All Year Moss Control

Rich did a good job. His equipment gave him a problem - the first application of roof treatment wasn't up to par, but upon looking it over with me from the ground, he saw the inconsistent coverage and immediately redid the affected areas. Furthermore, when he came back to do install and new downspout, he did still another treatment touch up because he still wasn't satisfied. I found Rich easy to work with and very interested in making me happy. I intend to have him back when I need my gutters cleaned or the roof treated.

I had everyone give me estimates on both pressure washing and air cleaning the roof. Others tried to convince me to go for the more expensive pressure washing because it would look nicer. Rich advised me to air clean it (even though it would lose him about $300 off his bid) because of the age of the roof. Pressure washing is hard on older shakes. Air blowing isn't as thorough, you can still see some needles stuck to the ends of the shakes, but the damage it might cause is negligible and the roof will last longer with the gentler treatment and preservative. I think he was overwhelmed with how much came off, so he only cleaned the front of the house and the back patio and left the rest to me, however, he saved me so much money, I can't complain. The preservative has a natural stain, and though it looks darker than in the past when I had it pressure washed first, it still looks very nice.

Great job. He showed up on time was very conscientious and explained everything to me. He cleaned up nicely around the house(on the ground)after blowing debris off the roof. A very polite and nice person to work with. The only thing: he has a tall truck and when turning around he broke off a very small branch as we have a tight parking area off the street. Not a big deal, but I mention it so that he is aware of the problem his large truck poses when maneuvering.

The representative arrived, looked over the roof, gave us a recommendation for what should be done, and gave us a cost estimate. We decided he should go ahead and do it. He then did the work that he said he would.

When I called the company, I left a message and Rich's sister Dena called me back to schedule an appointment. She was very friendly and chatty. Rich came out a few days after and I could see that he took his work very seriously. He was kind enough to help me move my flower pots to protect them from the falling debris during the pressure washing. The roof looks great. Rich cleaned and hosed off the surfaces that were covered in dirt and moss after the roof cleaning. Some minor things did break that we had accidentally forgotten to move and he indicated this on the bill he had left as well as called to apologize on our message machine. We really appreciated this and his honesty. He told us just to deduct what we felt was right from the bill to cover the cost of what was broken. He was a very kind man and we were very happy with his work.

Rich came around a few days, after I called and gave me an estimate. He said, he could do it right then, and since I was going to be home, he went to work. I was concerned that the skylights might leak (which happened in another house), but he was careful and they were fine. He rinsed them, when he was finished with the roof. Pressure washing the front porch, front deck and back deck resulted in water shooting under the doors, which I was prepared for, since it has happened before. I probably won't have him pressure wash the decks and porch again.

Rich was very responsive. Dena took down the information about what work we needed done. Rich phoned me and came to look at our roof, etc. He did the work the same day. He was very pleasant, thorough and did a terrific job. Everything looks much better and my roof should last longer without large clumps of moss trapping moisture. He also cleaned the gutters and a number of other surfaces that had become slipper due to moss or algae. The only challenge was that some of the roof moss flew onto my neighbor's porch as our houses are very close together on small city lots. If you have a reasonable distance between houses, this shouldn't be a concern. Rich offered to clean their porches to remove the moss that had landed there.

The work itself went very smoothly. Rich appeared to be a very professional and courteous contractor. He did a good job, as far as I could tell. His price was also the best, and he seemed to be very cost conscious - not wanting to do unnecessary repair to make more money. He is the owner of the company. I took a stack of cards from him and will recommend him to all my friends.

Service was excellent. Rich came out to my house to perform an estimate. Estimate was very competitive and lower than what other companies had provided. I agreed to the estimate and Rich was also able to perform the work on the same day. He did a terrific job and was very friendly and professional. My roof looks practically new! I definitely recommend this company.

Used to do this myself so I know how difficult the job is. Rich was fast, responsive and very effective (I went up to inspect the job). Great job at a reasonable price.

I called and spoke with Dena first at 9:45 a.m. on Thursday, December 21st. Dena told me Rich does his own scheduling and she would have him return my call, which would probably be in the evening, to schedule a time for an estimate with me. Rich called me back at 10:45 a.m. an hour later that same day and said he would be out in 2 or 3 days. I got a call from Rich the next day, December 22nd, around 11:00 a.m. saying he could be out in about 20 minutes for an estimate if that would work for me. I agreed. Rich came out, gave me his estimate and said he could do the job right away if I wanted. I authorized him to do the job and he was completely finished in just over 2 hours. I will most definitely use Rich again for any roof cleaning I may need again in the future. Rich was very professional and did quality work for a reasonable price.

