Roman was MOST professional and courteous thoughout this whole experience, even when I called him back later that day to check on another plumbing issue. I will definitely use Roman/Aurora Plumbing again in the future, and have recommended him to others in my townhome complex.

The guy was nice, but the price was way too expensive for what they would be doing. I decided against using them based on the price.

They are very conveniently located for me. They are just a few blocks from my home. They always do a great job with the work.

To do repairs he had to cut a hole in a stairwell wall (behind bath) -- thoroughly explained process to us, including letting us know that he would do only plumbing, not restore the wall -- we appreciated that discussion so there were no surprises. At conclusion of work, my husband was very impressed that the invoice was explained in detail and that the plumber took time to explain about pressure problems we were having, what other problems they could cause in the future, and how they could be fixed. A minor notes - there was one spot on the faucet that we had to recaulk (somehow a small spot was missed).

They didn't charge me and they are very pleasant. They are absolutely fantastic. They are in competition with big hardware stores that are located very close by. They still do very well. They are perfect and couldn't be better. I am building a house and am there all the time. I have spent thousands of dollars with them. They may be a little higher but paying for that extra personal service is worth it. They either know how you are or are so cooperative and provide expert service. I don't have any negative things to say about these people.

I selected this company based on other reports. I went to the store--experience there was good. Got assistance selecting a toilet. What I did not know is that the service end of the business is apparently completely separate. We have an old house-built in 1900--with only one bathroom. I made it clear to everyone I talked to that it was critical that the process go smoothly and get completed. The original error was mine.. but it was not the only error. I mis-measured the rough-in dimension and did not understand the ramifications of that error. Other plumbers I have hired have always evaluated the job before beginning-but I have never had a toilet replaced before. My expectation here was that he would not start a job he couldn't finish as expected or quoted. So, the plumber shows up, right on time, and comes up to begin the process. Didn't measure anything. The old toilet had stripped-out bolts, and he ended up (with my agreement) breaking the old toilet to get it out more quickly. Then, he began the installation of the new toilet. So, by the time the rough in problem was apparent, the old toilet was broken and he is telling me the new one won't fit as expected. At that point, he did make clear my options--which were to stop the project or cut into the wall to install the new toilet. As I said, I could not be without, so I approved his cutting into the wall. Second problem was his.. he indicated that the flange was not parallel to the floor and he would need to shim. He didn't shim, although I asked him about it before he was done, and the new toilet is very noticeably out of level. I was also unhappy to find out that there was a separate charge for them to get rid of the old toilet.. that had never been mentioned. So, I decided to contact the company about making it right, however we could agree to do that. I took pictures and went back to the store,on a Saturday, and got a sympathetic hearing but was told that the service group is completely separate. The plumber who did the work did call, and apparently was concerned that I felt he had cut into the wall without authorization. My issue was, and is, that he should never have started the work without being sure the job could be satisfactorily completed. If he had just checked the rough in measurement, we could have avoided the entire mess. His recommended solution was for me to hire someone to come fix the wall and have that person level the toilet. That, in my opinion, is not making the situation right. I will say that he worked quickly, and cleaned up after the job. Lessons learned for me: Should have asked what the rough in measurement meant. Should have pushed the issue about shimming to level the toilet. Window installers don't trust your measurements.. they insist on doing their own. Seems like plumbers could do the same. BTW, the new toilet (a Toto) is great! We love it!

I was incredibly satisfied with their work. He was here for three and a half hours. Lucky was incredibly knowledgable, efficient, professional and hard workoing. He did an outstanding job in all three areas. I can't recommend them highly enough.

The bid was an extraordinarily priced and twice and more then twice of other companies bids. The technician for the estimate was not attentive to detail and didn't explain the service.

Plumber came out - replaced the pipe and checked our water pressure. The whole thing took less than an hour and we used a coupon to save a bundle. He also told us that the water pressure was set to 80psi (another plumber had told us our water pressure was high and that we needed to put a pressure sensor)

I reached Aurora Plumbing on Thursday afternoon and by noon on Friday, both toilets were fixed and working well. Joel came out and was very efficient, professional, and understood the problems. Within a short amount of time he had all three problems solved. I am definitely going to call them if I need more work done. It was a delight to see such service.

