ANNAPURNA STAINED GLASS

More specifically, I had started a stained glass project from another so-called glass artist (was a Groupon deal). This local artist ended up being awful to work with: cheated people (including me), anger issues, not a safe studio, etc. What a drastic contrast to working with Annapurna Glass! Ed and Judy are super sweet and have guided me every step of the way to nearly finish my mammoth project (as a beginner, I had no idea my window idea was and quot;expertand quot; not and quot;beginner.and quot; While spending so many hours (months) at their studio/home, I have seen countless pieces of art come in/out: expensive glass statues that needed repair, mirrors needing to be fixed, stained/leaded glass windows creations and restorations, etc. I'm always impressed by how amazing of a job they do. And, always with a sincere smile. They are super honest, organized, and reasonably priced. It will be bitter sweet when my project is done (only a few more days!). I will truly miss seeing them on a regular basis.

The roofing company I hired had one worker who was in too much of a hurry and he broke a pane in one of the leaded glass windows of my hundred year old house in Wallingford. They didn't bother to tell me about it, but they contacted Annapurna Glass. There was a business card left for my tenant who let me know about the problem. I made the appointment and was there when Ed, the owner, arrived. He was right on time and took to the repair. I believe it was difficult because of the age of the original window and the way they did the leading then. The broken piece was about 10and quot;x2.5and quot; with pointed top and bottom, so the piece had to be carefully cut to match. I was impressed that he used and quot;oldand quot; glass. My husband's chatting and a cat walking across the dining room table where he was working didn't slow down the work. I'd asked about an old crack in another window, but Ed advised it would not come out well and better left well enough alone. I was very happy with the work and that the roofing company selected Annapurna Glass (but not that they didn't tell me about it). I don't know the cost because the roofing company paid for it.

Rebuilt our old 1920s vintage, single hung windows. They were very patient with a non square house. Our home is old and it's very custom work. The windows had to match what they looked like originally, they house is very crooked.
