Best Plumbing

The appointment process was easy and quick. The gentleman showed up promptly and thought through various solutions to my problem. He settled on one that solved all my needs with the least amount of cost involved.

Sends out employees who aren't licensed plumbers to do work! Employees act unethically starting a job without providing quote giving the impression they're being paid by the time and parts. Be warned they provided the absolutely worst customer experience of my life!

We had several issues that needed repair. For our kitchen faucet line he came and looked and said he could not fix it until we gave him the manufacturer of the faucet. That was sent to him and we never heard back. he did not do anything for the other issues. We hired another plumber who came in and repaired everything. A total waste of the money we paid for the deal.

The installation of the sink appeared to be a challenge since I had an old house with old plumbing, but it seems to be working well. Installation of new on/off lever for main water worked well. However, I asked that the plumber fix my dripping tub and shower faucet attached to an old clawfoot tub; he took the washers out and said he did not know how to fix it and did not know where I could go next for washers. Said the only option would be to buy new plumbing. I spent hours researching and found someone at Old and Elegant Restoration in Bellevue on Main who took the time to find washers that would work. I would have hoped that Best Plumbing could at least have pointed me in a direction rather than leave me hanging; it was a plumbing question after all.

They came quickly and did a good job. The guy was here for 45 min. I just thought that they were expensive and even with the coupon, it wasn't a very good deal.

She replaced the sealant and did some work on my toilet. I was happy with the service, there was little hassle. She was very good at her job.

Basement flooded with fresh water. Leak was in the wall. Turned off entry water and called for emergency service. The fellow that came was on time, professional, found the problem quickly and totally fixed it. Absolutely top rate service..

Several plumbers came out to try their hand at fixing it, and Best was the first to succeed. A previous plumber (from a different company) had stripped the screw out while trying to fix it, compounding the damage and complicating the fix. While Best was able to get the job done, I didn't feel like they tried too hard to control the expense of what should have been a minor project (two visits, custom order part). In all fairness, I'm likely being overly h****** Best because they had to clean up the mess of the people that came before them, though.

Went fine; showed up on time, gave an estimate of the work on the spot, and completed it on the same visit. They had to cut into the wall to do the work which is understandable, but they didn't tell me that any patch-work was not included until there was already a hole in my wall. Again, understandable but it would have been nice to know up front.

It was very good. They were on time and prompt. They solved a problem within 5 minutes.

We had a leak in our upstairs bathroom that had filled the light fixture directly below the leak. Since it was a snowy night, and we had to wait anyway, we turned off the water lines to avoid further damage and I contacted Angies List to get a better rate. After several days of not hearing from the plumber, we got an out-of-town relative to fix it while he was visiting.

It went great. I have used them before to repair a gas leak in a termination plate. Got the job done quick. Very pleased.

It worked out really well. There was an extra $100 charge. The work was done in a professional way. It has not leaked. He was quite and did not leave a mess. I couldn't have done it better myself! I'm not disputing that extra charge but I was surprised that there was an extra charge because I know how long it takes to do these things. I'm the one who put in the previous garbage disposal. He came out shortly after the deal was purchased. I liked the technician.

I think it was just fine. They came when they said they would.

They were prompt and came out on time. He gave estimates for the (3) different jobs I was looking to do but I felt the prices were way too high.

I had originally purchased a Big Deal for this company, but it turned out that I didn?t need it. I had a difficult situation and I wasn?t sure anyone would be able to solve it very well. The first guy that came out was unable to fix the problem. We had a side sewer that was plugged with grease, so he requested a guy with a video camera to come out. This guy took the time that was needed to figure out what was needed and got the job done right. I was a little disappointed that the first person didn?t take the time to figure out what was wrong. However, it was unclogged but it does need repaired. Since then, I have used them again for a different plumbing project.

It went fine. It took several hours.

They came out and looked at the situation and said that I needed a small thing done. I wanted them to put in some new caulking, and it’d cost an outrageous amount to do the caulking around the tub. They did show up on time, but I didn’t get to use the coupon.

I called Best plumbing to say that I had no hot water, and also, I had a leak from an upstairs bathroom (2 unrelated occurrences). The plumber from Best said that the elements had failed in my hot water heater, and I would need a new hot water heater. The quote for a new heater was $997.45 plus tax, and I didn't know if that included labor or not. Then he looked at the leak and said it was a leaking drain pipe and that would cost $539 to fix. I called a different company for an estimate and then to do the work. The drain pipe repair cost me $262.80. The new tank is being installed today. The plumber will move the tank from under the house to into the garage. An Angie's list electrician (24/7) will then wire the new tank. I would appreciate the $119 back, as I will not be calling Best for any plumbing work. I think their prices are too high.

James was very fast and very polite.

That took care of the long running time after flushing. They were courteous and timely.

It was a pretty simple job that went without a hitch.

The guy that came was very much a perfectionist. The refrigerator that I chose has to have like a water dispenser filter for the waterline and you could only put it on the side of the wall like hidden on the wall so it is not standing out when you walk into the kitchen and he set it up three different ways until he was satisfied with where he placed it and how it looked aesthetically. I was not even home then and he was here with my husband and my husband did not really care where he placed it but the guy placed it and then said, "No, that does not look right," and rearranged it. And when I got home, it was just in the perfect spot, so I did appreciate his perfectionism and his being very meticulous about where it was going. The price went a little over the price of the big deal but he was really good. I would absolutely use him again in the future.

The first visit out to our rental property was on November,6,2013 we had a clogged drain that needed to be fixed they completed work and with the discount of my big deal our charge was $537.31 for the work that was completed. The drain at our rental property had became clogged a second time my husband made a appointment for Best Plumbers to come out that friday the week of November,22,2013 to have a pipe replaced to solve the clogging drain issue for good. The company was suppose to call my husband on Friday morning and let them know they were coming out to our rental property to complete the work so he could meet them there. It turns out that Wednesday the company had a cancelation and went out to our rental property and completed the work without our knowledge. They dug a trench under the kitchen window and replaced the pipe they stated needed to be replaced to fix our issue. However since no one was there we did not get to see the work being completed. The total for them to complete that work was $985.50 and according to this company this should have solved our issues for good. On November,12,2013 the same drain at our rental property clogged again a third visit form Best Plumbing was needed they came to snake our drain and now they are trying to charge an additional $256.18. I am very unhappy with the outcome of this whole process. I have most recently spoke with a Josh who I am unaware if this is the owner of the company or just an employee to let them know about how unhappy my husband and I are with all three visits and charges. The problem has not been fixed.

The estimate for the faucet replacement in our shower was over $900. This seemed way to expensive. This company charges by "the job", not by the hour. I called another company that charged by the hour and the faucet was replaced for $375.
