Description of Work: Date of service is approximate; my total cost was $300.00 based on rates et al; which caught me off guard, but my error not theirs I paid total of $300.00 for $400.00 worth of work. Had dual sink and bathtub unplugged. Was thinking it was pipes (old home) but was just very plugged and good snake resolved both issues; He was fast, professional, nice and willing to answer any and all questions I posed. He was upfront with costs and clarified everything before moving ahead with the work. I would use them again.

Description of Work: I purchased a $72 Big Deal for $130 worth of Plumbing Services. We had an appointment, but I ended up having to go to work. At that point, I had called and canceled a few times prior so I just left it at that. We didn’t get in touch with each other again and they didn’t end up doing any work.

Description of Work: This was a very UNFORTUNATE experience and could be best described as terrible communication, although some might describe it as an "intended ambiguity". The original offer was "Description: |Best Plumbing, "A" rated company on Angie's List, is offering $125 worth of any plumbing service for only $50 to our members!" |The repair person arrived promptly and gave a polite, professional analysis of the situation which was to replace a sink faucet and install a separate drinking water filter. I had previously purchased the parts. |I was informed in a clear and professional manner that this type of work is not done on an hourly basis, and that it would be difficult to find any licensed plumber who would provide the service on an hourly basis. I was quoted a fixed price that, in my opinion, was extremely high ($500-$600) for the installation. |My problem is that the original offer/coupon SHOULD HAVE CLEARLY STATED that installations or much plumbing work is only done on fixed price basis. If I had known this I would have asked for additional clarification before purchasing the coupon. In the end I just gave up the $50 coupon and found another licensed plumber who did the installation for much, much less on an hourly basis. |
