Discovered that pipe was broken and over-run with roots that could not be removed. Recommended a camera service which was not available that day to follow up to discover source of the clog, and removed some debris that was blocking the pipe. The pipe was not unclogged and my problem was not resolved. However, the provider did let me know prior to the work being done that while they will attempt to unclog the pipe, sometimes it does not work. I don't hold this against them. I was not that impressed by the following: - Provider agreed to call me the following Monday to arrange for the camera service to come out to inspect the pipe. Camera service called the following Tuesday, and did not make an appointment despite being given my husband's number to call (no call followed) - Initial pipe drainage improved for a week, and started to reoccur again. Within a month, my pipe issue was worse than before. After comparing this service to another provider who gave me options and provided solutions, I am not very impressed with Aurora.

They were very diligent. My toilet had broken and they had replaced it with a more water efficient toilet that used less water. They got the job done and my new toilet is working fine.

Mostly punctual. James and his team were responsive, and worked diligently to fix the issues, and they even fixed/repoured a broken corner of our driveway without charging us.

He was a really nice guy and did a great job. He was prompt and just all around wonderful, it worked out very well. I would highly recommend him to others. I am a very happy customer.

I found Aurora Plumbing on Angie's list, and called. A nice man answered and said the scheduler was on the phone, but that she would call me back. A half hour later, she hadn't called, so I called again and left a vm message. I called one more time later that day and never received a call back. I called another plumber who fixed the valve.

The supervisor assured me he would be on site during the job which gave me a lot confidence that the job would be done correctly, however he never appeared on site one time during the whole week. 02/14 fri They started digging around the meter, finished installing most of the copper next day. Then they started installing the yard hydrant. 2/19 wed inspector showed up and said they need a check valve in pipe back to meter. They had installed one in stand pipe which was incorrect since it wouldn't drain correctly. 02/20 workers showed up and looked at inspection report but didn't know what to do. I told them what the inspector said. They had trouble understanding how this hydrant was supposed to be installed. I found some instructions on the internet and printed a copy for them which helped some. Then they took it apart and put the check valve in the correct place. They spent all day redoing this work. When the job was completed they left a 2 ft deep 2 ft long hole in the front yard which they covered with a large green metal plate. I will have to live with this forever. This equipment and the check valve was not included in the estimate which surprised me. If it would have been included in the estimate I would never have agreed to hire them. Members comment: I had no problem with the people doing the work. It was the supervisors job to make sure his crew had the tools and knowledge required to complete the job. Leaving the job with these holes and pipes in my front yard is very hard to understand and unpleasant to see. They should make an effort to include all material in the estimate. Making a decision on a job is difficult when they don't give you all the information pertaining to the job.

Plumber arrived at 4:00 on the late side as we were told between 2:00 and 4:00 on 2-24-2014, no problem there. He was professional and knowledgeable with the estimate , but the clincher was he did not have the parts necessary ! Seriously, we are right down the road from Aurora Plumbing, so getting parts shouldn't be a problem! We had to reschedule him to come back on 2-25-2014 between 12:00 and 2:00. Guess what? I get the call at 2:00 saying he won't be out cause the job he is on is running longer than anticipated! Really? He can come out on 2-26-2014 at 10:00. I agreed at the time but got to thinking about it and called another company which came out that day at 3:30 and was done by 6:00 for the same estimate and he had all the parts!

Very professional, prompt and fair price. Have used this company for years and will continue to do so.

Went very well. Good response time when I didn't have any hot water to bathe my kids. Used Angie's list coupons, on top of an average/moderate bill for the goods and services we received. Staff was professional and respectful, very friendly and efficient. I would hire them again.

Truth is, I don't remember. I just know that the plumber came on time, did a great job and told me about the Angie's List discount. I don't remember the date or the cost. I've used Aurora Plumbing a number of times and like them very much.

The work was done professionally. the faucet had to be redone. They came out promptly and did the work with no charge. They were not cheap, but no plumbing is. I would use them again definitely.

I think that the installation took much longer than it should have. It was billed accordingly. He was friendly and professional. I would not use them again.

Aurora plumbing came out and sent a camera down our sewer line - no charge. All looked pretty good - just a couple of minor breaks at clean-out locations - only 3-4 feet down - wouldn't be too expensive. But got to the city connection and there was a big break - 13 feet down - big job - back hoe etc. But it needed to be done so they gave us an estimate. Approx 10,000 and then they could add in a "Perma- liner" - but we did not get an estimate for that. We really wanted a liner put in but the estimator said they couldn't do a line with that big break in it. Would have to fix that first then get an estimate for the liner. Since we have used Aurora plumbing for many years for other projects we decided to go with them - after getting a couple of verbal estimates that seemed close. We set the appointment and they showed up right on time. However - when the manager of the job showed up he said they COULD do the liner instead of just fixing the break and they could fix the breaks at our clean-outs at the same time for the same price quoted. Our neighbor just got a liner done and the price seemed to be in line so we went with that. The work was done without major impact to our nicely landscaped yard and they cleaned up after themselves perfectly. The only criticism I have is that after the holes were dug and the work done they had to leave them open for inspection by the city. A whole day went by and nobody let us know what was going on. We had to call them to find out when someone was coming to inspect and then to finish up closing the holes and cleaning up. One other small issue is that it was very difficult to get written information on the perma-liner. The estimator told us it was guaranteed for 30 years or more but didn't have paperwork to back it up. We knew it was a good product from our research but wanted something in writing as a "selling point" if/when we sell the house. He finally did provide it but we didn't think we should have had to ask more than once for it. All-in-all we were very happy with the work - $10K always hurts to spend but we are glad it is done and we don't have to worry about it.

