Was part of an overall landscape service with another company. Everything went well and no problems to report.

His crew was able to come out later that afternoon and start chipping. Which was great since it was a major storm and lots of trees must have gotten damaged. The finished most of the removal within a day or so. But it took almost a week to get someone out to chainsaw and remove the trunk. They did the miminum to get the tree away from the house. I had to hire another crew to fully clean up the stumps.

They gave me a quote very promptly and scheduled the work for a few days later. The bid was about $400 less than another company that made an estimate. I was not on site during the trimming but was there a week later and it looked very good. Would use them again.

They showed up a little early to get the equipment set up and began grinding at the exact time they said they would start. The process was quick, efficient, and the mess was contained. Pricing was a little less expensive than a few other companies I called. I highly recommend Ballard Tree Service.

They came and gave us an estimate initially. They came back later and did the work. The trees were between ours and our neighbor?s houses. It was getting dangerously close to some power lines. They came back slightly late but had called and said when they?d be here. They got here an hour later and got everything done. They cleaned up after themselves really well. They were fairly priced too considering the fact that we had called a couple of different companies for estimates. The quality of their work was excellent.

After felling several large trees next door to my house, the Ballard Tree Service: -removed a section of my fence to enable their work, without permission or notice. -covered my yard and deck with debris; chips, pinecones, branches. -resituated the (temporally removed) fence section by tacking it to a tree with a piece of scrap wood. -left a huge pile of chips against my fence uprooting the post and tilting the fence section. None of the above work results are of catastrophic proportions. My fence is old. I raked the yard and the deck. The disappointment comes after calling the Ballard Tree Service and, after rationally, systematically and respectfully stating my case, the representative suggested that I was negligent for not reporting the situation sooner, and that they had performed the job according to local codes, etc, etc. She intimated that I would receive a phone call to correct the situation. 4 weeks later, no call, the fence leans like a listing ship. It's always amazing to me that some small, local companies feel no urgency to conduct their business with consideration, professionalism and responsibility. A phone call and a sincere response/effort would have made for a positive conclusion. Instead, my friends and business associates will be apprised of my negative experience. The tree business must be really good and non-competitive...

Greg bid on the job one day and his crew was out the next. They removed a giant cherry tree from the side of my house that overhung both my house and my neighbors. With overhead wire, close proximity houses and other obstacles, they used a very long cherry picker to piece by piece reduce the tree. They then ground out the stump, which was huge. Greg, as well as his crew, were professional and nice to deal with. Their bid on the cherry was the best of the four I obtained but their bid on a second tree but based on reading about them on Angie's list, this may not always be the case.

They removed a tree that had fallen on the house and another the next day that had fallen on our garage, and also cut down a third tree that was threatening the house. I called them and the owner was out within an hour to give us an estimate and the next day a crew of 6 came in and it was pouring rain and was windy. They hauled away the tree and we thought they did an excellent job. I felt that their price was competitive. They were professional, responsive and punctual.

This was a joint project with our next door neighbor. We had talked about removing one tree and trimming the other. Both trees were on our neighbor's property, but they affected our yard and power lines I agreed to share the cost. The neighbor called the company and got and estimate, which we agreed on. So the work was scheduled. They showed up on the day agreed upon and did the work very carefully, and cleaned up thoroughly. Although both trees were very close to our yard, no debris was left or damage done.

After some phone calls I managed to get an appointment in mid October with Gregg for an estimate, which sounded reasonable. I tried to schedule an appointment for the job itself but he did not have his calendar and asked me to call the office. I did, and a very pleasant receptionist said she'd remind Gregg. He never called but I called and called with no call back before the snow. I finally got an appointment for March 2nd but received a call from Gregg about five minutes before he was supposed to start saying he had an emergency in Magnolia and he'd call me when he'd leave there, in about an hour. It's now a month later. I am not enough of a masochist to call them again.

I called them late one morning, they had an someone out about 40 minutes later to give an estimate. I was pleased with the estimate, and about an hour later the crew showed up to start. About 2 hours later, the job was done. Both the estimator and the crew were friendly and helpful, and they did a great job of cleaning up the debris left behind.

Gary came out promptly to give a bid on the project. He discussed the project and the problems of the job. His bid was competitive, but we decided to go with a company that could use the resulting wood in other projects, rather than just cutting it up for firewood. We liked Gary's honesty, thoughtfulness and suggestions.

I was pleased with how professionally they did the job with no damage to the house or to the neighbors'. I had let the tree grow too big - I should have removed it years earlier, and I was worried that I had waited too long. But they got it out of there and very reasonably

The cedar tree was deftly limbed (large limbs due to regular cutting away from power lines) and dropped. Mike and crew were professional and diligent. Would definitely use them again.

I was not happy with the work. They were supposed to clear all the debris with a chipper, their chipper broke. They piled all the branches in my front lawn for a week. It was not until after I complained about it to come and clean it up. It ruined my lawn, and irritated my neighbors. I let them know, but they really didn't do much.

Ballard Tree was very courteous and professional and they removed the tree and the stump (including roots) for the price they estimated. I recommend them to anyone who needs a good tree removal done. They did not need us to be home, they just went ahead and did the job as promised. The only issue was that they had to constantly re-schedule the work due to employee illness or excessive workload. We took this with some good cheer and patience since this was not a critical job and eventually we laughed about how and why they would have to re-schedule on a given appointment. Ballard Tree people are quite nice and they did a great job. They could improve service by improving their work scheduling, though! :)

It was great. They were clean, prompt, and courteous. Bid was pretty reasonable. Took 3 days total.

They came over and provided an estimate on the same day of my initial call and performed work the next day. They did an outstanding job on the tree and cleaned-up and hauled everything away after work was completed. Professional, set realistic expectations, and performed the service superbly.

THEY DID A VERY GOOD JOB, AND THE NEIGHBORS WERE WATCHING. IT WAS QUITE AN ORDEAL. I WAS IMPRESSED WITH THE WAY THEY DID IT. I HAD USED THEM BEFORE, FOR OTHER THINGS. THEY REMOVED 3 SMALLER TREES IN MY YARD. THEY DIDNT LEAVE A MESS.

EVERYTHING WAS DONE ON TIME. THE ESTIMATOR SHOWED UP ON THE DAY PROMISED AND THE JOB WAS SCHEDULED AT A TIME THAT WAS CONVENIENT FOR ME. THE JOB STARTED ON THE DATE AND TIME SCHEDULED AND THE CLEANUP WAS PERFECT.

MY EXPERIENCE WITH THEM WAS NOT GOOD. THEY STARTED THE JOB AND LEFT AFTER A HALF AN HOUR. PROMISING TO COME BACK, HAVEN'T YET AND ITS BEEN TWO WEEKS. I HAVE USED THIS COMPANY BEFORE. THE PRUNERS WERE POLITE AND ON TIME FOR THE APPOINTMENT, BUT NEVER COMPLETED THE JOB. HAVE CALLED AND THEY SAID THEY WOULD BE BACK.
