Fred Parton is the owner... He is seemed very personable and appeared very professional during the estimate for work to be performed. In our negotiations, I paid up front for the water heater purchase and delivery $1022.34 and once delivered 3 weeks later due to delays. On that day I paid an additional $500.00 towards installation. After 3 more weeks of delays and attempts to contact this contractor I decided I wanted to terminate my business with him and to hire another plumber to install my water heater. When I attempted to opt out of the agreement and requested my installation $500.00 back, he argued and refused to return the installation fee. We went back and forth on this for several weeks both very stressful for me as we were not talking a lot of money but enough for me to use towards the installation with another contractor. Meanwhile I opened up a small claims and also hired a serving company to have Absolute Plumbing and Remodeling (Fred Parton) served. Finally on 6/23/12 (2.5 months after initial contact with this contractor) he returned my installation money and gave me a proof of purchase so I can warranty my water heater. In all honesty, I feel the integrity of this contractor and lack of professionalism led to a lot of wasted time, money and stress over something that should have been solved within a day. I would never hire this contractor again or refer him to my family, friends or clients, however, he may have learned something from this experience and will, from now on give the quality customer service and attention to his business that would reflect better on him and perhaps gain him some respect and referrals. I wish him the best of luck. Sometimes we makes mistakes and it's from those mistakes that we become better at what we do.

The service was responsive, I overall wasn't please because the original estimate wasn't kept as an additional stand and the time to pick it up and put it together weren't included in the original estimate. It seems like an experienced plumber would know what size stand would fit which water heaters. This additional cost of $130 could have been avoided if this had been communicated originally, as I could have set-up a different stand. I also ended up having a leak after the installation was completed (within a couple days) which was immediately fixed, but an inconvenience and created more water in the garage. Fred was courteous and professional.

FABULOUS!! FRED ANSWERS HIS OWN PHONE!!! I TALKED TO HIM FRIDAY NIGHT, HE WANTED TO COME RIGHT AWAY BUT I DID NOT HAVE THE TIME. HE GAVE ME A QUOTE OVER THE PHONE AFTER I DESCRIBED THE PROBLEM. WE MADE AN APPOINTMENT FOR THE NEXT TUESDAY AT 11 AM, HE WAS 1/2 HOUR EARLY, GOT RIGHT TO WORK, (BONDED WITH MY DOGS!!) AND WAS DONE IN AN HOUR OR SO. HIS CHARGE WAS VERY LITTLE OVER HIS QUOTE, AND IN FACT, NEARLY 250 DOLLARS LESS THAN OTHER PLUMBERS. PROFESSIONAL, CLEAN, FAST, DEPENDABLE, KEPT HIS WORD. MY BATHROOM HAD BEEN REMODELED BY A LICENSED GENERAL CONTRACTOR A YEAR PRIOR. FRED NOTED THAT THE TOILET WAS IMPROPERLY INSTALLED AND DID THE ADDITIONAL WORK AT NO CHARGE, HE DID NOT EVEN SAY WHAT A POOR JOB THE OTHER CONTRACTOR DID, BUT I SURE KNEW THE DIFFERENCE!!! HIRE THIS MAN AND HIS COMPANY. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!! I CERTAINLY WILL CALL ON HIM IN THE FUTURE.
