As far as we know the electrical work is fine. We did not find a permit for the work, which is a concern. The contractor, Colin, left a complete mess for us. This is for a condominium and he was contracted by our property management company. The pool room had been cleaned the night before the work was performed. We checked the room on the evening the work was performed and found a complete mess. The ladder he used was left open and not returned to it's storage location, he placed a wheelbarrow in front of the door, which was a trip hazard. The floor was strewn with trash, and parts from the old connections were left outside. The new electrical panel box carton was left, and the old electrical box was left for us to dispose of as well.

I had seen their energy efficient vehicles around. Needed an electrician and thought I would give them a call. The woman who answered the phone was amazing and very effective in getting someone out. The worker arrived on time. The worker was immediately got going on the work to be done and was very knowledgeable, efficient and friendly. I am totally impressed in all regards. I also like they charge per hour. He was fast and did an amazing amount in one hour. wow! Very impressed!
Description of Work: Figured out electrical j-box 'issues' (eg: what lines are live, and what grounds were active) from previous electrical work done by another electrical contractor. Moved the ground wire and ensure plumbing lines were able to be worked on - free from electrical line obstructions.

They grossly under counted the number of lights and then changed it after they were given the job. Then they discovered that some construction work had to be done before the lights could be installed. Therefore the final cost was much higher than the original estimate. They did the work in pieces and took excessively long to complete the work. They would get an F except that when the work was finally done it was done correctly.
Description of Work: The company was hired to install outside lights at a complex.

Our 1947 home has knob and tube wiring in our finished attic space. I wanted to convert the space to a home office, but I didn't trust the old outlets not to start a fire with the increased use. So I contacted All Wire Electric to bid on upgrading the wiring and adding a couple outlets. They sent Joey out to do the estimate. He was extremely efficient in taking measurements and providing a rough estimate on the spot using an app on his iPad. When I balked at the initial price, he was very collaborative in discussing our options to bring the cost down to something I could afford. Our main savings would come from running the conduit on the outside of the house, rather than through the walls. That afternoon, he sent an official estimate, and we scheduled for them to do the work the next week. On the day of the job, the technician arrived on time to get set up. One of his first steps was to cut a hole in the wall of our finished attic so he could access the crawl space. He didn't protect the area from dust before starting to cut into the wall, so I asked him if he could use a drop cloth. He said he wasn't creating much dust (he was) and that he hadn't brought a drop cloth. I supplied him with a plastic drop cloth, which I had in my garage. The hole he cut in the wall was quite irregular. For this reason, I gave them a B for professionalism and quality. The rest of work went well, and the tech even discovered that he could run the wire straight up from the basement through a raceway, which reduced the amount of conduit that would need to be run on the outside of the house. Joey stopped by throughout the day to check on the tech's progress and to run my credit card (via his iPad) when the work was complete.
Description of Work: All Wire Electric ran conduit up from the electrical box in the basement to the top floor of our 1947 house. They then installed 2 outlets, and rewired 3 other outlets, bringing them up to code. In order to do this, they had to cut an access hole in the wall of our finished attic.