Arrived on time and cleaned the roof/gutters quickly. Cleaned-up around the house relatively well. The zinc treatment for moss was fantastic, environmentally safe and very effective.

My call was promptly returned and I was given Dena's home number to call and make arrangements for an estimate. She can be a little too talkative, but she means well. Rich came out the very next day, gave me an estimate and the work was done the following day. Very honest and hard-working guy. I was impressed and plan to use them again.

Very quick response and scheduling. Did thorough job. Very happy and will probably use them again in the future.

Good service, no mess (other than over-spray on windows from pressure wash, which is to be expected). Completed work in one afternoon. For the amount of work performed for the price, we will use them again next year!

Dena replied to my request for information promptly and I was able to call her in the evening to ask for Rich to come out. He went to the house within 2 business days (promised 1-5). Made a quote from my house and was very polite and cordial. He performed the work as quoted over the phone. Price was very reasonable for the roof that we have. One company had already told us the roof was too steep for them but Rich apparently had no problem. The work done was good and the roof was left in good condition. The B grade given is for two reasons 1) I do not remember him telling me that he did not perform clean up of yard afterwards and I therefore had some clean up to do 2) When cleaning the roof around the sky lights which were open debris got inside the sky light frames making a mess. The promptness and price made up for any inconvenience of clean up.

I could not be home while Rich performed his work. He gave me an on-site estimate over the phone before starting and was finished before I came home. Estimate was lower than anticipated as my roof moss was minimal so no charge for moss removal. I think he removed the moss anyway since I found pieces of moss in my yard. Rich seems like a decent guy and work appeared satisfactory. I will be using his service again for my next roof cleaning. Pros:Honest estimate, very reasonable prices, on-site evaluation of roof, scheduled and completed quickly, I didn't have to be home for work to be completed. Cons:His sister, who sets up the appointments, can be very, very long winded if you're a first time customer. She pushes the importance of Rich's Christian work ethic and quotes Bible passages over the phone. Leave the religion out of it;the work should speak for itself.

Although Rich came late in the day just to give me an estimate, I was satisfied enough with his credentials and eagerness to take on the job, so agreed to have him do the work right then. He was incredibly fast and efficient, cleaning up pretty well around the house perimeter (some debris left on back deck stairs, however...a small issue). If my gutter corners no longer leak, it will be due to his work. If they do, his cleaning was the first step in determining the problem. I would hire him again.

Rich performed exactly as stated in his free estimate. He was very concientious and showed me all evidence of insurance, applicators license, business license, etc. He worked by himself and cleaned up every bit of debris. He made certain that our newly painted home and new leafguard gutters were not affected by his process. He did everything we asked him to do.

Very prompt arrival and excellent quality work. Very reasonably priced. Will use these services again. Highly recommended.

I HAD A WONDERFUL JOB DONE BY ALL YEAR MOSS CONTROL. HE GAVE ME A BID AND DID THE WORK IN THE SAME DAY. I WAS VERY, VERY SATISFIED. I WOULD CERTAINLY GIVE HIM A STRAIGHT A RATING AND WILL USE HIM AGAIN.

He was on time and completed the job the day he came for the estimate. The windows were a mess when he was done and the neighbors complained a little that there was the roofing granules in their yard afterward but not too bad. He did what he said he would do and in a very timely manner. He was easy to work with.

Contact and scheduling with Dena went well. She is very informative and friendly. Cleaning and treatment met expectations. Neat work with great clean up. Another home contractor commented on the great job that had been done.

Rich was a little late but called to let me know. We agreed on work to be done and price. He is polite, focused, hard working and well intentioned. The work we agreed to be done was fine, but there were problems arising from his not paying attention to his surroundings and/or using poor judgment: 1. Broke outside water faucet causing a geiser of water that required a complete shut off at the street (I'm afraid to get my next water bill), but to his credit, then helped to fix it, 2. Completely knocked down the fence by climbing on it and trying to stand on it to do pressure washing (he then fell off), even though the fence was obviously not very stable, and 3. In trying to clean up mess from pressure washing, continued to use the pressure washer and destroyed plants in my backyard rock wall.
