The appointment went well; he arrived on time and provided me with an estimate for window replacement.  Another company provided a more competitive price for similar windows, so I used the another company.

This company has it all; great service, competitive pricing, and quality product. We needed to replace the remaining aluminum windows in our 1960's rambler. The owner, Zach, quickly came out for an estimate when I called Bel-Red. His estimate was one of several, but because he listened to what we wanted and didn't try to up-sell, he won the bid. I felt confident in the beginning because of his high rating on Angie's list and I never lost that confidence. Zach always returned our phone calls promptly, as we had some questions along the way. We signed a contract, the windows were ordered, and in 3 weeks our windows were installed. A three-man crew showed up on time, were friendly and professional, and had all 3 windows installed, the new trim for the patio door put up, and everything cleaned & cleared in less than 5 hours. All went smoothly and we couldn't be more pleased with the results. Bel-Red Windows and Doors earned their 5 stars from our job today. We would highly recommend this company!

Excellent to deal with in all regards, from the owner Zach, to foreman James, to entire crew.  We had a very large job with mult. special requirements and Zach took all the time necessary to discuss and research options, answer questions, and consider alternatives for quoting.  The foreman James, and entire crew were skilled, focused, professional and pleasant.  This was a major construction job so they were in all parts of our house for over a week - challenging in any case but they couldn't have been better in their professionalism and care of the house/yard to make it easier.  Most comfortable I've felt with a group of contractors working in/at my home.  Beyond the great work and good price, they went above and beyond with work not specifically included in the bid.  Competitive pricing, knowledgeable, responsive, professional, and friendly and we couldn't be happier with the quality. (earlier bids and companies we'd spoken to left me not wanting to even consider this project, making this positive experience all the more impressive.)  Windows will need to be washed by you/a professional after installation - not their forte.

The prices were very competitive and they were not pushy and they explained all of the products to us.  We did speak to other companies but they were very pushy and did not do a good job of explaining all of the products to us and when I asked them about a particular window they said they had never heard of that before.  Working with this company was a very satisfying experience for us except for the clean up after the job was finished.  We would consider using this company in the future if necessary.

Zach came out to look at the job and provided an estimate the day after I called his company. The estimate was lower than another
quote and provided a 10-year warranty, which the other company would have added an additional 10% to provide. They used a Seattle supplier for the windows and they were received within a few days of the order. The installation went smoothly and the crew
that came to our home were experienced and professional. Everything was cleaned up when they left.
I would recommend Bel Red Windows without hesitation and would use them again.

Zach Rogers offered the best bid and contributed ideas implemented in the work done by his crew.  They compensated for some settling of the building.  Work was done with care and professionalism and cleanup at the end.  Second/final payment was accepted by e-check order. 

I saw WIS Residential Company at the home show and decided to give them a call.  My experience with the estimate process was good.  They gave me the information that I needed.  It went well.

See above and there really was not any don'ts that I can recall.

My previous report was on the bid process.  This report addresses the service provided. 

Choose WIS Residential. Zach wants to earn your business, not pressure you into it. He encouraged due diligence before meeting for a bid. Pricing is competitive but not based on pressure to sign on the dotted line right this minute if you want a good price. We were held hostage until 9:00 p.m. by one guy trying to get a contract NOW. Zach gives you product options with recommendations. You choose instead of having one product pushed on you. Licensing and BBB rating totally check out, unlike a couple where I found revoked licenses (lapsed bond) or consumer complaints. Zach's crew is knowledgeable, polite, efficient, clean, and says "thank you for your business" when they leave.  Zach knows his business - informative about the technical stuff but didn't try to overwhelm. Also came up with a solution to replace a unique window and the result is great.  I checked out about 5 companies, got bids from 3.  Zach won hands down based on all of the above.  I am thrilled with the results.

A week after installation I thought I had a problem with one of the windows and e-mailed Zach about it.  He replied immediately and came by that day.  The problem was "operator error" which he suspected all along but didn't say so...he wanted to come out and make sure it wasn't a problem with the window.  I was impressed with how quickly Zach responded...makes it clear that he is interested in customer satisfaction and quality service...not just making a buck and running for the hills.   

It was a reasonable and fair price within the parameters of other quotes.  He was absolutely on time.  After the appointment, he was well prepared.  He was knowledgeable and personable.  He was earnest and businesslike at the same time.  I dealt with 4 other companies, and I really felt that he was the least high pressure, the most knowledgeable, and the most interested in trying to deliver us a product that was going to make us happy for the right price.  We had a particularly interesting window that needed to be replaced.  Even before we had contracted with him, he had done research to find out if the specifications that we needed could be met.  They found that they couldn’t, so he took the initiative to contact us and tell us that he had some other options that he had come up with.  He had done his homework and put out effort before he even had a contract, so I am very impressed with him at this point.
