The provider came out and just looked at the kitchen and master bath. Here recommendations were some what generic. New cabinets or paint existing cabinets. Our current cabinets are custom solid Oak. I can not see us ever painting them or replacing them. Counter top and back splash will need to be done. Floor and most of the appliances will need to be replaced. We new that. Same goes for the master bath. We know what should be done but did not get a feel what changes or the level of changes that would improvements would give us the biggest payback. We may be at the point where we have the house appraised at it's current state and work with a RE person to establish a price that gives prospective buyers some room to make the improvements they want when they want to do them.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was pretty good. There were no extra charges. What's good is she did what she was supposed to do, she helped me pick out colors and she listened to me. One thing I could say is she's not that approachable. I felt comfortable but she was not that engaged. For the price, it was pretty good with the promotion. I may want to try some other companies if I need to.

The service turned out good. The price was good because we had purchased an Angie's List deal, but without that, it would be very pricey.

Gina thoroughly examined each area of our house that we were concerned about and gave us excellent ideas about how to upgrade. She gave us resources for painters and contractors, helped us pick colors for walls, and even met us at a store to help us make some choices about products. She was great to work with and i will definitely hire her in the future for any additional design/decorator work. We are very impressed with her knowledge and efficiency.

She is great. She is very straightforward, she is very efficient, she was good at keeping time and she helped me pick the colors that I need. The price was very good.

It went well. She was very personable and had some good ideas. She took the time to listen to what we needed and came up with some ideas for us.

Going very well, no problems whatsoever. She has a good decorator sense, listened carefully me. My job is not complex, I have clear ideas and tastes, and a budget, and she is an excellent fit for my situation. I plan to use her for changes to my kitchen when this project is finished.

We recently purchased what we believed to be a "move-in-ready" retirement dream home. However, once vacated & empty, it was unfortunately obvious...the need for a full interior face-lift. So...as a "treat to self"...Interior Design consultation! Our resource for EVERYTHING....Angie's List. Belle Maison Interior Design was our choice. I initally contacted Gina, explaining our situation, and if she might have time for us in her busy schedule and our move-in date impacted, she found a good time for us to meet and gave me some homework! Bring fabric swatches & photos of furniture pieces. Once we did a tour of the entire home and every nook and cranny, all the while discussing where we'd like this and that to go, she got right down to the paint suggestions and decisions were made! I was happy to get them main floor planned, but no...Gina was great, moving me along and paint colors chosen to complement/enhance our furniture, accent pieces and our taste in every room! She was very quick to explain why certain paint finishes, ie. flat, satin, eggshell, etc., would be best in the different rooms for this novice! In less than 24 hours, Gina emailed all the details of our consultation, and learning this is considered a "big" job, an interior painting reference who can do 18' walls & ceilings! I can't express just how wonderful it was to have this weight off my shoulders! Gina...Thank you so much!!!

She asked me what I liked: and we tweaked the color layouts from there. She was not bossy and did listen to my ideas and concerns. As a professional and with the ability to see the 'whole picture' (which I'm not good at) she came up with a palate. Just now (June 2013) finishing painting and it looks good. Friends also compliment me on the color scheme but I have to tell them someone else helped me!

Gina was very easy to work with and we think she had great design/style sense.

The company did excellent work, the consultant was very professional, we found them to be responsive to our needs and we will be using their service moving forward.

We've wanted to repaint our kitchen for a while but had not been able to pick a direction - do we choose a color that works with our granite island, or with the cherry cabinets. Gina provided fresh color ideas that would work with both the granite and cabinets. Our major remodel/addition a few years ago gave us a huge new living space, but one that was difficult for us to split into "separate" areas. Gina gave us lots of suggestions on how to use the furniture that we have to better effect, as well as ideas on lighting, flooring and window treatments for future projects.

She showed up on time, we reviewed paint colors and walked through the house.

We were very pleased to work with Gina. She was very easy to work with. She knows her stuff and is very professional.

The designer responded promptly. I gave her a few things I was hoping to get ideas on. We set up a date and she gave thoughtful input on some lighting/furniture/art placement that I hope to work on. We had an easy and useful conversation and she passed on some references I could check out on line. There was no pressure to purchase anything, but I would consider using her expertise again in the future. It was $100 well spent!

'My husband and I had recently purchased and moved into a two-story house in the country and I needed decorating and design ideas for the living, dining and bonus room. We have evergreens surrounding our house and I didn't really know whether we needed window treatments as we don't need them for privacy, Gina helped me understand how window treatments would enhance and bring warmth into the rooms without needing to be functional but could be for used as a decorative element. I had done some research on Houzz and had several ideas of what I thought might work and Gina listened to my suggestions, added her own and gave me ideas to plan towards in terms of future remodeling and interior design. She selected several items from carpets to window treatments for my consideration and gave me feedback on what we had done so far. We have an long living room with a bay window and based upon configuration, I didn't know what do with part of the room and after discussion, Gina and I were able to come up with a solution that will give a portion of the room an additional function but still tie it in to the main conversation area. She also gave me feedback on various pieces of art we had and how I could pick up color to use as accents through-out the rooms. One thing I really appreciated was that after her initial visit, Gina made herself available for meeting me to pick out various items from carpets to drapes etc. and gave me feedback on other items I selected for purchase to accessorize the rooms. Since our house is still a work in progress, I will continue to work with Gina as we move through the process of turning our 'house' into 'home.'

We look forward to continuing to work with Gina as we proceed down the path of personalizing our home. As with any design professional, her advice will best suit your needs if you know what you like and don't like and can provide examples of what you consider to be good or bad design solutions.

Gina arrived at the appointed time. She took a little time to study my kitchen and suggested removing cabinets over the counter to open space and allow light from the dining area. She suggested floor covering that would be workable and attractive for my small space. She made lighting suggestions, she provided pictures of another kitchen she worked on to give me a visual reference point. Maybe best of all when our time was finished she told me to call or email her with any questions as my project goes along. I was impressed with Gina's professionalism and friendliness.

It went well. Gina has a great eye and some really great style ideas.

Very friendly, simple process but some great recommendations

Gina Schorr was the interior designer. She came out twice. She was really cooperative. She was willing to work with me on hour by hour basis. She redirected me because I was going way to dark and she was right. She reoriented the colors to a different blend of colors and she was also right on that. I was also happy that I had somebody come out and help me with some major decisions like that. Thye seem little high to me on price. I would use them in the future.

I never used an interior designer before and had no idea if it was going to be a pain. Gina, the owner. was professional, friendly and patient with me. I gave her a rough idea what I wanted and she got it. Her ideas were perfect for my tastes and budget. Entertaining is important for me and it had to look good, but even though my house is in an upscale neighborhood, I had to keep an eye on the budget. She understood and did a great job. I highly recommend Belle Maison.
