We are truly sorry that [Member name removed] feels that her purchase with Bel-Red Windows & Doors was as such and not a truly positive experience for her. Our reviews and their consistency of positive ratings and satisfied customers does not reflect the same opinion, we would like to explain the situation below.... We did this job over a year ago and our records and research back to this job found the following; 1) The customer chose Milgard WoodClad windows and high-end liners and casing. 2) Her WoodClad product needed to be painted/stained after the installation was complete and we gave her a referral name from a company we had used in the past. We had told her that we were not painters, we do not prep or paint which is also in our contractual paperwork for every job we do. The referral we gave her, happened to take on a large commercial job and was unable to do her job, so we recommended that she get on Angie's List and find a painting company through good reviews like she found our company. 3) One issue we had on her job was that there were some minor defects from the factory on the product, that we were aware of once onsite and indicated to her they would be easily remedied by the painter she would be hiring to do her other work. 4) We also paid her invoice she received for the painting company to address the minor defects. 5) She had chose a glass package that was just barely under the qualifications for her energy companies rebate, though she did not want the "upgraded glass package" due to the tint factor being too great, she was disappointed with this, so we also graciously deducted $-75.00 per window back to her as a courtesy. 6) She had complained to us that she has had similar experiences with other contractors in the past, we were immediately responsive and addressed every email, phone call and concern she had throughout the installation process and thereafter even having one of our local employees stop at her home on the way to his home to review and make sure when he left she was completely satisfied. We truly care about every job we do and every customer we work for, that they are happy with their purchase and it was a good experience for them, we are disappointed that after over a year, [Member name removed] was not completely satisfied and hope the above explanation might clear up the lower rated review that we received.
