Description of Work: I have spent 20+ years renovating homes, initially on my own, but for the last several years using "professionals"...I have NEVER dealt with any company that was so totally fraudulent and inept. They should not be allowed to have contact with the public! I would never refer them to anyone, except to stay completely away from them.. they should be banned from any form of "service" to anyone. They belong in jail!

Description of Work: I saw an Angies list air duct and dryer vent cleaning offer. I only needed the dryer vent cleaned but I though, "sure why not" for the ducts. He did a good job with the dryer vent. When he went to set up the cleaning system for the duct system it wasn't a truck mounted system like the professionals use it was a portable unit which was going to be very very weak. I'm not even sure it was intended for that purpose. While he did that he went into my crawl space to inspect my furnace. He left both the front door and crawl space open and my cat disappeared. I didn't notice after first. He came up from the crawl space (leaving the space open with the equipment running) and then tried an $900 upsell. I've seen plenty of places attempt a couple of hundred. But my system had only been cleaned by professionals 3 years before after a rodent incident. When I noticed the Cat was missing I flipped the switch on the blower off because that was going to terrify the cat and he turned it back on. Needless to say that was a days work lost for me trying to find the cat. It turned out the cat was in the crawl space. Should I have locked the cat in a closet, yes. But it would have helped if he had told me what the procedure was. It would also helped had he not left the crawlspace open. The $900 up-sell told me he thought I was a sucker.

Description of Work: We purchased the basic service and ended up doing the deep cleaning. Amazed at how much came out of our air ducting. They were on time and professional.

Description of Work: The ad was for "air duct cleaning and dryer vent cleaning" for $89. I took this to mean they would clean all of the air ducts, but they cleaned only one of them. As far as I can tell they did not clean the dryer vent. To clean the air duct, the technician removed the metal vent from the wall, tearing the surrounding sheetrock. He did not tell me he was going to have to remove these before doing it, and he did not attempt to mitigate the damage by, for example, cutting around the vent with a utility knife to try to separate the vent from the sheetrock before pulling it out. (I don't know if this would have helped.) In the bathroom, he started to remove the vent from the wall and in the process broke up the surrounding plaster which will require repair. All in all, my experience with this provider was disappointing.

Description of Work: Voucher was for cleaning of air ducts but after inspection I was told I needed a deeper cleaning of all air ducts with a special wire brush and furnace parts. This was an additional cost of $300. Service was completed and everything appears to be running smoothly.

Description of Work: Service provider was a bit late showing up but once he arrived did an excellent job. I singed up using a coupon for general cleaning. However, when the fellow did an assessment of the ducts he noted that it looked like it had not been cleaned in several years and that there was a good amount of build up. since we just purchased the house a year ago, and the furnace and ducts were installed in 2012 I assumed they had not been cleaned since then. It looked like quite a bit of a mess. I feel much better knowing that they are clean and clear and that we've got a few years before having to do this again.

Description of Work: Cleaned our air ducts. The only reason I gave them a B was because we found several dust balls here and there after the cleaning. The guys were very nice.
