Great! Driver was on-time and with co-worker were able to remove all the heavy items from the 2nd floor deck and garage.

First, the good: They showed up within the time frame I was originally given They stuck to the original quote I got rid of the items I needed to They showed up on a Sunday They were polite and courteous The not so great: First, one of the workers was in such bad shape he could hardly walk and I wondered how he'd lift even a paper bag. Next thing I know, he's telling the (very hard working) other guy "You know I'm f'd up." Then he goes and sits in the truck and does nothing while (very hard working) guy does everything. (reinforcements arrived in pretty short order, so I give them credit there) Second, I hired them because they say they are environmentally responsible, reuse, recycle, etc. They are not, in my experience, any of those things. The bed frame? Rather than dismantle it, they literally went at it with an ax. I was stunned. It was in good condition and could have easily been donated. Instead, it went to the landfill. They left splinters behind that were large enough you could have used them to kill a vampire. When I asked if they had a broom, I was told sorry, no. The desk was not reusable, but that they went at with a sledge hammer. This, too, could have been dismantled in a more appropriate manner. Again, I was stunned that they were using axes and sledgehammers in the house. Lastly, on their multiple trips out my wood front door, they managed to damage an area about 3 inches long, essentially the size of a large splinter. They had to know they'd hit the door, but no one said anything.

We were moving and it was great to know that our big pile of what we couldn't use could be disposed of responsibly. A huge convenience when time is of the essence!

The crew of two men arrived exactly on time, were pleasant, polite and professional, asked about our preferences and listened to what we had to say. They treated us with respect. Since we had so much stuff they asked what we wanted to get rid of first in case they did not have enough room in the truck to take everything at once. They complied with our wishes. We would not hesitate to hire them again and we have no hesitation in recommending them to others. Job well done!

It went well

Online scheduling was a snap. They called when on route. Arrived on schedule and hauled off every pile I pointed at: garage, front yard, back yard, upstairs. GONE! It looked like a full truck to me but they said, "No, only 7/8th" so I didn't pay the max truck load I was prepared for. Definitely will use them again for my kitchen/bath remodel debris removal.

Scheduling was quick and easy, but everything thereafter was a terrible experience. I hired Angel's amongst those highly rated on Angie's List solely because on their website they say they haul the items removed to a separate location and carefully sort through them so that everything that is reusable or recyclable does not end up in a landfill (see section on their website titled "Reuse and Recycling is Priority #1"). Two guys showed up with a truck that appeared more than half full, and I expressed concern that everything I wanted hauled might not fit. The driver had me show him everything and said he was certain it would all fit and gave me a $352 estimate, but then (with attitude--shown throughout job) refused to accept the Angie's List coupon, saying this was already a discounted price. So they loaded up most of the items that I had set out but then said they had run out of room in their truck so they would go to the dump and dump everything and come back and get the rest. At this point, I objected, saying that I hired them because they advertised that they don't just dump everything in the landfill but rather carefully sort and reuse/recycle. At this point the driver, who had been on edge from the start, lost it. He called his boss and in my presence was saying "I've had it! . . . What's this about a f_ _ _ing website?"--amongst other profanity. I will say that the 2nd guy, seeing my face, apologized for the behavior of the driver but this was beyond unprofessional. In the end, except for two large items that I made a real issue about wanting to go to a 2nd hand store (eg, a new fireplace insert worth about $500 and two hardwood barstools in ideal condition), I believe my boxes of Christmas decorations (perfectly good) and other household items, lumber, hardware, etc. all ended up in the landfill along with the trash. The driver, who had never even introduced himself, never came back in or talked to me after his angry outburst, while the second guy (John) apologized again, finished up and took payment (I also gave him a print out of the website he knew nothing about and asked him to tell his boss that either their practices or advertising need to change).

The guys were fantastic! Not only did two guys work in tandem to remove a hot tub weighing hundreds of pounds, but they helped cut down lilac limbs that blocked access to the fence gate, removed a fence cap, and dropped to their knees in mud -- all to remove the tub. Then, they helped put the fence back together. They were exceedingly professional under tough circumstances, and even talked down my next-door neighbor who was extremely upset I was opening our shared fence while she was putting her house on the real estate market. Not an easy task, indeed! They also took literally hundreds of boxes to the transfer station to get recycled, and even took clothing to Goodwill with what little space was left in their truck bed. Awesome job!

When I Googled for "carpet removal", I didn't realize I had to be more specific than that. Angel's Junk Removal was more than willing to remove my carpet, if it was already pulled up from the floor and sitting in a pile. I didn't realize this at the time I scheduled an appointment, but upon reflection it makes sense. In an effort to keep from wasting their time, I did have a refrigerator to remove, but there was another job waiting for them, and there was no charge to me. So, now I will find someone to pull the carpet up from the floor and put it in a pile. Then I will call Angel's Junk Removal back, and have them remove it.

They were nice and I think they did a good job. They did leave a few things. They left a dolly at my house. They were very very very professional. The Fridge that they moved was in a very tight place and they were able to get it out. They were very well qualified.

They were fine. My mum said they were wonderful and she was happy with them. I don't think there is anything we didn't like about them. They have standard pricing.

This is the second time I've used Angels, and am very well pleased: nice guys, good workers, fair and honest.

Angel's Junk Removal came on time, cleaned out all of my junk quickly and left the house and garage clean. They came when they said they would and gave me a 15 minute heads up call just like I asked them to. Bonus points, I could book it online.

They showed up on time with the proper equipment, loaded junk and lawn debris from a recently vacated rental house and took it all away without any drama. We would definitely use this service again.

Pat and David arrived promptly and went right to work getting rid of things in a double garage packed with over 60 years worth of junk plus stuff in the yard. They didn't just throw things in, but placed them so that they could fit the most they could in the truck. Pat and David were friendly, professional and efficient and filled the big truck in just 1 and 1/2 hours. We were very impressed with them and would not hesitate to use them again or to recommend them to friends.

Wanted to clean out all the old furniture, junk, boxes, garbage, and misc. stuff that was clogging our basement. Reserved a time with Angels junk removal the night before and they were there within the time window they said they would be. They gave me a quick estimate and started to remove everything- and we had a LOT of stuff! After a couple hours of junk removal, they even swept the basement floor and left with no mess in sight! This is actually the second time I have used them (first was for construction debris) and will continue to use them the next time around. Competitive pricing and very convenient scheduling (7 days a week!). Nothing feels better than purging all your junk and spring cleaning.....
