a good job and were personable. There was one mistake, but they came back out to repair it.

They did wonderful. The only problem a had was that they charged my credit card after I spoke to someone in the office and they said they would not charge it until they finished install. So there was some miscommunication within the staff. But other than that it was resolved and they did a great job with the install.

They were fine and we would probably use them again. We've had some trouble with that furnace and they have come out a couple of times for the same issue. One of the reasons we use them is that my husband has a hard times making decisions and they are familiar to us. The price was fine.

They were very nice but I never followed through on the quote. I was panicking about an air conditioner. They were one of my final picks. I would absolutely use them in the future.

They are really good. They told us that we are probably going to have to replace our furnace. They said that we were fine for awhile, but we should anticipate it in the next couple of years. We have a ten year old home and the one that the contractor put in isn't of the greatest quality. We've actually been with this company for a number of years. They showed up even before their scheduled time and they just waited patiently. They said they got here and if we were here great; if not they would just wait.

They were highly rated, but the one thing that bothered me is that I had to call them back to rework some things. They didn't fasten the screens on the duct work properly and they had just gone through the drywall without securing the screws in there. They would vibrate and fall out. They were dirty, they left smudges on the wall that I had to clean and then paint over. The way they were rated I expected them to be much better, I recall that vividly. They had to come back because some of the installation on the duct work in the garage fell off, too. Basically it was duct taped on, they left me a roll and they told me if it falls off again I could fix it. I ended up doing it myself a couple of times just to make sure it was fixed. I also had a conversation on the phone with a guy who wasn't very professional. All in all, I think we are pleased with the actual unit and the additional air flow upstairs that we wanted. They initially told us the 2 ton unit we wanted would fit, but when they came out they said it wouldn't fit. They got creative and it's a little hard to access. It's not ideal but they made it work. I thought they were priced a little high but we went with them based on their reputation.