I called at 10AM and was given a window of 11A-1P for the visit. The man who came was very professional and was able to assure me that it is not a plumbing problem. He also showed me how to turn off the water connection that goes into the washer, in case there is some internal problem with that.

I have been using them for many years. They have been professional and worked out fine. The prices were reasonable as well.

The employee was very patient and answered all my questions. He was easy to talk to and had a good personality. He also showed up 15 minutes early for the appointment. I like that they are close to my home in case they needed to run back to the shop to get parts.

The work turned out very well. They are a very good company.

Discovered the water heater leak on Tuesday evening. We were able to contain the leak somewhat so decided not to call for an emergency repair. Looked on Angie's List and chose Aurora Plumbing because of ratings, proximity, and coupon. Left message on their phone late that night. Called again just after 8:00am since wasn't sure when they started answering the phones. Got a return call from Danielle just after 8:30am. Explained our problem and asked if service was possible that day; she said they would fit us in. Asked about coupon and was told they had a better deal right then with a $55 discount on the first 15 minutes of labor. She called back within an hour to say that someone could come sooner than expected. Joel was there by 11:00am. Talked with him about the replacement and also asked about a valve to separate hot water tank shutoff from entire townhome water shutoff. He did that and replaced the water heater in 1.5 hours. We had also discussed securing the water heater to the wall but decided against that due to cost and location in garage not really necessitating that. Work was well done. Have only two small gripes. First, he drained our old tank into the driveway, and there was a lot of rust from the bottom of the tank. This left a bit of a mess in our driveway and there was no offer to clean it up (a hose and water spigot were close by). Second, there was no discussion of water temperature settings. Called their office to follow up on this. Installation is normally done at the manufacturer's setting of 120 degrees. However, I wanted a higher setting due to dust mite allergies that require temperatures of 135 degrees or higher. I forgot about this until after Joel left. It was relatively simple to change this ourselves, but it would be nice for people who install water heaters to ask about this before departing.

Aurora came out and gave us the estimate for re-piping our entire home. They told us that before they could re-pipe our home they would have to lower the water pressure from the street to my home. We hired them to come out and lower the water pressure, which ended up being about a half an hour job. When the job was finished we did not bother to ask the price, when the bill showed up we were very surprised. They charge a flat rate for their work, which we did no realize. The employees who worked with us were very pleasant, nice and friendly. They came out and gave me an accurate estimate for the entire job, but I only had one job completed. I would recommend them for everything about the service, except for the price.

They found the leak without having to rip off the wall and fixed it. The whole experience was pretty easy. They came out the next day that I made the call and sent out the same plumber that had come out for before, they always do that. The plumber knew the work that he had done before so it made it a little easier for him to get this job done.

I called Aurora Plumbing (very friendly on the phone), got an appointment, ended up rescheduling for a couple days later, and they came by and were very efficient in getting the job done. The plumber was a little early, very friendly, and diagnosed it within a few minutes. He estimated about half an hour for the fix, and was right on the money as he was out the door after 45 minutes total. He was happy to accept the $50 off Angie's coupon, which saved a good quarter off the total price. This was my first experience with a plumber, and I knew it was going to be pricey (I wish I earned that amount per 15 minutes of work!), but the friendliness and efficiency of Aurora Plumbing made it a non-stressful experience. I'd definitely use them again!

They were very prompt and professional. Their prices are medium to high, but the quality of work is excellent. They guarantee their work.

They referred me to a company that charged me $500 to cap a pipe after I dug the hole myself and refilled it myself. At this point I wouldn't consider them in the future.

Everyone at Aurora was extremely responsive and professional. When Joel came out on a Friday, he realized that if he went forward I might be without hot water for the weekend, so he did not proceed. Aurora was very responsive in scheduling the work the next week when I was available.

Great service from the phone call to the service. The only issue I have is they charge $50 to come east of 405 and I live 1 mile east.

All of the folks at Aurora Plumbing were great to work with, from my initial call to schedule service through to the service call. They did a thorough search to locate a part to match the one in my old tub drain (circa 1941), replaced the part, and fine-tuned some little things in the bathrooms. They also reassured me that our sewer pump was fine, AND refuted the inspector's claim that copper was touching galvanized pipe -- showing me the brass fitting that separated them. They were courteous, professional, and fun!

I found them in Angie's list. They were great and perfect. I haven't had any problems with the work. They were punctual and really good.
