Best Plumbing

They show up when they said they would, charged what they said they would, they were great.

Got information, asked questions, got answers then ordered numerous items. Items arrived in a timely manner.

Best failed pretty badly in this instance. The first impression that I got when calling them was alright, but rather than having me talk to someone that was technically knowledgeable I was simply scheduled for an appointment by the person that answered the phone - that was a mistake on their part. On the call I explained that I was in the process of buying the building and since I didn't own it yet I couldn't dictate the appointment date and time, but rather was constrained by the owner's schedule and an agreed upon date and time. Best was able to plan for that date. On the day of the appointment I called about 45 minutes prior to my appointment time to just confirm that they were running on time. When they answered and I explained who I was, I was told that they were just about to call me to let me know that the plumber they had scheduled for the appointment wasn't really qualified to evaluate and quote all of the items on my punch list and that they were going to have a different, qualified person call me to schedule an appointment. I explained that I couldn't schedule a new appointment, that the date and time we had agreed upon several days earlier was the only opportunity (the real estate transaction was on a contractual deadline) and so if they couldn't send someone out as planned then they need not bother to try scheduling another appointment. I was told that an effort would be made to see if they could send someone out and that I should expect a call back within the hour. I never got another phone call from them. So, they clearly failed to deliver and they failed to keep their commitment to call me back after they had put me in a real bind.

We completely remodeled our bathroom. In order the save money many of the bathroom fixtures where purchased online (different company). A few of the items bathtub and toilets where purchased from Best Plumbing. The sales rep was very helpful with selection and pro/cons of the items. Their prices were slightly higher than online but they were not retail. Items were special ordered but they were very punctual on receiving the items and calling me since we were on a tight schedule.

Gene called me back and set up a time for coming out. He was here on time and went through checking for water pressure and any other leaks. He concluded that the dampness around the joint entering the crawl space was normal and he felt no need to replace the line from the meter as we had been told prior. I thanked him but decided to have other companies to come out and verify his finding just in case.

I was given the choice of repairing the old toilet or purchasing a new one.The prices would have been relatively equal. I therefore chose to have a new toilet installed. However, I felt that the prices were a bit high.

John was so great. He came right out within a couple hours of calling. He had the job completed within an hour. Truly fantastic service and the price seemed very fair!.

They fixed the brake in our sewer line and hired a sub contractor to pipeline it. I thought they just did a fine job. They came in and did what I asked. They did it at the price they quoted. They returned my cause in a prompt manner. In general I was happy with them. I got six quotes and the price Best Plumbing gave me was competitive. They were very punctual. The salesperson was a little on the cooler side but then that was just his personality. He was very well informed about the process. He responded to my questions in a timely manner and got the information I asked for, very quickly. He satisfied all my concerns. The workers were courteous and prompt. They did okay with the clean up but not great. They did some concrete siding and didn't wash it up. There was dust on the concrete and I had to wash it. They did a pretty good job. They refilled the holes and everything but the driveway had a quite a lot of dirt on it. Their price was very competitive although it wasn't unexpected expense for us. I got six bids and they agreed to match the other lowest bid. I would say the price was good and very competitive. Their quality of work was fine.

They submitted one of three estimates telling exactly what they would do and what was needed. They waited until the committee met and voted. When notified they promptly agreed on a good schedule and we knew what we had to do to clear the space for the digging and for how long( it was under a parking lot actively used). They brought in the appropriate equipment, dug the entrance ditch, kept the place clean, dealt with surprises like an old septic tank in the way, used wisdom in safety issues and covered the space afterwards all in a very professional manner. We knew what they were doing throughout and they stayed in budget. Very very pleased.

I would like to take a minute to tell you how wonderful Joshua has been for our properties. He is always on time and gives me the best service and advice. He is very attentive to our needs. I thank you for sending him out to me. He is a true treasure to have. I could not ask for a better person/plumber. Thank you

