He was on time, respected my no shoes policy and was extremely professional and organized. He replaced all the valves and advised me that for the rest of the water damage I should call my insurance company right away- this was most likely a homeowner's claim. He was right and gave me much needed advice and I'm thankful for that. |

Outstanding. Best responded within 1 hour of our call. Steve Marek was the technician. Steve was very professional, courteous and friendly. He described the work to be performed, the parts I would have to purchase and showed me the price list and with my approval began work. I estimate approximately 30 minutes later he was finished. Steve explained to me the history of the old parts and why we had the problem. He stacked the old parts in a container making it easy fo disposal; he even cleaned up some of the water that I had spilled. I strongly recommend Best Plumbing and Steve Marek if you need plumbing work.

I bought their Big Deal for $119 for $200 of service. As soon as the man walked in he stated that it would be a minimum of $240 to fix garbage disposal. I had to sign a paper and then it took him less than 30 seconds to pull the item out of the disposal. I asked him if he was still going to charge the full amount and he replied that I had signed the paper. He then asked if there was something else that I needed done so I didn't have to pay the upfront cost for him to come back. That's when I decided about the toilets. He came back with two toilets and installed them and also said they included the toilet seats. Then later he said he was mistaken and that they were not included and that they would cost an additional $107 a piece. And that was the special discount. I was very disappointed in the lack of integrity when it came to the charges.

I had someone over to give an estimate. The technician was very courteous and said we needed one simple part that costs about $5 to fix the part. He said he could do the work, but it would be well over $200. You pay for the labor, travel and parts. I decided to get the parts on my own.

Randy was friendly and thorough. Once he figured out the problem with our dishwasher's set-up (electrical issue: the dishwasher was being used as a junction between two outlets), he explained what had been done before and how it needed to be corrected, and then he did the plumbing piece. We still need to have an electrician come out and hook up one of the outlets, but we now have a working dishwasher and no danger of fires. I will always call Best Plumbing when I need work done. They've consistently been ready to answer questions and see problems through.

What started as a check for some moisture in the crawlspace led to basically new pipes under the house, a new pipe out to the septic, new piping under the downstairs toilet, new toilet installation and then a minor repair on the dishwasher overflow. They offered ways to help us reduce the cost such as excavating to the pipes in the ground ourselves. The plumber was very nice and I would recommend Best Plumbing highly.

We had purchased big deal for the service, and it turned out okay. We paid more than what was on the big deal because the work that they did was more. They had informed us of all extra charges before they did the work.

He originally came to my house and give me an estimate. However he said he was able to do the work same day and would also honor a Big Deal, which I then purchased while he was working. He did a great job. He was on time and professional. I would highly recommend him to others

Jon came out for a free quote. He put on covers over his shoes, came in and took one look at our old cracked wall-mount and gave us a "menu" price to install a new one. Most places I called charge by the hour almost 200.00 and could only tell me that it might take 2-3 hours. He went back to his office and after a few days of reseach he found only two options for us since there is not a good selection for residential wall-mount toilets. We went w/ a $400.00 Gerber toilet. He called when it came in and we scheduled a time to intsall. He also brought out a slow close toilet seat that I requested from their showroom and installed that free of charge. He and a partner came and installed it in maybe an hour! They were very proffessional, went staight to work and left the bathroom cleaner than when they came! They hauled away the 50 year old one, and all the packaging that came with the new.

They came out within a day to give us a quote. We called several other companies, and no one else responded quickly. They did a great job and we would use them again. The only issue we had is that there was a storm, and our project got a little delayed because Best Plumbing was dealing with flooding issues from other customers. We were never without plumbing overnight so wasn't a big issue, but we couldn't let our dogs outside unsupervised for 3 weeks when they told us the project would take only 1 week. Other than that, we have nothing but great things to say.

Well the plumber came in and he did not replace anything. He fixed a problem pretty fast in about five minutes, he was pretty professional and my satisfaction for the job was pretty high. My main concern and issue here for which I am not so satisfied is that I bought for $ 130 something dollars worth of labor and the plumber shows up and basically, what I have been told is that he is probably supposed to have a five or 10 minutes there checking the problems. The deal that I bought was not enough to cover those expenses, I had to pay extra. So if you are charging $ 150 to show up only for five or 10 minutes in my house then I think that is very very expensive. I had thought that will be covered by the initial purchase. A simple problem was fixed by them, I know you need some expertise for this and it is great, but 10 minutes of work for $ 150. They also charged me extra $ 39, it is too expensive and they already charged me $ 230 for Angie's list account. Had it been even half an hour of work, is not enough. And there were no parts to replace. It means that I have actually basically paid $ 169 for that amount of work. I think it is abusive.

