Two days later I met two guys from Aurora Plumbing. They brought the bigger snake and were able to unclog the drain and they used a camera to look at the rest of the line. They offered some advice and suggestions for follow up service. This second visit was at no charge. They were friendly and professional.

I called for an appointment 2 days in advance. Service was scheduled mid week in the middle of the day. This was not an emergency service. I'm outraged at the charge for labor. I had selected Aurora Plumbing based on positive reviews on this site. Little did I know that they would gouge me for $300 to simply replace a bathroom faucet. The plumber was here for less than 2 hours so that is over a $150.00 an hour. I will never use Aurora Plumbing again.

I love the Aurora Plumbing plumbers. They are knowledgeable, patient with my endless questions, timely, and just plain good guys. Pipes re-plumbed and I am looking forward to no leaks.

The install went very quickly. Less than a full day. This is a 40 plus foot move and down one floor. The quality was above average. Very nice base and strapped to the wall very sturdily. Aurora plumbing took time to answer any questions / concerns I had about the job.. It's been a month now and everything's working perfectly. Compared to other local plumbing companies, the price was very competitive.

They were friendly, professional, and did a great job repairing both problems at our house. The shut off valve looks so much more solid now (the old one was very oddly installed) and most importantly, it can now shut off the water in the house completely and not leak! They left that area of the garage tidy, and although they did have to cut into drywall, did a nice job of minimizing the cut and making it smooth (which will make repairing that section easier). They also repaired our water supply line in the front yard, and the most important thing is that it no longer leaks! Scheduling was quick and easy, and they arrived when they said they would.

I had what I would consider a relatively easy job since most of my water needing appliances were on either side of one wall with the exception of the Kitchen. It still took time to run the material and then to connect each individual water supply to the new line. I also upgraded the outside faucets to the ones that don't freeze, that was nice this past winter not having to worry about the freezing pipes from the outside anyway. Since its my home I do follow closely the work as it progresses and I open walls if I can before they arrive to save time and also to facilitate the patching. The more that I did the more that I saved. Overall the job is great. I will recommend them to anyone in my neighborhood that needs a good plumber.

They were very neat and tidy and there weren't any problems. They've done some other work over the years for me. You can't even see where they cut the grass where the pipes. There were 3 steps that were very complicated. They had to move big plants and put them back after. I would highly recommend.

He scratched our stainless steel sink which was not being replaced. He also did not put down a cloth to catch any debris that might find its way down the drain. Overall he was a slow worker which makes a difference since we paid by the hour and not the visit! I did not feel that he communicated very well.

They were good. They were professional when they came out. I was very happy with them. They cleaned up everything. They were great.

I ended up not using their services.

Fortunately for me, Aurora Plumbing was able to send a plumber (awesome guy named Dean) out the day after I called. He showed me the problems so that I knew exactly what he was talking about, offered options on the types of disposals I could put in and didn't push me one way or the other on which to choose. I hate being "up-sold". He told me about some additional issues he could see that I would want to correct in the future. Totally happy customer.

9/9/14 Update: Aurora is refunding the money I spent on failed repairs and voicing their commitment to "make it right." They have offered to send out the Service Manager, free of charge. I am so glad to have their willingness to remedy the situation. 9/6/14 Original comment: I paid Aurora to come twice to fix my less than year old toilet. I'm very disappointed. The latest recommendation from them is that I purchase a brand new toilet. I'm going to try another plumber first. I am disappointed that despite complaining twice, Aurora has not given me a refund.

Very well, professional service

I gave the offending part to my teenage son who knows nothing of such things. They made sure he got the right stuff.

I was able to retrieve my old cord and get it attached to the new dryer. While they didn't do the work, their advice did save me some money.

Was very punctual, found missing flange below toilet, installed new flange and resolved the problem completely.

Everything went smoothly. They came back promptly when one of the seals leaked a little. Been working fine ever since.

My husband went to the Aurora Plumbing store to seek some advice and buy supplies for a sink repair in a rental unit we managed at the time. They were incredibly helpful, talked him through what he would likely need to do, and he even was offered coffee! We would definitely go back there for supplies, or utilize them for their services in-home if needed.

I went into the shop to select a new toilet and order a replacement part for my sink faucet. They ordered the sink replacement part, but said it would take a few weeks for it to arrive. The sales person indicated that the toilet model I selected was in stock, and she went to the back room to bring it out. She helped me put it into my car. When I got home, I realized that it was not the exact model that I had requested and paid for (it was similar, but not the exact model), and also that the box had already been opened and a part was actually missing from it. So, I took the wrong toilet back to the store, and she said she must have made a mistake when she pulled it from stock. She then said that she would have to order the toilet I had originally selected and had paid for. The toilet arrived fairly quickly and I picked it up, but the faucet part took several weeks more and several phone calls to the store to determine the order status. When it had finally arrived, I scheduled the plumber for installation of both the faucet and toilet. He arrived on time as scheduled, but he said he had been told by his office that he was coming to replace the faucet part, but had not been told about the toilet. At first, he grumbled a bit that there was a toilet sitting there to install, but since it was the last job of his day and had the time, he graciously took care of the removal and installation of both the faucet and toilet, and had all of the necessary parts and equipment in his truck for the unexpected job. He was professional and efficient, and I have had no further problems with either the faucet or toilet.

The removal and installation process was excellent. I have used Aurora Plumbing a few times in the past and have always been very pleased with the work they have done for me. I have also found the employees in their physical store to be very friendly and knowledgeable .They recently sold me a new mixing valve for an old style Moen shower valve and also told me how to remove the old one and install the new part. Worked great. I would definitely visit the store again as needed and hire them for the larger projects I couldn't do my self.

Overall good service and very professional -- on the pricey end at nearly $1000 for about 4 hours work. Would use again but would get better itemized time/materials estimate.
