Brennan Heating & Air Conditioning

Although the technician was a bit late, service was good. He was very knowledgable and even identified where the original installer (from a different company) had failed to include a specific device which has resulted in rust that is going to shorten greatly the servicable life of our boiler. I didn't like the news, but certainly appreciated being informed. The one area for improvement is that the technician had no vacuum, so I was left to clean up the pile of dirt from the tuneup after he left. No hesitation to use them again given level of knowledge. Price was a special, which was catalyst for them getting the business.

I was able to set up the appointment easily. The technician came, did the work and was out quickly.

.In September 2012 the heat pump stopped working. The fan would run but was just blowing air around. I called Brennan again. The serviceman told me that he suspected that a part in the control circuit was rusty thru water exposure. Note that the unit has leaked water all over these parts 6 weeks earlier, and that Brennan said at the time was not a concern. He also said that the original installation had omitted a part that would have stopped water from getting in the circuits. He told me he would rush-order the electronic part and the water baffle and install asap. This was supposed to happen within 1-2 weeks. As I had heard nothing for 3 weeks I called and was told the part would arrive the following week. Again no word. 6 weeks after the initial service call I called again, and was told someone would call me back. No-one did. Today (11/26/2012) I called again (8 weeks after initial fault) and was told the factory had shipped the part and they would call me next week to arrange installation time. We'll see, but if the past is any indicator it will be fixed after the warm weather arrives, or possibly never. What is infuriating is the complete lack of any apparent concern on the part of Brennan service personnel, and the inability to show the common courtesy of calling the customer with current status. Meanwhile I have to run the electric furnace to heat the house that is costing $50-100/month extra. For the record, Brennan installed the complete system in 2006.

They ignored my initial email quoting the Angie's List special and a request to setup an appointment. A follow up email garnered a response for the time I requested. The people that showed up were on time and friendly. They did use one of my extension cords without asking and then tossed it on the ground after they were done (instead of raveling it up and putting it back on the shelf) but I consider this to be a minor annoyance. They seemed to work efficiently and got the job done. I would use them again for the same price.

Very knowledgeable and professional. However if part replacement costs weren't quoted too high, we would have used their service.

They worked their schedule around our available times, arrived on time and did exactly what they said they would do.

They were here for 12 hours and worked non-stop to complete a complicated job. Very professional . All questions were answered and issued addressed.

Excellent work on the furnace tune-up and also inspecting the AC. The technician discovered the need for a new burner starter and had the parts necessary to do the replacement on the spot. Very friendly gentleman and even assisted with a few other things we were working on in the garage at the same time! Punctuality is a "B" since he did not make it out on the scheduled day. He did call and ask if we could bump it to the following day, which was fine. I sense Brennan has a busy schedule in this season heading into winter. I will use Brennan again.

Tech arrived on time and completed his work quickly. Acted professionally i.e. no swearing, smoking, uniform was good. Also, provided me with alternatives for my heating needs without acting like a salesman.P

I left him here to work independently. The furnace is working well and I am getting heat. I trusted him to be here alone.

Routine service/maintenance call. Did a good job, cleaned filters, courteous and fast.No complaints.

It all went well. I think they should have brought a ladder to get to my furnance. Luckily, I had one.

Got coupon, called for appointment which I go within a few days. Technician showed up as scheduled, did not try to sell me additional products or services. My furnace was old enough that he could have told me I should get a new one, but he honestly said it is still good.

Guy came to the house on time, did the work, told me I did not need the entire service, then he left.

I ordered an Angie's list coupon for a furnace servicing. It was a great discount. The guy showed up on time, serviced the furnace, and showed me how dirty and awful the old filter was. I would definitely use them again.

Very good once they turned up. Booked a 2 hour window. No show. I Called an hour after he was supposed to be here and they said he would be awhile yet. I could't wait that long so rescheduled the next week. At the end of the next 2 hour window he called to say he is on the way. An hour after that he finally turned up. Once he arrived he got on with it and made some helpful suggestions. The only problem was he destroyed the filter while removing it and then told me he didn't have one and it was a special order size. So I couldn't use the old one while I waited for a new one.

These guys are awesome and were very nice. He was helpful and not pushy. I recommended them to a friend of mine.

It turned out fine. The value was incredible, and the price was really good.

Service man arrived during his scheduled time and performed the service check. he mad some recommendations. We are good to go.