Bryan, I wanted to say thank you. When my entire bathroom started reversing grey water into the house at 6am yesterday, I called a couple of plumbers close by and they either didn’t call back or said they couldn’t come out. When it finally occurred to me to call Best, you not only picked up the phone before business hours, you made sure I’d have someone out ASAP, and gave me an ETA of two hours. Exactly 2 hours later, Phil knocked on my door. He was professional, fast, and a pleasure to work with. He explained things to my husband and me, and was patient with our questions. He gave us a bunch of tips that will help us maintain our pipes ongoing, and he had some upgrade suggestions for us as well. We had a huge main line clog, and when the water reversed direction, it forced parts of the clog into the sink, shower and toilet, so he really had his work cut out for him. It took him a few hours, but he never once sounded frustrated or like he had to hurry off to the next job. He didn’t even laugh at us when we realized that my husband had snaked the vent, not the sink drain, in his attempts to clear it. I truly appreciate the fantastic service, and have already raved about you guys on the West Seattle Blog, so expect some West Seattle business to come your way. J Thank you, again, for everything! Hello, I looked on your website for a place to give feedback, but couldn?t find anywhere? just wanted to drop a note to let you know how impressed I was with the service from Phil Hendrickson today. I was fortunate to be able to get him in to deal with plumbing issues at my home? he was highly knowledgeable and efficient? great to work with? I?ll be asking for him specifically next time we need help, as he was the best I?ve dealt with. Thanks

He was an underground manager and well versed on what needs to be done. I received a bid very promptly from him but I put the estimate aside because two of their pages were fine print for terms and conditions. It was off putting and when I sign multi-paged contracts I like would say that the whole thing was beyond the norm. In comparison to the two other companies that I received bids from they are lower and I was impressed with the gentleman that came out to provide the estimate.

Best Plumbing (Colin) came over and provided an estimate for acquiring and installing a Everpure water filtration system and a stainless faucet to go with it. He referred me to a tile company that could drill the necessary holes in our marble slab counter. After having the holes drilled and the parts ordered I arranged for the install. Unfortunately they missed their appointment window by over an hour and never called to let me know. I had to leave the house and arrange for another install. After complaining to them that this was unacceptable they apologized, informed me that they had an emergency and offered me a discount for the inconvenience. I was very impressed by how they made this mistake right as I believe that any delay in a service appt should at least result in a call to let me know rather than just waiting around for no one to show up. Colin came up the following day and installed the system. I was extremely happy with the knowledge and time Colin took to explain all the options to me and the work he was doing. We are very happy with the system. My feeling is that Best is a bit on the expensive side, but they are professionals and provide great service.

The work was fine but I think we paid way too much for it. We should have gotten a second bid.

They are certified plumbers. They were very nice and they explained what they had to do to take care of the problem. I would definitely call them for any future plumbing issues. Their prices were considerably lower than the previous plumbing company we had out.

I though they did a nice job. I use for another company for indoor plumbing but they do not do exterior plumning so I use Best.

Expensive for a simple repair. Used a cheap part.

It went very well. There were some surprises along the way with the piping. It added a little price with those mishaps, but all in all the sinks look well done without much damage at all.

The ordering went fine. I had done all the research already and knew what I wanted. But the sales person ordered a $150 strainer I had never mentioned. When I called to question the invoice, she was curt and said it was standard. When it came in and we saw that it was a COLANDER, we returned it, and she was rude to my husband when he questioned why she had ordered it. A few weeks later we decided we wanted a second sink rack, and I went in to order it. I was told it would take a week, and I would be called if any longer. After 2 weeks, I called, and was told it was back-ordered another week. This went on for a few more weeks, with my calls not being returned, and not being advised of the delays. It seems the order is more important than service.

Matt showed up very quickly; nice guy with clean truck, etc. He began the job and realized that he did not have the parts on the truck and had to leave and drive to his office in Issaquah to pick up parts. Returned in an hour and spent two more hours on the job. Work was good and the work area was kept clean, however as with many other review for Best Plumbing (with different addresses but same company) all of us found them overpriced. We have a local plumber who would have done this for $200 but he was booked for two days.

They basically did what they had to do. It was a pretty simple task and they did it well. I can't complain about anything and I would recommend this company to other people looking for the same services.

I thought they did a good job. They were very friendly and on time. They were a little too pricey for the type of work that he did, but other than that they were okay. I feel that I was over charged, though.

Ironically, the name really suits them as they get the job done in a timely manner and it is always right. The workers are very professional and they really know what they are doing. I would recommend them to anyone.

They have excellent service, plus they were clean and neat. They arrived on time and one thing I really loved was the great pricing as they even offered a senior discount, which really helped me.
