Description of Work: Randy came to my home on time and examined the outside faucet with the leak. He tried several things to stop the leak, but was unable to do so. He was courteous, friendly and professional. He explained very well how the plumbing worked.

Description of Work: I asked Best Plumbing to evaluate a slow drain. All the plumbing in the 60+ year old house all funnels into one drain and was backing up into the bathtub. They snaked the drain removing the debris and cleared the problem. The plumber was helpful in avert other problems by recommending other ways to care for possible problems.

Description of Work: The plumber repaired our toilet tank well, but did end up breaking the pipe and so I ended up paying more than I thought I would even with the discount coupon. He did not charge me the entire cost of the pipe which was good, but I paid about half the price. Would I use them again, yes, they were pretty efficient overall.

Description of Work: Had 'set up' an appointment for Best Plumbing to evaluate our hot water heater for 9/29/12 at 2pm. They call at 2pm and cancelled the appointment. The same time they were supposed to be there. I have no hot water & needed them to determine " what was wrong" to satisfy the home warranty insurance policy I have. Due to their cancellation .. I won't be able to get my water heater situation resolved until possibly mid next week dealing with an insurance company. They rescheduled .. decided to not use them .. not dependable.

Description of Work: We called for a leaky faucet. The plumber said it must have been debris in the faucet but that it apparently had cleared itself. I suggested possibly she should change the washer to be safe since she was already here, so she did. We paid $50 for $125 worth of service. the additional amount she charged was $152.90 That means we paid $202.90 to have a washer changed, but we paid $50 for $125. worth of service, so we actually paid $277.90. My wife wrote the check as I was just arriving home from an appointment. The plumber was at our home for just under one hour meaning we paid $277.90 per hour, or actually a bit more. I sure wouldn't call that good service, and would never refer Best Plumbing to anyone. I've been in Real Estate 28 years and have a network of vendors. We took advantage of an Angies Coupon deal to get $125 worth of plumbing for $50 and instead got a washer changed for $277. This is the largest rip-off I've ever had. Anyway...not a good experience at all!

Specifically, we had a worn out bathtub faucet valve replaced that was causing water to leak out of the faucet when we took a shower. The service person knew exactly what to do and fixed the problem with a part from his shop. He was prompt, friendly and knowledgeable. We wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Description of Work: When I built our home in 1979, the plumber installing the supply pipes installed too large a shut off valve for the ice maker. When I disovered the stem on the shut off leaked, I shut it off and left it. Finally got around to calling Best for a bid. I Spoke with Brian about an appointment. Rod showed up at the appointed time, reviewed the problem and had it repaired in a matter of 40 minutes. He not only replaced the shut off valve with the proper size connection for the ice maker, he removed a series of reducing connections installed by the folks who installed the refrigerator. Very professional and knowledgeable. Would use Best Plumbing again should the need arise.
