the ceiling light went great. very well done. the reason for the B grade was that I had other work done too. Most of it went great. All well explained etc. The one thing that went wrong was a fixture was installed badly and I have to get it reinstalled. The Tech didn't have the correct parts on his truck so he "made do" but it will have to be redone.

The four recessed lights were installed on 11/18, and the electrician showed up right on time. He installed all four cans and a dimmer switch with no problems. They look great, and give the room a larger appearance. I've used Brennan Electric two previous times and have never been disappointed. Great company.

At first he didnt have a tall enough ladder but he left and was back within the hour with another ladder and installed my light... Very accomodating and professional.

Regrettably, the electrician (I've forgotten his name :-/) was unable to add the switch because of joists under the house (?). However, he was able to fix the outlet (it was an incredibly stupid problem that I should have figured out myself, but I didn't) and did a safety inspection to reassure me that the old knob and tube wiring in half my house wasn't going to kill me.

The problem was fixed very well. The person explained the problem clearly and informed me about extra cost beforehand. I was a little upset that he arrived at the end of the time slot provided even-though it was the first job of the day.

Owner Josh scheduled me 3 weeks out saying he was busy and after 3 weeks, he didn't show up and rescheduled me out another week and after missing this appointment - I pretty much laid into him about his lack of functionality. He rescheduled again and the person finally showed up (3 hours late). Person was very slow and said he had a hangover from partying the night before. The electrician appeared to still be learning and his company van had wires, volt meters, breaker boxes, misc laying all over the floor of the van as opposed to being on shelves. The person wasn't able to finish and said to reschedule --- I called Josh and he rescheduled and never showed up. I wasn't able to receive a refund from Angies because it was more than 30 days (lesson learned - make sure you're not scheduled out too far). Anyhow, Angies was a bust and so was Josh from Brennan Electric

He showed up one hour late and did not fix my problem. He said there was power there, but a "dropped neutral"? His recommended fix was to "install a new 200 amp electrical panel and run a new circuit".

They sent a young guy who 'seemed' to know what he was doing. He put in the thermostat but did not test it. Big mistake. After he was gone I tried to turn on the furnace. No luck. No heat. Bad deal. I immediately called Brennan and told them I had no heat. To their credit they said they'd send someone else right away. They did and this time - bingo. The thermostat, incidentally, was a Honeywell wi-fi model, operated via a smartphone app. Requires a C-wire which I did not have. But the Brennan guy figured out a way around that obstacle and the result was success. So credit to Brennan for standing behind their work.
