Description of Work: The electricians were very good. They were punctual, professional and did a great job. My issues were with the office. Almost every step of the way, the people in the front office made a mistake or miscommunicated something. They told me the wrong day for the consult and then they gave the wrong information to the electricians about what needed to be done among other things. I would think twice about using this company again only because the front office has some serious communication problems.

Description of Work: They fixed outlets in the kitchen that were not working. They also fixed the electric heater in the living room that wasn't working. I don't know if that was due to the outlets not working or not. They did a good job. Thanks.

Description of Work: Roger re-wired a problem connection, replaced the ballast in my ceiling light, and replaced several light fixtures. He also answered all of my questions, cleaned up thoroughly, and gave me a very reasonable estimate for additional work. I will definitely use As You Wish Electric again. |

Description of Work: Installed a chandelier. I thought that was excessive but we didn't have a ladder to get us up 20 ft. Originally they were supposed to install on Friday. I got a call saying they would be at our house between 3-4pm. At 445pm I called to see if they were still coming. The electrician was still at another job. At 530 they called to reschedule for Saturday. When the technician arrived on Saturday morning, he didn't have the right ladder size (which he should have since someone came out to give us a quote). This was incredibly frustrating and felt unprofessional. Took him about an hour and half to get back to our house with the right ladder size. The technician himself was great, friendly and very helpful. Just disappointment at the over experience for that kind of money.

Description of Work: Made a repair of outdoor fixture; was very prifessional and quick; but was surprised at a $400 estimate to simply replace 4 outdoor lights on the house; can't imagine it taking 4 hours to do so.

Description of Work: They changed a light in the entry way, gave me enough power to add additional outlets and some outdoor switches.

Description of Work: The fixed a faulty GFI outlet, moved and installed a new light fixture, and required all the lights in my kitchen so 3 ceiling lights were controlled together by two 3-way switches. | |Everything went great! They were able to get everything done in one day and with a great attitude.

Description of Work: AYW installed a 240v outlet in my garage for use in charging my car overnight. Overall, the electrician was great, very professional and punctual and did a nice job on the outlet. My only complaint is that when I initially called in to schedule the appointment and asked for a ballpark quote, the price quoted was under $200. In the end, I spent nearly double that even though I purchased a deal through Angie's List that saved me $50. So I expected to pay around $200 and the final total was $380. Without the $50 savings, it would have been $430. I get that it was a ballpark estimate, but I would have expected it to at least be in the ballpark.

Description of Work: Two guys showed up. They seemed nice and professional. We had them install our ceiling fan in the second bedroom where a light was already in the middle. So they just had to put in a new box to handle the extra weight of the fan. | |We got a couple estimates for some other fan options in the house. I was surprised to hear how expensive it would cost to put a fan in our master bedroom where was wasn't already a light box in the middle of the room. Seems like the electrical work in general is pretty expensive. | |Anyway, the work they did was good and I'd use them again. You could probably find a cheaper/smaller outfit that is just as good, but whatever.
