The service men were at the house the next day, were knowledgeable and efficient and respectful of the tenants living in the house. Later the tenants reported that the house was noticeably warmer than had been experienced earlier. The weather turned cold after the installation and they were very appreciative of the quick service and new furnace.

They showed up on time and provided all the work as indicated in the agreement. They also provided a written report that indicated further work needs to be done with our water heater.

Currently we have electric heating and it costs us a lot in the winter to heat our home so we were wanting to find something more cost efficient and warmer. This is when I had called Brennan Heating and Air Conditioning because we were thinking about installing a furnace as well as getting ductwork installed. They scheduled an appointment on the phone for one of their consultants to come out and meet with me, discussing our options. Ryan showed right on time (actually a few minutes early) and was very professional. He introduced me to the idea of installing a ductless heat pump in our house instead of a furnace and all new ducting. He explained it was by far more efficient and a lot cheaper to install. He seemed very knowledgeable about his product, a PSE rebate, and making sure our electrical box was big enough to add a new heat pump. I was very pleased Ryan. However we did decide to go with another company because of they had a cheaper bid.

BRENNAN HEATING AND AIR CONDITIONING did a great job. Service was as we discussed and I love the system can hardly wait to see how the air works. Rick and his crew were wonderful.

They were the only company who had a fixed price. Other companies would only offer a price range instead of an exact price. Patrick, the technician, was personable and effient. They were a pleasure to work with.

Tech showed up on time and inspected furnace within an hour. Informed me filters needed cleaning but didn't offer to clean them (the company I usually use does this as a courtesy). For the Angie's List price, I was OK with that. Would have them over again at that price.

They were excellent. We have been having some problems with our HEPA filter. It wasn't really cleaning like it should and he helps me understand that because I had other filters on the internal and on the return vents which was restructuring the airflow. He has to take those off and HEPA filters were working much better. He made sure that he cleaned the furnace and deal with other issues.

Initially I had signed up for an Angies big deal for a furnace inspection. The furnace hadn't been serviced for a long time and needed some additional work and replacement of some components. They came back and performed the work. Again prompt, pleasant and professional. The work peformed seemed a little expensive but I really don't have a frame of reference to evaluate.

I called to schedule this service and was not home at the time of the work. When we got home my husband looked at the furnace, and it was filthy. They didn't clean anything that we could tell, and they put a 1/2 inch crappy filter in place of what was supposed to be there - a 5 inch nice filter. it was disgusting and didn't really do anything except let a lot of crap into our home that shouldn't have been there. Then the next day the hot water heater went out. Too much of a coincidence I think. It was a pain in the rear to get the pilot lit again too. I called them and they claimed they had nothing to do with it. No help at all, just brushed me off like I was crazy. Never had a problem with our water heater before that. Now, we have this white foamy gunk eroding from our furnace pipes. It's like an overload of carbon waste or something. But clearly they didn't even bother to look at this. Now my husband is going to have to take his time off on the weekend and spend it cleaning our furnace! This was a complete rip off and I wish I had my money back so I could hire a real furnace company to come do the job properly!

We were very pleased with the entire process. They provided us a clear and straight forward estimate, which turned out to be the lowest bid we received. The installers were on time and their installation was of the highest quality. We will definitely use Brennan again in the future.

Furnace died the week before Christmas. Brennan rep at the house the next day, quoted the job, and installer was onsite the next morning. Had heat in just 2 days. Very competent procedure and crew. Thank you!

