Auto Salon At Leschi

When the crew finished, as always, the car was spotless. We have been customers of the Auto Salon at Leschi for a few years (since before it moved to its current location). It has done full detail jobs (inside and out) on our vehicles (usually twice a year). Jeff and his staff always do an excellent job. Our vehicles always look flawless (better than off the showroom floor) when they are finished. If you're just in for a wash and vacuum, the facility has a comfortable waiting room and free WIFI for internet access. For larger vehicles, such as SUVs, they like to keep the vehicle over night so that they can do a thorough job without having to rush. The salon has a secure building with a monitored security system so that your vehicle is well protected when left over night (vehicles stored over night are always stored inside the building which is locked and alarmed). The building itself is inside a chain link barbed wire fence for additional security. The cost is always what Jeff quotes and is always consistent with what he publishes on the company web site. The Auto Salon always takes good care of its customers.

The car is a 2011 model and quot;import brandand quot; compact car, manufactured in Alabama. I've washed it myself many times, but never detailed it until now, so it needed help. I met the proprietor when I dropped off the car and he explained his standard service and options patiently, with as much technical detail as I wanted. He explained his business goal, which is to provde the best possible cleaning and preservation service for people who want that, as I did. He uses specialized cleaning and finish protection products selected from top-rated companies such as Menzerna. Menzerna manufactures polishes and cleaning supplies for jewelers and musical instrument makers, in addition to automakers and auto detailers. I have had a problem with fog and rain obscuring my rear-view mirrors until now, but I wanted to know if the detaler's products could reduce that problem. So, I requested a special and quot;Nanolexand quot; nanotechnology windshield treatent for the windshield and also to be used on my rear-view exterior mirrors. He said he was not sure that use on rear-view mirrors was approved by the manufacturer but he would call them to make sure it would do no harm. He later said they approved that particular use. I was ready to pay the going rate for a top quality detail job, based on my experience my previous cars that I parked outside. I left my car overnight the day before the appointment. It was ready at the time he promised. The car now looks immensely improved. A small faint tea stain on the driver's seat is gone. Floor mats are clean, and the floor under the mats is clean. Trunk carpet, trunk lid, engine compartment and all visible surfaces are clean, along with the tires and lights. Dust and dirt were removed in all the obvious places and in all the hard-to-reach places. The alloy wheels shine like new. The pet hair left by my Afghan hound and Corgi is all gone. Exterior paint looks better than new, and feels unnaturally slippery, more so than normal car wax. I hope and expect that the paint coating will shed dirt and tree sap more easily than the factory paint did. The price he quoted matched what I paid.

Did a web search for a near by shop. I called Jeff at Auto Salon. He was very patient over the phone. I took Auto in for his inspection. He made my 96 Accord look show room condition.
