The plumber who came to our house was very professional. With plumbers you need to move quickly since their hourly rate is high, and this plumber didn't waste any time. In the end our toilet had cleared its own blockage when I turned off the water, but the plumber showed me how to clean out a filter and to replace the fill valve if the problem reoccurs. He also told me it wasn't urgent to fix the pressure, which would have involved opening a wall. I appreciated the fact that he wasn't pushing unnecessary services and showed me how to be more independent. I would definitely call them again.

I called for service and Brian George came out the following day. He assessed the problem and replaced the faucet, thoroughly explaining where the problem was and how he repaired it. He also turned on water to another outside faucet that I was unable to do myself. Additionally, he assessed problem with leaking toilet and explained how I could take it apart and bring to shop for repairs in order to save some money.

They were very professional and very friendly. They did a really nice job. They were also very knowledgeable which impressed me. I liked the fact that they were able to come out quickly. I would use them again.

I hired Aurora Plumbing to fix a persistent dripping leak from the hot water faucet of my bathroom. There were two possibilities, with widely varying costs: either it was just a washer or it was the entire mechanism. The latter would have required removing the tile and getting inside the wall. Because I lose water from the faucet when I'm taking a shower, I was prepared for the latter. The guy fixed the leak with a washer and an adjustment, gave me an ballpark estimate for the larger repair, charged me the minimum and -- best of all -- offered to subtract the charge from the larger job if I decide to have them do it later. No nonsense, good work, integrity. If I do the larger job this summer, I plan to hire Aurora.

Aurora Plumbing & Electric did a great job when replacing my toilets. They were very professional and they always let me know when they were going on break and that I was not paying for that. They did an excellent job and their price was cheaper than what they quoted me originally on.

Based on what I found on Angie's list I sent out several emails looking to replace our water heater. Aurora responded promptly answering the questions in my email. Two of the four other plumbing outfits responded in the following days, the other two did not respond. Thursday morning we scheduled to replace our aging water heater the following Monday. Got home and discovered the water heater leaking water. Called Aurora Plumbing to ask if the replacement could happen sooner. They scheduled a replacement first thing the following morning. The two workmen were courteous and professional. Water heater was replaced in about 90 minutes, area cleaned up looking better than they found it. Other plumbers quoted cheaper rates but after talking with them I was more comfortable with them Good ratings on Angie's list and BBB accredited helped confidence.

They are invaluable in providing assistance. They look at our drawings and are extremely knowledgeable. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I would recommend them to others.

I called Friday and was told they could have a plumber here in 20 minutes. That didn't work for me, so we settled on Monday afternoon. Joel was prompt, professional, personable and efficient. He found the problem (gunk) and cleaned the clogged fitting. He cleaned up after himself and replaced items under the sink right where they belonged. And their Angie's member discount paid for my year's membership!

I used my $50 Angie's List coupon. They recommended Angie's List to me. The price seemed a little high to me. They called and came out early for the appointment. We used this company before.

They are very good. The price is good. They come out when they say they will. They give me a small window when they will come and they are on time. They are very clean and they clean up after themselves. They are good workers.

They are very swift to answer the phone, extremely polite and quite responsive. Got the appointment at a convenient time and the technician showed up as expected. I think compared to the work they did previously, and other work I've had done, the time was excessive and so were the charges. I was expecting a bill of around $500-$600.

The house call was scheduled a day or two in advance. The plumber arrived on time and explained/confirmed pricing breakdown. I showed him the problem and explained that I had already replaced one faucet handle cartridge, but the faucet continued to drip. I showed him a couple other suspect areas that might have been causing the leak. The plumber replaced both sink cartridges, which stopped the leak. The problem is, I had just replaced the cartridge in one handle the day before. It's a $20 part. He proceeded to replace the cartridge in both handles and we were charged $40 each! In the end our problem was solved, but it should not cost $200 to fix a dripping faucet. Especially when $80 of our bill was parts that should have been $20 + some *reasonable* mark up. I'm never calling them again -- way too expensive!

My experience has always been top-notch.

There was a difference in the billing and we talked to the manager and he explained the difference very good. The worker was very professionable, has always been there on time and does a good job. We do use them a lot.

We called; they came the next day. The plumber was great and even fixed another leak we found as well. They wrote down a potential problem area to avoid a "first hour" charge in the future if we call for this area to be fixed(I do not recall if it is first hour or first 15 min or what exactly. However, I do know it is very fair.)

He did a great job, quite promptly. I especially like that he fixed the sink's draining problem. The only possible negative is that I have a hard time believing plumbers need to be *quite* this expensive. On the other hand, it was a great job and I'd rather have it done right the first time.

I haven t received the quote yet. They were punctual and professional. He was on time and responded quickly. He was easy to work with.

I want to tell you about the extraordinary plumbing service call we experienced Monday morning, 1-05-09; Shaun "Lucky" Maclee was at our door before 10:00 a.m., two hours earlier than the scheduled 12:00 noon to 2:00p.m. 'window'. Don't get me wrong - earlier is better than later and the staff had called asking if it was OK. Shaun was able to do the work in about 2 hours...4/4 problems fixed! What an efficient, pleasant and competent plumber; a definite first-team responder.

Everything went very well. They did everything on time and did a good job. They didn't cause any problem. I will hire them again in the future.

I checked the website and selected Aurora Plumbing. I was scheduled for about 5 days later, however, they called to reschedule when openings came up and I was able to get service in 2 days. The plumber who came to my house was named Lucky. He was a few minutes early, polite, respectful, liked my husband's crabby dog (and the dog liked him!). He was patient when I didn't know where the water shutoff valve was (we should have called my husband first). He explained everything he had done, what was covered by warranty and what wasn't and why. He went over the bill so I thoroughly understood it. He worked efficiently and with a minimum of fuss. He was very tidy, didn't track in any dirt on a snowy day, and kept his tools contained while he was working. I would definitely choose them again and I will ask for Lucky.

Overall, this went well and met my expectations. I had been unable to repair a leaky toilet and I was having leaks at both the base and the tank. The problem was not an emergency and I scheduled an appointment with Aurora Plumbing based on reviews I had seen. The plumber arrived on time, explained what he planned to do, and proceeded to the do the work in accordance with the schedule that the company had gone over with me by telephone. Having said that, I still thought the charges were too high - it took a very long time for the plumber to assemble his tools and write up the bill, and I believe he was taking a smoking break when he was out in the truck and that I was being charged for that time. My second minor complaint was that the plumber said that he thought my tank bolts, which he reinstalled, were ok but that part of the work would not be guaranteed because he did not supply the bolts. Those bolts are an inexpensive item - perhaps $3-5 - I would rather have him replace them and have that work guaranteed than have to call a plumber out again to fix a leak. Overall, this was the best experience (among many bad ones) I have had with a plumbing company, and I found Aurora to be prompt, professional at both the dispatch and plumber level, and good to deal with. I find plumbing charges generally expensive, but this time I didn't feel like the plumbing company was just looking for a way to make a minor job into a major one.

This company was very timely with the start and finish of the project. They guy was very nice to work with, very professional. Overall this was a great experience.

I called in the middle of a freezing spell with a minor problem - the hot water under my bathroom sink was leaking. Great service from the intake person - promised Monday but said she would put us on stand-by for today (Friday). Sure enough, several hours later she called and said an opening had occurred and they could be there in 45 minutes. The plumber was named Lucky; he quickly diagnosed the problem (loose nut), fixed it, and waited while we printed out the Angie's coupon (saved us $50!). Lucky also showed us what to do in case we had the problem again so we could fix it ourselves. We're the ones feeling lucky.
