Great, great, great!! The electrician was very personable and professional. He understood exactly what I needed, and then just did it. He was also very quick and efficient, and the light fixtures all now work wonderfully.

Work was done effectively and neatly, making a sensible compromise between "invisible" installation, and the practicalities of minimum damage to siding, etc. Was happy enough with the work to request a quote for an indoor ceiling lighting project for later after it will be cool enough to work in the attic.

Arrived on time, did a good job very efficiently.

Brandon arrived ahead of schedule and performed the tune-up in about a half hour. He was pleasant and courteous.

As You Wish had a much lower minimum fee than the other companies I tried. Some ranged as high as $300 regardless of whether they did $300 of work. I found that completely unreasonable for such a small job. As You Wish has a minimum of only $99 which is much more sensible for me. Even still, I didn't know what to expect but gut checked it at $400 total. I was pleasantly surprised to see only $225 come across on the bill. Overall, As You Wish Electric exceeded my expectations in service, responsiveness, and price. Highly recommended.

Though As You Wish Electric could not provide the level of work I needed, they very kindly asked a trusted individual elecrical contractor to bid on the extensiove rewiring needed in the house...this electrical contractor honored the Angie list coupon and went out of his way to complete the work by the date needed. Nice people all arounf.

Justin was prompt when he came to provide an estimate. He took the time to see exactly what we wanted and how he could best accomplish those goals. He thought the first ceiling fan I bought might be a little large for the small bedroom, and suggested I might want to get a fan with a built in remote control to avoid the additional wiring and costs required to install a wall switch. I returned the first fan and ordered a smaller one with remote. Once we had the new fan, it took a while to get Justin back to do the work. We could have had another electrician do the job, but preferred to wait until Justin was available to finish what he started. He again arrived promptly and completed the tasks professionally and competently. He took great pains to keep the mess at a minimum. Justin is a great representative for As You Wish Electric and we'd be happy to have him come back if/when we have other electrical jobs.

I purchased an Angie's list deal to have an outdoor electrical outlet installed for $125.00 plus $15.00 for a permit. The work was done in a timely and professional manner. The electrician went above and beyond by removing a dead mouse in the crawl space! He also gave me an estimate for replacing my panel as it is over 30 years old. When I am ready to replace it, will definitely contact this company.

They came prepared for the job since they had to rent an extra tall ladder.Worked well as a team. Great clean up after. As You Wish Electric is now the only electric company that I will contact in the future!

I bought an Angie's List Deal Special and had an outside outlet installed. It was very easy to make an appointment. They called to confirm the day before. They sent Brandon to do the work. He was on time. Very polite. Considerate of my home. He explained what he was doing. He was very patient with my questions and concerns. He was neat and clean. This was an A+ experience. The next time I have an electrical need, I will DEFINITELY call this company.

The work was prompt and they have performed with the best possible manner with the least waste of time and effort. If I will be needing electrical services in the future, I will definitely contact them again.

Very good. The problem turned out to be a simple circuit breaker tripped due to two appliances on the same circuit.

Even though the goal of this service was a fail, the service itself was fantastic. The main office called to confirm when Justin was within 30 minutes of arrival and he arrived right on time. He was friendly and freely offered explanations of what he would be doing. He also did not complain about repeatedly squeezing between large appliances in a tight closet without much free space. Unfortunately, the new wiring for the new outlet could not be routed after many attempts (more than 1.5 hours worth) and the project had to be cancelled. Justin apologized for this and explained the problem, then offered a quote for doing an external-mount of the circuit to that outlet. In the end, I still expected to pay the hourly rate for his time, but Justin refused payment and said he could not accept when the project couldn't be completed. I am very impressed by this and will happily contact As You Wish for any future electrical needs.

As You Wish Electric came out to inspect my current wiring, recommended a new panel, and worked up an estimate for doing the above work. I'd already had one recommendation to replace the panel, and As You Wish explained very clearly why they recommended it. A new panel is expensive, but so worth doing since the old one wasn't grounded and didn't have the capacity for a modern house. They were able to schedule the work right away. The work took three days, and was very involved with having to rework the existing wiring and installing new fixtures. The crew did a fantastic job. They were easy to have in the house, very nice to work with, respectful, and considerate. I work at home and they were very careful to keep me informed when power would have to be turned off and for how long. I thought I'd lose power for a lot longer, but they get everything ready first then cut the power while they hook up the new panel. I will happily recommend them, and I will use them again.

As it happened, the job was out of the intended scope of the advertised Big Deal, but Brandon and his boss found a way to make it work. We are very pleased with the installation: it accomplishes our intention perfectly. Brandon arrived on time, and the work was done in a professional and efficient fashion. We are considering additional electrical work, and we will definitely call on As You Wish Electric when we are ready to proceed. This is a first-rate outfit which I recommend to anyone needing electrical work.

We had been trying to get an automatic backup generator installed in our house for some time. General contractors (including As You Wish's parent company, Greenwood Heating & Air Conditioning) kept quoting me outlandish markups on the generators themselves (i.e. 100% higher than ordering direct) as well as the installation, so I eventually ordered the generator myself and hired out the physical installation, the gas plumbing, and the electrical work separately. As You Wish quoted me by far the lowest bid for the electrical work (the disparity was amazing -- other electricians bid $2500 and $4000 for the same job), and sent out two people who completed the installation in one day. The county inspector who came out and looked at it afterwards said it was one of the best jobs he'd seen wiring in a generator, and everything's been working well since then through several power outages. Everything was done promptly, well, and surprisingly cheaply; I'll definitely use them again for any electrical needs.

Brandon, who gave us the bid was great to work with, punctual and responsive and gave us a very detailed bid. Bryant and his apprentice, Sam, did an amazing job in a fairly short amount of time. Not only did they do all of the electrical, but they have a patching/painting company they work with to fix the walls and ceilings after the work is done. All in all from beginning to end for 2 stories, plus basement and attic, it only took about 3 weeks (2 weeks for the electrical and another week to patch and paint). We are SO glad we decided to do this, we feel much safer, and really love having "real" electrical outlets and switches on all of the lights, in all of the rooms, basement, etc. Funny what you get used to in an old house. Bryant was wonderful to work with and I know we've finally found an electrician we can trust!

Came on time. Inspected wall plug in. Traced the electric back to source. Even went outside to inspect. Made repair quickly. Cleaned up after, even vacuumed. Was very pleasant and professional

He was very knowledgable and helpful albeit young. He took care of the issue pretty quickly and pointed out some thing that a previous electrician did incorrectly. He did all the work I needed him to do relatively quickly. The price was a little high, but he did really good work.

Talked to Sean on Friday ~5pm to determine cost of adding 220V electrical switch. Sean not only freely gave me a ballpark figure, he also pointed out the fact that the work we were being asked to have done (by another contractor not on Angie's list) was completely unnecessary Although Sean did not receive our business on this occassion, his honesty, promptness and eagerness to give information to help us get educated will definitely earn our business (and recommendation to others) going forward
