I've had my house cleaned by April Lane's for more than four years now, and have nothing but good to say about them. In that time, I've had three different cleaners, each of whom was friendly, efficient, and thorough. One of the things that I really like about the company is how easy it is to scale and customize the service. I rent rooms in my home and I'm on a pretty tight budget, so I have the company clean the kitchen, bathroom, hallways, and living/dining/sun room every two weeks, but skip the full dusting and fingerprint-wiping treatment. I'm able to add on services on an as-needed basis (watering the plants, cleaning the refrigerator, etc). They're happy to use specific cleaning products that I provide (such as my special marmoleum floor polish) and take care to follow any special instructions that I might have. The main office notifies me of anything out of the ordinary, such as a substitute cleaner, a later-than-usual start time. They're also quick to deal with any mistakes. Once, the cleaner had a busy schedule and accidentally skipped our house. The cleaner and the main office realized it before I did, and gave us 50% off our next cleaning, just as a matter of course. Another time, I asked them to clean the fridge and the wrong fridge got cleaned, but they caught it before they left and cleaned the actual fridge, and comped me the time spent cleaning the other one. I also really like that I have the same cleaner every week, and that she's a real person with a name. I try to be out of the house during the actual cleaning, but my cleaners have always gone out of their way to remember me and my house. Our current cleaner makes sure to have the main office notify me if she's scheduled to come by early, since she knows it takes me a little while to prep the house for her (putting away dishes, changing out dirty bathmats, etc).

I've been with April Lanes for many years and Matt's been with us for over a year. He's great with my animals. I have 2 dogs and 2 others that are rotating foster dogs. You can imagine how dirty things can get. And with foster dogs, some are really shy and scared and Matt is great with them. He's able to get my house sparkling and manages to navigate the chaos in my house. I appreciate him greatly.

We've hired April Lane to clean our house for a number of years and are very satisfied in every way. I switched to them after several private cleaners in a row had to leave for various reasons, forcing us into yet another search/interview/ training process each time. If I had time to do that, I'd be cleaning my own house! I'm nanny to two toddler grandchildren and was looking for a cleaning business able to get the house clean without using any harsh chemicals at all. We've changed cleaners three times in all the years we've been with April Lane, twice for personnel turnovers and once because I had to change my cleaning day, and each has been as well-trained and prepared (complete with a notebook about our cleaning and my preferences!) as the others with absolutely no effort on my part. Samara always calls and/or e-mails to let me know in advance about any changes in schedule (traffic delay, substitute cleaner, etc.) and our cleaner arrives exactly as expected. I'm not always here when the house is cleaned, but when I am, the cleaner is pleasant, quiet and respectful of my presence.

April Lane's Home Cleaning is perfect for us. We have finally gotten into a grove with a housecleaning service, which in our experience is difficult to do; the right amount of cleaning at the right price and right interval. One of the many things we appreciate about the service is the stability. Almost always the same person comes at the same time providing exactly the amount of cleaning we like, no last minute changes or surprises. We would recommend April Lane's Home Cleaning for anyone looking to have a cleaner house.

The three women cleaned the main floor bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, living room and hallway very thoroughly.

These people were very helpful and did a fantastic job cleaning our new house before we moved it. We were able to prioritize what we wanted done and they stuck to the requested budget which was fantastic. Kat was very helpful and talked to my wife about some of the things they did to clean the house and even picked up some mouse traps that freaked my wife out. Samara was very helpful on the phone and was very responsive via email and phone. In short, April Lane's was great!

April Lane's home cleaning team have come out twice to clean my home. The initial deep clean was expensive but worth it. The next cleaning was well done. I find them to be thorough and when asked take on extra projects like cleaning out the fridge or oven they easily accommodate. What surprised me is that they don't empty the garbage cans. I found this odd to have clean rooms with garbage in them. I just had to call and ask to put a note on my file to have this done as this is not typical. They easily took care of it but it really seemed odd to me. Also their vacuums are not great. I asked them to use mine instead and they agreed. With these revisions that meet my needs I have put them on a regular schedule.

Above all, I love their professionalism and the systems they have in place to make it so much easier on the client. For example, they provide a lock box so you're ensured they will never be without a key. They also follow up after the cleaning to get your feedback.

Samara, the 'operations manager' was responsive, organized and a great communicator. We filled out their priorities list ahead of time, and when the team showed up (right on time) they had that list and began executing everything in the order we had requested. The team of 3 spent 3 hours cleaning. Afterward, they communicated information about our home and cleaning needs back to Samara, and she sent us a bid for regular ongoing cleaning, with different prices for weekly, biweekly or monthly service. These regular cleanings are of course _way_ less than the initial one-time deep clean price listed. We ended up going with a biweekly service; we've had 2 of these biweekly cleaning appointments so far, and the service continues to excel. We also are very pleased with the team members who have been assigned as our regular ongoing cleaners. We highly recommend April Lane.

April Lane's Home Cleaning is wonderful! I spent an extensive amount of time researching housecleaners and April Lane's is one of only a few that has excellent reviews on both Angie's List and Yelp. Their bid was competitive and reasonably priced and even before I hired them I was struck by the attentiveness of the customer service, specifically Samara. Kristine did our initial deep clean (around $150) and she got a sink and bathtub sparkling that I thought was a lost cause. Kat currently does our biweekly service and we are never disappointed. April Lane's offers flexible time schedules and payment options. Samara followed up after a couple of cleans to make sure everything was going well.

They have cleaned for me for over 10 years. Overall, especially with my present cleaner, they could not be doing a better job. I highly recommend them.

My cleaner, A, does an excellent job and I love it. Other cleaners through April Lane's have come but none have been so thorough as A. Cleaners from April Lane's seem to all follow the same cleaning format as they work through the house, Kitchen and bath first, followed by dusting, vacuuming and mopping.

The first time Elizabeth came to clean she was concerned because our bathtub was "flaking" and reported it to her supervisor immediately. They called us and we assured them that the tub was going to be refinished or replaced one of these days. In spite of not being replaced yet, Elizabeth cleans it beautifully every time she comes. I've called and asked to have extra things done (dusting tops of lamps, picture frames, etc.) and these small tasks have been added to our cleaning requirements at no extra chart. Elizabeth cleans on a regular schedule and the one time she was unable to come a substitute was placed and also did an excellent job.

I have been using their service for years and they do what we want to get done to the house. They are just great and I never had the need to look for anyone else. The people are always top notch and they always do little extra things. Their prices are well worth it.

They are mostly on schedule. Every once and a while we get a call saying someone is sick and they will be late. We are very happy with the job they do. They make our lives much happier.

I asked them to have a team of 2 people come out and do the cleaning and to have them be the same people every time. In the 6 month period I used them they changed the people 8 times and the quality of the cleaning was not what they promised and they were very expensive.
