Description of Work: We required 4 new cable outlets; installed two lights on photocell; light on 24 hour timer. |When drilling into wall made a sizeable hole which they plastered, is noticeable and had to be repaired by my husband; someone had to come back to try and fix the deck lights. They could not be completed because the lights were under the eaves and too dark for turning on or off. They would have been able to fix it but it would require drilling and very costly in addition to what we paid. We said no. When completing new cable outlets/wiring outside the old wires were not taken down. It was suggested the cable company do this. When we asked the cable company they suggested my husband do it (we're older and I didn't see him climbing up the side of our house). My thought is we paid quite a bit of money for the services which were not fully provided. I must say, as an aside, everyone who came by and on speaking with people in the office, they were all courteous and professional. Unfortunately, job incomplete and not done to our satisfaction.....and expensive.

Description of Work: On 03/17/2015, it performed an inspection of the home electrical features and determined those needing repair or replacement. This work was done on 0/3/31/2015, and included cleaning out3 heaters and replacing grills; replacing 1 GFI in bathroom into regular receptacles and main bath; replacement of 3 smoke detectors; diagnosis.

Description of Work: They didn't do anything. Apparently As You Wish electricians aren't allowed to touch knob and tube wiring. Unfortunately, this meant my voucher was worthless. I did receive an estimate to add a switch for 2 wall sconces and it was over $1,000. Again,

Description of Work: Bought a big deal and asked for a quote for additional work during the appointment. I got the quote which I found to be absurd for some of the very minor work I was asking about (swapping existing switch with a timer switch that I bought, 5 minutes work of work, over $100 each). They never did the electrical inspection that the big deal actually was for so in effect, I paid $39 for an estimate... I did not contact them to come back and do the inspection, just for full disclosure

Description of Work: Had confusion about payment on file with company. Had to give 3 times before billing was completed. The installer didn't complete one thing and had to go back which was a drag for everyone. The office staff was great and helped to keep the project on task.

Description of Work: As You Wish Electric came and did a home inspection and installed a ceiling fan for me. I didn't think I had to pay more for the coupon but I had to pay another $72.00 plus tax for a coupon that worth $150.00 dollars already.

Description of Work: A representative from 'As you wish Electric' came to my house to give me an estimate to install 4 recessed lights in my living room. They told me that it would cost $1400 for doing this install. I thought that was far too expensive so no work was done. I would like to use the $150 and apply it to one of the Big Deals offered by Washington Electric for $399.00 Tom Drayton

Description of Work: We had 6 new electrical circuits installed for a two bath and kitchen remodel we have in the works. Both men arrived on time and with nearly everything they needed for the job. They only had to run out and get some breakers they were missing. They finished the work and were on the road in less than 6 hours. Quite a feat considering that they had to run the circuits from the basement to the attic 2 floors above. Everything was done exactly to the specs of the quote with no surprises, and they even cleaned up after themselves. In fact they were so tidy that when I told them they didn't have to take their shoes off in the house, their reply was that it is company policy and that they only wear them when on unfinished or concrete surfaces.