Electrian showd up 45 minutes late in a beat up old car. Did sloppy work and not as instructed. Had told electrian that I wanted all switches and outlets to be same height as other existing. Outlets and switches not at same level so looks very sloppy since they don't line up. Outlet , switches and electrical boxes installed crooked and look horrible and uneven. Cover plates not provided with installation of switches and outlet. Was quite surprised with the work done and as each remodel job got closer to being finished their mistakes and sloppy workmanship kept appearing. I would never use this company again.
Description of Work: Moving, removing and adding electrical outlets and switches in kitchen, bathroom and garage Per contract Outlet for hood fan was suppose to be installed but electrian argued and left electrial wires hanging from hole in ceiling to be wired directly to unit instead of outlet for plug. Change out (3) outlets near sink to GFCI but only 1 outlet was changed by sink, electrian changed 2 other outlets to GFCI on back wall not near sink at all and one in the most ridiculous area behind the refrigerator. Relocated range outlet on opposite wall. Was told that 2 wire needed to be added from fuse box at additional $400 cost for range that I was going to use. 3 wire was installed was installed instead but only 2 wire was required so paid for additional plus extra hole cut in home to run wires. Wrong electrical box was installed so could not get correct cover plate to install range wires directly. Only was able to install oulet for that particular electrical box and disassemple the unit and change the wire to a cord with plug attached. Wiring from previous owner for kitchen light not installed properly and up to code, was suppose to be fixed but electrial did not have time to do it and never came back as promised to fix it. Exhaust fan was added to bathroom and switch. The unit not mounted flush with ceiling and just hangs down at an angle looks horible. Added outlet for garage door opener. Asked for outlet to be placed between both garage doors but was place by only one unit so the other unit had to be connected by extension cord when installed. Very disappointed with the installation of the outlet locations as well as the wiring set up. It is not flush mounted as expected. A large hole was cut into the dry wall and a flex conduit was run from the outlet to fuse box. So I am left with a large hole in wall which looks so unprofessional and ugly even for a garage.

It was 4 in the afternoon when electricity went out in half of my house. I got online and found All Wire Electric based on their proximity and testimonials from customers. Within 20 minutes there was an electrician at my door. James identified the problem right away, had to return to the shop for a part, and had all our lights (and electric heater) back on within 40 minutes of his initial arrival. I am thrilled at how quickly they were able to get someone to my home; and grateful that the issue was a quick fix. James was professional, efficient, and friendly. I will definitely call on them again.
Description of Work: Troubleshoot an electrical issue in my home --power in half the house went out all of the sudden. Then installed new part to fix issue.

We had used a different company for our first round of remodeling but their work was sloppy and they damaged our brand new flooring. This time around we hired All Wire to run the recessed lighting and electrical in our new master bedroom. They put in all the outlets, repaired and outside outlet which wasn't working and wired in all the electrical for our ceiling lights. While he was in the attic the electrician noticed several mistakes that had been made with the existing wiring and made sure everything was corrected. He stayed much longer than he charged us for just to make sure it was right. We are about to start work on the master bathroom now and we will bring them back for any future help we need.
Description of Work: Repaired outdoor outlet, installed several outlets, switches and wiring for lighting in large master bedroom. Repaired mistakes made by previous electricians and generally cleaned up our wiring in the attic.

All Wire met on-site to do walk through. A few days later, I received a detailed, written Estimate via email. I approved the Estimate and scheduled the job. All Wire sent out two electricians to make sure the job would be completed as quickly as possible (the residence was occupied while the work was being done and it was very cold that week). The work was completed ahead of schedule, the crew clean up everything (something I'm sensitive to) and made sure everything was working BEFORE they left. I've worked with All Wire a few times now and they have been the most reliable, professional Electrical Contractor I've used in 20+ years.
Description of Work: All Wire installed a new Service Panel for me and updated other electrical "to code". They worked on an occupied house of a customer of mine (they sub-contracted to me). They took care to keep the down-time to a minimum, and even provide temporary heat while the work was being completed. My customer was very happy and that made me look good.

The hot tub dealership gave a their (they said) low estimate to do the elictrical work of $400. That seemed outrageous. I called All Wire and Jeremiah told me his rates ($90 for first half hour and $90 for each additional hour). The wiring had been done for the previous hot tub, so he felt it would take about 1-2 hours to change the set-up to the new tub. He came, did the job, and was out of here in about 1 1/2 hours. He was delightful and was willing to dig around in spidery places! Great service at a great price. Use them!
Description of Work: Connect hot new hot tub after old one was removed.

They provided a bid for the job by phone which was the lowest I'd found. Their electrician was on-time, efficient in his work and very professional. The job was billed as quoted although he found more challenges with my home's structures than he'd anticipated. Would use them again and would recommend their business to friends and family.
Description of Work: Hired All Wire to install 3 new recessed lights.
