+ 2 moreHe carges $45 per hour that is well worth it as he works fast and efficiently.He workes for a number of Realtors in the area getting houses ready for sale.You call Jim and he fits you in as quickly as he can. He comes at the time you set up. He is courtious and professional. He is very honest about fixing things. He actually told me that to fix my ice maker in my refrig would cost almost as much as a new frig. I am so glad he told me as I was ready to call the appliance guy. I just will have to do w/o a icemaker until my refrig gets older. Of coause it was out of warrenty.He is sometime so honest that you don't like what you hear but you know that he is looking out for your best interests.
Description of Work: Jim will come over and just repair small issues I have around the house.He is willing to do almost anything but if he can't he will recommend someone who can.He fix a clogged line in my refigerator that was leaking on the floor. He painted an accent wall beautifully. I wanted another wall done but he suggested I wait to see how I liked the one I had done. I have a small house and he was right one wall was enough. He also readjusted some of my pocket doors that were sticking.He will start on refinishing my front door soon.

+ 3 moreJim/ Achilles Craftsman gets an A+ in my book. All went very well. As a single woman I felt I was being taken care of not taken to the cleaners.
Description of Work: Jim Young the owner of Achilles Craftsman is amazing. He can fix just about anything or remodel just about anything. He has installed appliances for me, fixed plumbing and done general home repairs. I saw a remodel he had completed before I hired him. The remodel was so amazing i knew he was the craftsman for me. He is on time, he works quickly and his work is perfection. He also explains everything he does. His transparency is admirable. Jim works on time and materials and this made me nervous at first but I found that he is so honest and works so hard that I spent less then if I had gotten bids. I will have him back whenever I need home repairs.
