Shadrin was sent out. He was great. He talked us through our options and was very frank with us about how much it would cost. He had what seemed like unlimited patience yet very professional, which was nice. His explanations were very clear. We will make a point to ask for him when we need electric work done in the future.

They worked promptly were very professional and we had estimates emailed to us that same afternoon for the other two projects, I definitely will use them when we're ready to proceed on both of those.

Unfortunately, the lights then buzzed with the dimmer---they did not before. As You Wish came out two more times, trying different switches to try to get the buzzing to stop. They were fabulous to work with during each visit, and so was the customer service person on the phone. All 3 electricians were very courteous and professional. As You Wish gets an A+ for customer service and for their guarantee of their work. They tried every dimmer switch possible (including a trip to Lowe's) and none got rid of the buzzing, so they gave me the option of reinstalling the old standard switch. I chose to learn to live with the buzz because having the dimming capability was more important. Some day down the road I will replace my brand new IKEA fixtures (which seems to be the cause, although they were all labeled "dimmable") I'd like to thank all of the folks at As You Wish Electric for being a stellar company who truly stands behind their work. I will definitely be calling them again when I switch out my basement lighting.

They scheduled the first diagnostic appointment at the end of my first week in town, which, okay, they're busy, it's not realistic to expect them to pen me in the very next day. And being busy suggests they're good. So I didn't worry about the issue being fixed because they sounded confident about it all. First visit, they figured out the switch was designed for incandescent bulbs, and I had LED in the ceiling cans of my porch. They needed to order a new switch, and they charged me their standard rate for a diagnostic visit, minus an Angie's List discount. They'd get back to me about ordering the new switch. Turns out, the ordered switch might not arrive until the Friday before I was to leave town, which left a tiny window of opportunity for installing it (they're closed weekends). Nevertheless, Friday morning, as promised, I get a call from Anthony. The part is in, they've scheduled me for a 2-hour window in the afternoon, will that work? They came, replaced the switch, works like a charm, and rather than charge for the part and service, they charged another diagnostic fee, which was less expensive, and something they didn't have to do. Point being, they listened to the concern about getting it done before I left town, and they went the extra mile, doing everything they could to resolve the issue, which they did. Throughout it all, they were courteous, professional, patient, and personable. And they were not as expensive as some I've called in the past. I will definitely use them again.

All of the staff from the estimate to the finished installation were fantastic!!! I had three companies come out and give me estimates. As You Wish Electric had the lowest price, but that was not my only deciding factor. They were very respectful of my home and my two year old son. They wore booties so they didn't get the carpets dirty and included my son and answered his questions too. That goes a long way in my book! Through the estimate, they were very informative in explaining the process and my options. It felt nice to be included in making some decisions and having options. Once we were able to work around my varying schedule, all of the installation went above and beyond my expectations. They allowed me to watch and ask questions as I'm a curious person. They never made me feel stupid for asking very basic questions. They even let my son hold some of the parts and tools. It was a two day job and both times they cleaned up after themselves very thoroughly, vacuumed up some of our mess too! I know that I will be hiring them again! I have another project building an art studio and will need to run power, install wiring and outlets and lights. So my son and I will have the pleasure of seeing them again! The communication was poor and they had to come back to my house several times. We failed the electrical inspection twice and they had to keep coming back out. I would not use them again or recommend them to anybody. They usually sent 2 people out to do the job when they were working. The communication from the people in the office was exceptionally poor and at times discourteous.

After a few years of just one standing lamp in our living room, we saw an awesome deal to have 4 can lights installed for 300 bucks. The men who showed up were in and out in less than 45 minutes, there is a dimmer right next to the switch...there wasn't a mess left behind and the lights look like they have always been right where they are - my wife has OCD about things being symmetrical and when she got home, she was totally floored, first by how much brighter and bigger the room seemed and also because they weren't all out of sorts. They were professional and very courteous. We would definitely go to this company again in the future.

It went fine. We just did the whole house inspection and left it at that. He was on time, friendly and very professional. I have an estimate if one day I decide to add a car charger.

Everything was fine. I also received some quotes on other potential work. Definitely worth the Angie's list deal and inspection. No pressure on any of their recommendations, we did only what we felt we needed.

The electrician arrived right on time with a courtesy phone call just before he arrived. He was super friendly and very easy going. Previous electricians were not able to find the problem, but after a lot of patient going back and forth, he was able to trace the issue back to a wiring problem in a switch. He installed two outlets, checked out the panels, gave some recommendations for additional improvements and was on his way. Would certainly use them again.

I purchased the Big Deal which indicated that it could be used for a variety of things, including adding a new outlet. However the electrician came out and gave me an estimate of a few hundred dollars to install the outlet instead of doing the work. I wouldn't have purchased this Big Deal if I knew it just involved having an electrician come out and give an estimate for what I wanted done.

Problem was fixed. estimate for future work was reasonable.

Two electrician were excellent. We reviewed the work requested then the got to work making the "fixes". Very professional.

I would give them an "A" all the way around.

I'm very happy with my "As You Wish Electric." I purchased an inspection + $150 credit deal from Angie's List. Everything went well from the very beginning. I spoke to Beth on the phone and via email and she was able to answer all of my questions and schedule me in quickly. Matt and Blake from As You Wish Electric showed up today and did an amazing job. They were both very friendly, polite, and highly professional. They installed a new light fixture and a chandelier, inspected the electrical equipment, and even fixed a loose connection that was making an exterior light flicker. The chandelier was installed on a 17' high ceiling, and I was very impressed with how well they handled the job. I supplied the material and they provided the labor. They're both highly skilled (particularly Matt who's obviously been doing this for a long time). I would hire them again without hesitation! I highly recommend this company -- I wish all companies I've dealt with had such a high bar, even by Angie's List standards.

They came to give a quote and were prepared to do the work right then. Very professional and great job.

All went well. I just wish the outlet was flush with the wall and not sticking out so far.

The guy that came was excellent, thorough and had good manners. He seemed to know what he was doing. He installed a dimmer and some other things around the home. He was going to charge me $80 for the dimmer, but brought it down to $40 when I complained.

They were attentive, showed up when they were supposed to, offered competitive pricing, and did the job that they were hired to do. I would highly recommend them.

Electrician arrived as scheduled. Scoped the projects and explained what needed to be brought to code and why. The estimate was provided and the work completed promptly. I elected to have them complete the work, but I was surprised by the price tag. I will be sure to get additional estimates in the future. That said, the workers were prompt, friendly and explained options clearly. The work was completed and I am confident that a good job was done. I would recommend As You Wish recognizing that the price felt on the high end of scale.

Went well used multiple times after this service

It worked out great. I just liked how convenient it was. The quality was good, so far. They offered an extra small service and it turned out to be a great deal. I would possibly use them in the future.
