+ -1 moreBad experience - in this economy I would expect services to be improved to secure work and for companies to go out of their way to make customers happy.
Description of Work: Jim responded very quickly to my internet inquiry and came out to do a quote just before Thanksgiving. He was a nice guy but unfortunately we have never seen a quote!! In fact I called the company before Christmas and left a message saying we hadn't seen a quote yet but would still be interested to see what they have to offer. We have not had a response to that phone call and still have not seen a quote.

+ -1 moreI found these guys on this list and then visited their website. I emailed each of the two owners (Jim and Chris) to email addresses found on their site. I did so twice - once in late March '08 and again about one month later. Finally I called them and left a voicemail thinking the emails on the website might be dated. I left a detailed voicemail explaining that I had an immediate project to paint my daughters room and that it could lead to the entire interior of our house. I invited them to bid both the small project and the larger project and requested they call to setup a time to stop by for an estimate. They are in Ballard and so are we. This should have been very easy. Two emails and a voicemail later and I still have not heard from them. Unfortunately this has been our experience with several of the service providers we have talked to. Responsiveness doesn't seem to be a common trait in this industry.
Description of Work: I emailed twice and called to try to get an estimate for an interior painting project from these guys.

+ -1 moreA friend of mine had tried to paint it. The paint we bought was bad, wouldn't dry. I called, Jim came over and did a beautiful job of rectifying our mistake. He got the exact color I wanted, and for a good cost.