They quoted us one price when then came out. After mentioning to them we bought the coupon from Angie's List the price had tripled. They said they would take the $200 off for the coupon. We got 4 quotes and none of the quotes were even close to what they had quoted us after knowing we had the coupon. We went with someone else for the work.

Everything worked out fine. They were very quick on the job and they were professional. They came out 3-4 hours after I had called to schedule the appointment and it was on Saturday which was even better.

The technician arrived on time, assessed the situation and started work quickly. In a little over an hour, he had a new kitchen faucet installed. Something we've needed for long time to replace a leaky faucet. He also gave me some good advice on replacing our outdated toilets. We purchased an Angie's Deal and it was a good way to try Best Plumbing.

They came over and informed me that the stated value of the deal only covered changing on flap in my toilet. I have changed the flaps in my own toilets for years, as this is a procedure involving a cheap part you can get at Lowes or Home Depot for $5 or less. I had two toilets that required and light service, which they told me would cost at least $300. They were extremely disrespectful to me and tried to take advantage. I would never use this company again in the future. I personally recommend that Angie's List remove this provider from their database.

Very well. I thought I needed drain cleaning, but it wasn't necessary. They only charged me $49.00 which I paid directly.

We had purchased a big deal for the service, and it turned out very well. We paid more than was on the big deal. Their work appeared to be quality work. I thought the price was a little expensive, but it was on short notice, so I can't really complain.

Did not think original order went through and ordered again and didn't think that went through either. I Call Angie's List to see what the problem was. They said both orders had gone though and they sent a refund form for the one ordered in error.

Plumber arrived on time. Had a theory what was causing the problem which turned out to be the cause. Change the shut off control under sink and problem fixed. Cleaned up after himself and was fast and efficient.

I was getting a few estimates from different plumbers on replacing my kitchen sink.

I purchased a big deal from Angie's List and their services turned out to be not to good. I had identified the things I wanted done and they kind of came back with an estimate that was quite high, so I decided not to use them. I had some leakage in the bathroom and they said ultimately it would cost this much to fix it off and I just wanted to stop the leaks, they quoted me a total replacement of some faucets and things like that and it was way higher than I anticipated. So, I told them no I did not want that. For the big deal, there were two outside faucets that were leaking and he put a washer in and tightened it for me and that is it. He provided me good information. He was very responsive.

I reached out to Best Plumbing for two reasons: we'd used them before for an emergency frozen pipe situation and they had a coupon for Anglei's List members. We needed an outside faucet installed to make watering our newly built front yard planters easier. Arranging the service was a snap; a mix of e-mail and phone calls and I had an appointment a few days later. The plumber who came out was polite, professional, and knowledgeable. Due to the way our house and yard is laid out we went for a free standing pump-style faucet. A bid was made quickly provided and, thankfully, the plumber was able to do the work that day. The plumber went away for a few hours to collect parts and supplies. He returned quickly and got right to work. He was efficient; the faucet was installed in a matter of hours. The work was high quality; he explained what he was doing as he did it, which helped me understand what I was buying. The faucet is still working great. We will use Best for all our plumbing needs moving forward.

Very easy to set up appt, which was kept punctually. This is a very professional company. There was an apprentice along who did the work under the supervision of the plumber. When the work was finished, I was asked to test the faucets, but I did not, trusting that they were the professionals. Later, DH noticed that the shower handle was very stiff and that the faucet was dripping. Called the next day and the plumbers returned the following day. They (the same apprentice supervised by the same plumber) installed a new rebuild kit and the faucet now operates smoothly with no drip. Not sure if we would use this provider again--I say yes; DH says no.

I expected that $200 worth of plumbing service would have covered the cost of replacing a shower cartridge or the springs and rubber pieces of a delta shower cartridge. I'm not willing to pay $480+ for this so I'll have to request reimbursement for the $119. Lesson learned - need to call the company and schedule an appointment for an estimate prior to buying any coupon.
