 + -1 moreDan was great! He offered helpful advice about tile and was patient with my numerous questions. His tile job is lovely. I enjoy it every time I shower. I highly recommend him.
Description of Work: Dan gave us advice about the demolition of our old tub surround. We did the demo work down to the studs and he took on the job from there. He built in a large alcove for shampoo and soap and then did a gorgeous tile job.

 + -1 moreDan did a superb job. The tiles look beautiful. He took meticulous care in doing the job. He was punctual, explained everything to our complete satisfaction and had a wonderful work ethic. Overall is was a joy to work with him.
Description of Work: A main bathroom in the 100 year old house that is our church's building was remodeled. Dan was the tiler. He tiled the floor, halfway up the walls and the shower.

 + -1 moreDan was excellent to work with and we can't recommend him enough. He did an excellent job explaining what needed to be done, our options, and how to make the best choices for our situation. He instilled a great deal of confidence by clearly showing what needed to be done and doing the job right the first time, and with great craftsmanship. He was very reliable and worked all weekend long on our bathroom because he knew it was our only shower. He went miles out of his way to find the color grout my husband wanted. He was patient and friendly with our kids. We are thrilled with his work and would recommend him whole-heartedly.
Description of Work: Dan completely demolished the old shower-surround, pulled out the old sink and vanity, and removed flooring to the subfloor. He identified some damage to the studs in the wall and was able to repair and replace as necessary. He installed waterproofing in the tub and shower area, designed a new small alcove in the shower, and insured that all of the angles were right for proper water run-off. He consulted with us on the design and planning of the tiling, and did a beautiful, professional installation job both in the shower area as well as laying a slate floor and slate baseboards. He did a careful job grouting with two different tints and waterproofed the finished project.