We'd had Brennan Heating out earlier in the year for a Water Heater inspection & tuneup. While the guy was here, I asked if they also did furnaces tuneups, as I wasn't even sure if ours had a filter. After he finished the water heater, he went and pulled off the furnace cover and showed me where the filter was hiding, and uh...yeah...it was pretty bad. The house had been a rental before we bought it, and I doubt the renters cleaned the filter...and then we ran the system for two years without cleaning it...Yikes. The whole furnace, the motor blades, the lights, everything...was plastered with sticky, thick dust and grime. He said the filter was the worst he'd seen. He told me what kind of filter to buy and showed me how to put it in, and, uh, STRONGLY recommended that we have someone back out to clean the furnace (not that I needed much convincing). The furnace stars must have aligned, because the next week there was a Big Deal from Brennan for furnace cleaning. I bought it right away. The tech worked pretty quickly--I don't think it even took an hour--and the inside of my furnace looked like clean metal and plastic instead of a grey-brown Muppet. He cleaned up after himself, and wore booties even though our floors are in terrible shape and I told him he didn't have to. We didn't have our vents/ducts cleaned for several months because of ongoing drywall work, but even so, the airflow seemed to improve right away after the furnace cleaning (I think the motor was pretty gunked up) and the interior of the furnace is still nice and clean (I bought washable filters and change them out monthly now).

They arrived on time, were polite, and did good work. They respond quickly to emergencies as well.

They came and could not service my model. They are very honest. I have used them before and I really like them.

So to put this in a nutshell, I purchased what I thought was a professional check up or tuneup for my 6 year old furnace via Angie's Deals. A gentleman came out to our home and while nice enough, proceeded to look over the furnace. That was all that was covered under the check up. Having had other companies come out in the past for about the same amount of money and replace the filters and minor items included, I was expecting the same. Instead, I received a call from my husband who was home with the technician, informing me that this and that would need to be replaced and the apprroximate cost would be 100.00. This was in addition to the $68 that I had already paid for the "deal". I could have received the same service from another local company paying $89 for the visit and the routine maintenance part that was replaced. This should have been part of the "clean" part of my deal according to another company I called. This was the second "deal" that was no deal. Will never purchase anothone one again and will never deal with Brennan, while they are probably very good at what they do, they should not have advertised one thing and charged for it also.

Overall I will use them again.

I first had someone come out to service my old furnace. I knew that it was getting time to replace my furnace, and the rep talked about efficiency standards changing in 2013 and that the cost of furnaces were going up quite a bit (I had heard about this). He gave me prices on new furnaces, and I chose one and set up a date to have it installed. My issues are with the installation. I was scheduled between 11am and 1pm for them to arrive. They showed up at my door two hours early. Good thing I was home. The installation process took a lot of effort on their part (drilling a new hole in my foundation, etc.) and they were here for quite a while. They supposedly cleaned up after themselves, explained the new thermostat and other important information to me, and left. When I got to the utility room, I saw that even though they had swept and picked up after themselves, it was still a mess. It took me an hour to clean it up. The thing that bothers me the most is that they scraped up a linoleum floor I have between the door and the utility room. Shouldn't they have good padding when working in people's homes with heavy equipment? What they used looked like a small sheet that didn't cover much. I'm very disappointed about this. I'm reluctantly giving them an overall grade of B, only because all of their other service was pretty good.

I know Brennan is a good rated on angie's list...however this is what happened to me. My heat pump kept blowing a fuse. I called Brennan and just before they came, I reset the fuse and the heat pump turned on. When the service tech arrived, he flatly said he could not do nor check anything because it's running fine!!! Then charged me $100 for showing up!! After WA energy service came out and replaced some buss fuses, I realized the very least Brennan could have done is to check the electrical system. And the Brennan tech refused to check the freon pressure nor lubricate my fan motor because that wasn't what he was called for!! I feel cheated and should have filed a complaint with the State Attorney General.

This is a revisit of my review posted on 01/15/13. The people from the Company were quick to reach out to me and redress my query. I would agree with their explanation that this deal was only for the Single stage speed 80% efficiency unit and installation. The inquiry I had were for 2 different models which are outside the scope of this deal. However, they explained the costs and assured of good service. I don't doubt their promise as they have been in business for a long time and I was glad to see that they take their commitment to such a high level. SP