It was fine. Their price was reasonable for the work needed to be done. We are just waiting on the project but if we move forward with that portion of the project, we would consider using them. Their professionalism was also fine.

Jamie was phenomenal. He was very professional, on time, did a great job. Didn't recommend anything that was not necessary and laid out my options. He did an extremely good job of re piping my house, and also has done a few other projects for me. I would HIGHLY recommend using Aurora and specifically Jamie.

The guys did a great job, were on time and professional. The first technician cleared the clog, but based on what the snake brought up he thought we had a break in our main sewer line. He sent another technician to do camera diagnostics. He was punctual and helpful. he gave us a dvd of what they found and also marked the spot on our lawn above the broken pipe. we got a couple estimates from them to fix the problem.

Brian of Aurora plumbing was very helpful. He has worked at my home plumbing twice since September. He was on time, professional, answered all of my questions, clean up after the job.

Both jobs were completed in a very timely manner. The first visit was to fix a leak in the wall of my house where the drain from the toilet in the upper floor was leaking. It required cutting out the pipe in the wall and replacing the plumbing. The plumber was quick at getting the problem resolved. There has been no problem since. The Second visit was required because one of the two hot water tanks started leaking in the house. I decided to have both tanks in the house replaced because the tanks were approximately 25 years old. This project was completed very quickly also. The plumber was very professional and showed up during the expected times of both appointments. I was very satisfied and would use them again for any future plumbing issues.

After calling Aurora, they quickly scheduled my repair. Their technician arrived right on time and replaced the pipe quicky. He was very professional, explaining the problem and repair and when completed, the the area was left dry and clean. The price was very reasonable too. This is my second positive experience with Aurora plumbing and I will be sticking with them.

They did a good job. Their prices were reasonable. When they come, they just kept working on a problem until it gets solved. They come when they say they will. They would do the work well and they clean up after themselves. I found them to be very professional.

Arrived at the first appointment on time, and installation went relatively smoothly. However, he discovered that one of the parts he had installed (and for which I was charged) was defective (leaked) and so had to remove the part and set up to come back. On the date set up for him to return, he did not show up. On the next scheduled date, he arrived on time and installed the part. Problem is I was charged for the time he took to remove the defective part and then to come back and reinstall it. When I complained that I should not be charged for the removal and installation of their defective part, the time sheet was adjusted to relect half the time he came back to install the part on the original visit time sheet, so in other words I was charged.the time spent removing the defective part and $80+ for the second visit. Finally, the tub fixture was not properly adjusted (loose/wobbly knobs, water pressure restricted). Overall, not a satisfactoryexperience

It's been a while, so the minute details have left me - thankfully. I had purchased all the hardware and materials, and only needed an install. My complaint is about this particular plumber, and may not be reflective of the company as a whole. What I was told should not take more than 60 - 90 minute took Brian almost 3 hours. I had everything laid out when he arrived and two questions - does he have a better looking supply 'pipe' for the toilet tank, and if he has any thoughts or suggestions on what to try for my leaky kitchen faucet - I am reasonably good at DIY. I checked on his progress several times and he moved like a sloth. On one occasion, he was sitting on the edge of my tub cleaning off a part as if on a Georgia porch in the summer wittling, sipping ice tea and smoking a corn pipe - nothing but killing time. I asked if there was anything I could do to expedite the process - coffee, maybe? On two occasions, he went to his truck for extended periods, returning reeking of cigarette smoke. During the process, I saw he had replaced (and charged me for) a new supply tube - less attractive and commercial - without asking. I commented and he offered to replace the original. No, thanks - I will do that myself because it may take you 45 minutes. Gone and returning again, I found he had finished the bath and begun taking apart the kitchen faucet. I said no, no - that's okay. Just wanted him out of the house. Slowly, slowly he put the faucet back together. Finally,he was gone to get my bill. He charged for his two smoke breaks, and the 10-15 minutes to write up the invoice. I commented on this, he said he went to the truck for parts. When I suggested it was a smoke break, he conceded that he was multi-tasking. He took off some labor time from the invoice which ended up less than ten percent. My overall sense is that he had a certain amount of time between jobs and filled it with billable hours. Not okay.
