The overall experience was excellent. I would recommend them.

I was afraid of what might need to be done and the cost to repair a cold air return vent in my house which has never worked since the house was built 16 years ago. Other installers had suggested cutting holes into the ceiling between the up and down stairs to find and fix the problem. The representative from Brennan was professional and resourceful. He figured out a way to fix the cold air return vent without cutting holes into my drywall and without adding cost to the installation. I am absolutely thrilled with the results. The furnace and Air Conditioning were installed when they said it would be and with complete professionalism. The only thing I wish I would have done before the installation was to take the time to understand exactly what it was going to look like after the installation. I was a little surprised with how it ended up looking, but I am use to it now and it is no big deal. I just didn't understand what had to be done. In addition, there were a few issues with the Air Conditioner in the beginning, as I keep my house cooler than most people. It turned out that one component needed to be changed to fix the issue. Brennan was right here to fix the issue as quickly as possible. I am completely happy with the end product and the service that they provided. Thank you Brennan!

Other than the snowy cold weather slowing up response time by several days, the service and work performed was done in a professional manner. Brennan's representative was friendly and knowledgable. he took the time to hunt out the problem and get the furnace up and running. we have had business with Brennan before and have always been happy with the results.

Set a time on the phone, they showed up, everything was by the book and as expected. Can't really think of anything to complain about.

Brennan provided excellent, professional consultation & installation of a new heat pump for our home. Our project manager, Ryan, provided the most professional, informative and comprehensive bid for our heat pump. the price wasn't the lowest of the 3 bids we received but Ryan had us wait & place our bid through Costco - the benefit of receiving a $1000 cash card from Costco made Brennan the best price. Installation was completed in 1 day - the electrician even installed a light in the closet where the air exchanger was located. We had an excellent experience with Brennan & I would highly recommend them.

They are prompt,knowledgeable and reliable and we have never had any problems with them.

The installation was typical and normal. They did a fine job with that. They put down some stuff on the floor so that it would cover their footprints. They did everything as per discussion. The salesman?s name was Ryan. I got a run around with the office staff, but Ryan fixed it instantaneously. Their price was neither good nor bad.

They installed a new system for me in 2009 and made this service trip as no cost. The furnace continues to run well and they've been good following up on maintenance. I think the price was reasonable, when I compared it other companies.

We have been customers with Brennan for four years. They did all of the HVAC and added an AC unit for us in 2007 when we put an addition on our house. We spent about $10K with them. They were excellent. We've had a few service calls in the interim, also excellent. It seems as though things have changed recently. When we repeatedly could not get status I finally called to talk to a supervisor. None were available so I left my name and number, no one called back. The next week I asked to speak to the person above the supervisor. I was told that Jason would return my call. Again no one called back. We have been without heat for almost two months and they do not care enough to even call back. The person they have answering the phone on the service desk is horrible. "Is there a supervisor available?" "No." "Do you know when they will return?" "No." "Can I leave a message?" "Okay." With all of the people looking for work these days, I can't believe they can't find someone with a better customer service attitude than this guy. We checked the Amana website to see how long it takes to receive the replacement motor and it said it would arrive within 7 business days. I wish I knew what happened and why they obviously did not care to finish our service call. We'll never know because no one would ever call us back. We will never use Brennan again.

They were very thorough and their estimate was fair. They were punctual and explained things. They did the work in the time they said it would take. Everything went smoothly.

Project went very well. Sales person came to the house...went over options with us and was not pushy. Service was scheduled within a week of making a decision...guys showed up when they said they would...did a good job with instalation and clean up and were in and out relatively quickly.

Estimator came out and did good job explaining the different products and how the company, Costco, and government rebates apply and we worked through the math of each to arrive at the best choice. They have a deal with Costco and so if you are a member you should remember to ask for it. Requires that you "buy" through Costco but that was not a problem since they handle the paperwork. With rebates we got a top of the line Lennox model for the price of a less efficient one. He clearly explained what the install process would entail, including extra venting, etc for the high eff. unit. The furnace and new thermostat were installed on the day promised and all the rebates and my tax credit happened with no problems. Frankly I was suspicious that because these guys advertise so much they would be more expensive (e.g. our experience with Jorvee Roofing) but their estimate was competitive and they were a pleasure to work with.

Excellent. They came to give a bid on time, started the job on time, finished when they said they would, came back immediately when there was a problem, and solved it right away at no additional charge. Very nice crew; would recommend them to anyone, and plan to use them for annual servicing.

The process from the sales presentation to the cleanup all were handled well. The team that came in to install the new furnace had a difficult job - access to our furnace is not easy. They finished on-time, on budget, and left the space clean. We were given a quick course on the new furnace and thermostat as well.

I sent this service provider an email via Angie's List asking to set up an appointment to get a bid on a new furnace. I never heard from them. I don't have any other choice but to submit an "F" rating for responsiveness and punctuality -- I've been waiting for 2 weeks now.

On the day of install things went well. They were punctual and did the job of installing a Lennox Heat Pump in the time described and location described. However - a week later the Heat Pump stopped working. The thermostat showed it as on but the pump itself was not working. We called a technician out and he said that the pump was somehow tripping the GFI circuit the pump was plugged into and he replaced the GFI and explained that happened sometimes. I accepted this as it was now working. The very next day the same thing happened. The unit just stopped working. I reset the GFI and it worked again - for a while - then died again. I called them out again and this time they told me that the GFI was just a formality and to simply plug it into a power strip instead - and when the inspector came to fulfill the permit just put it back on the GFI circuit then when he left take it off again. This didn't seem right at all! A heat pump on it's own dedicated elictrical line shouldn't be tripping it's own GFI. I caleld the next day and spoke with them again and asked them to come out again. This time they sent the right person apparently - SOMEHOW the coil installed in this unit was too small for the unit and was causing the GFI to trip. Good news they found the problem but the part was on backorder until August. I'm a pretty accepting person and since we did have the power strip trick to get around the GFI I was OK with that and asked them to update us in early august when the part came in. Because of the small coil however cooling wasn't very good overall - but at least made the house livable (we had very few truly hot days this year). August came - and went. My wife had to call them 4 times each time they assured us the part was on its way but they couldn't give us a date. Finally I got involved and explained to them they needed to fix this! Magically the part arrived the next day and they came out and fixed it. So overall initially things were good but they installed the wrong part - likely because the right part wasn't available. Wish they were jsut honest about it in the first place. WOn't be doing business with them again if I can help it (crossing fingers the current installation works for years)

The worker show on time and explained everything they were going to do before starting. They kept me inform through the whole project. They cleaned up after the project and then walked me through the operation of the heating/air condition systems.

We were very happy with the service we received. We thought the workers and our estimator was very professional. They walked us through the removal of our old system and the installation of the new one. We have been very pleased with the upgrade.

Things seem to be fine so far. They came in and performed the work well. I did ask for a copy of the bill and it took them about 3 months to send it, only after I called the owner. They were paid in full at the end of the job. I think there was a disconnect between the office and they technician.

These guys were great to work with, they were easy to schedule, showed up on time, and performed their work with quality and efficiency.

They were a little more expensive. They were very professional. Two individuals came out and did the install and removal in less than and hour and a half. From the time of meeting to full install was less than 72 hours.

They were good. We just wanted some adjustments and they did that. They came when we called them and did the work. Everything seems to be doing fine. I think they were excellent. Comparatively their price was average. I would say they were reasonable and not overly priced. They did a very good job. They came when they said they would come. I was not here when they came but my wife did not have any complaints.

The sales rep was very informative and not at all pushy. We had 4 different companies provide bids and the woman from Brennan was definitely responsive to questions even after the initial sales call. Once we made our decision, the installation was easy to schedule and the installation went smoothly. We were given a walk-through tutorial on the new thermostat. The installers cleaned up well after completing their work and our rep came back a week later to check that everything was functioning as expected. We were pleased and had Brennan do follow-up service in early spring of 2010.

I noticed my heater was leaking and called numerous places so that i could get the problem solved. Breannan heating was able to come out the same day, diagnosis the problem and repair it on the spot with the part they had available.

Brennan was rated high in Angies list. So they were on my list of estimators. They did a through job estimating - i.e. recognizing that we have to break drywall to get to the joint (others didn't catch that as their estimates were very cursory - one didn't even come into the house :)). When I was discussing options, I proposed they cut off the column in the attic and attach the vent to that, rather than break drywall. Not sure why they don't think of these things :). With that change in plan, Brennan gave me the lowest bid of all for $350 so I went with them. The actual installation went well - they were on time and did a good job. Punctual, clean, thorough, and professional. All goodness in the work they have done. What surprised me was the bill. he wrote it up for $400 + tax while he quoted $350 verbally. I was surprised and questioned the bill - but he was adamant the verbal he gave me was for $400 not $350. I didn't bother to ask them to put the estimate in writing because I was getting the job done within a couple of days. So, the lesson in this for y'all is to get the quote in writing. It is possible I still may have gone with them even if I knew the cost was going to be higher. Because they were the most thorough in the estimation process and gave me confidence. But I wish they were more careful in how they quote the price.
